Julian Assange’s Right to Publish is Our Right to Know

Hi,

Julian Assange’s hearing on the 20th & 21st February, might be our last chance to stop his extradition to the US. ‘His right to publish is our right to know’ and so it is in all our interests to message our friends about why we want his freedom and why join the MASSIVE! gathering outside the Royal Courts of Justice, London for as long as possible from 8.30 am on each day of the trial. Go to the FreeAssange website for more information.

Read more about it in the Julian Assange section of this email and Free Assange Emergency Toolkit

I will then go abroad. As a result, I won’t be writing another newsletter until April.

To help me decide if I should continue to write the newsletter, if you read it, even if it is occasionally and only part of it, please reply to this email by just writing ‘yes’ in the subject line.

“Science is more than a body of knowledge. It is a way of thinking; a way of sceptically interrogating the universe with a fine understanding of human fallibility. If we are not able to ask sceptical questions, to interrogate those who tell us that something is true, to be sceptical of those in authority, then, we are up for grabs for the next charlatan (political or religious) who comes rambling along.” – Carl Sagan

Eight billion people can be fed with healthy food if the money-grabbing globalists and their political puppets get out of the way and let farmers get on with the job of feeding local communities. The system is so stacked against farmers, our primary food producers, that; “95% of the difference between what a farmer earns and what consumers pay is going to corporations and trading systems. 100% can become part of the local economy and that’s how we bring prosperity to rural areas.” Vandana Shiva’s talk sums up the problems and solutions so brilliantly that I have included her entire talk below.

Watch: Regenerating Local Food Economies: Feeding Eight Billion; Severine Von Tsharner Fleming, host (Greenhorns, Agrarian Trust) interviews; Elizabeth Henderson (Peacework Farm / Northeast Organic Farmers Association); Dr. Wes Jackson (The Land Institute) and Dr. Vandana Shiva (author, Navdanya) The Schumacher Centre for New Economics 21st December

14 mins. Vandana Shiva: “There’s a big urgency to reclaim food as nourishment not just for human beings but for the web of life. It also means reclaiming sovereignty over our seed and of sovereignty over our food systems. And above all it means transcending the measures that have been created to mislead us into thinking that systems that are starving the earth and starving people, are actually feeding the world.”

“Our work in Navdanya has focused on measuring nutrition and health per acre rather than yield per acre and looking at biodiverse systems and biodiversity intensity. . . We can feed two times India’s population by regenerating the biodiversity in the soil, of the plants,of the insects and of our gut microbiome; The biodiversity is connected to local food systems and local food systems allow more justice for the farmers. Right now, half of the hungry of the world are farmers and farmers are being driven out and the dystopia that’s being pushed by the tech giants and Gates and Silicon Valley, is ‘farming without farmers’ food – without farms! Basically, like they went from synthetic fertilisers to GMO seeds.

Now, the latest is synthetic foods made in labs. These will still need feed. They will still use land but the land will not grow food that we can eat. It will grow raw materials of carbohydrates and proteins that’ll feed the bacteria and the cells growing in the lab. And all this is being done in the name of climate change! But not only will it need more land, it’ll need more chemicals and already, the fossil agriculture, both fossil fuel use as well as fossil chemicals and long-distance transport and globalised trading systems and the ultra processing of food, has contributed to about 50% of the greenhouse gases. My book ‘Soil Not Oil’ was dedicated to that ”

We know through history that every time human beings are displaced they’re substituted by energy slaves as Amory Lovins talked about, (Quote: ‘If we Americans still relied on human muscles to generate all the energy we happily consume, we’d each have 150 dedicated “energy slaves” working for us, all day, every day. Instead, we’ve been exploiting other forms of energy—mostly non-renewable and emissions-generating fossil fuels—for the past 150 years’.) and, roughly, (by Lovins’ formula) we are 3.5 trillion (energy slaves). If we count the energy slaves, for example, power plants, electricity generators etc., they consume the resources of the Earth: that’s the climate problem, that’s the biodiversity erosion problem and that’s really the land grab problem too. We have to take into account the energy slaves as part of the population of the Earth in terms of resource intensity and reduce, therefore, the chemical intensification, energy intensification, long distances, and shift to less energy and more endosomatic (within the body of an organism) systems with less entropy, less waste. Not just fossil energy but water. Industrial agriculture uses 10 times more water than ecological farming.

Local farms and local economies, from our study of wealth per acre, from case studies, shows that farmers’ incomes shoot up if there’s no middle man. 95% of the difference between what a farmer earns and what consumers pay, is going to corporations and trading systems. 100% can become part of the local economy and that’s how we bring prosperity to rural areas. If we had the phase of challenging chemical farming and synthetic fertilisers with organic farming, challenging GMOs with real seeds, ”

“We were told we are primitive and need to be civilised and we were always told our seeds are primitive and need to be replaced. We’ve just done a study comparing our native rice varieties with the so-called modern varieties that are the basic ones that are spreading everywhere. Just in a few indicators calcium is 146% more in native rice varieties, iron is 135% more, manganese 169% more, zinc 80% more. So food is about nourishment and nourishment is more in native seeds, therefore seed sovereignty becomes vital and it’s more in biodiverse intensive systems rather than chemical intensive systems. That’s the way we need to go to feed the 8 billion. Also to put more of the 8 billion to create an opportunity for regenerating the land. When the great depression and the great dust bowl happened, people were put to regenerate soil and water. It was called the conservation core. We need a regeneration core to regenerate the earth, to regenerate biodiversity, to regenerate health.”

“The key part that’s missing in our discussion is the issue of health because what the industrial system has done is destroyed our health possibilities and if you just look at the explosion of chronic diseases, increasingly getting linked to diseases of the metabolic disorder, linked to the gut microbiome, which is then linked to the destruction of the soil microbiome and the destruction of biodiversity, we can involve everyone in Local Food Systems as a health prescription. And this is already happening. I know so many doctors, cancer specialists, who moved the clinics to organic farms. Solutions will not come unless we change the food system. So, when we converge all of this, and even on the climate issue, ecological systems through photosynthesis can actually draw down so much carbon dioxide, we can meet 34 giga-tons and we can meet the 1.5 degree centigrade that everyone is panicking about. From the land, and working with; ‘small is beautiful and bountiful’, we can start thinking about practices on a large scale but it isn’t given the visibility.”

Vandana’s wisdom is in sharp contrast to the exploits of the corporate elite and their captured politicians at Davos whose doublespeak of ‘Build Back Better’ needs to be recognised as solely to increase their profits and power.

Read: Bill Gates attends another climate summit for Africa to market his vaccines and seeds; Rhonda Wilson; The Exposé, 16 January 2024

“We all know that malnutrition is a scourge,” he (Gates) said. And then within a few words switched into his sales pitch for vaccines.

“At the turn of the century, many people realised that we had vaccines that could save lives,” he said, “but they were not getting to the children in poorer nations who needed them most.”

He said a great number of leaders decided to support the endeavour. “But it’s not the funding that’s exciting. What’s exciting is what resulted …. I don’t think we can celebrate it enough.”

Below is a commentary on Gates’ speech at the Adaptation Finance Summit for Africa.

Gates said; “My personal engagement with climate uh started uh because I was spending time in Africa talking to Farmers about the challenges they faced … the impact of a bad harvest is malnutrition, its immiseration,”

At the Africa Climate Summit in September, Gates claimed to have had a conversation with a Kenyan farmer named Mary. This conversation was as dubious as his other remarks at the Summit. We should not assume Gates is telling the truth when he claims to have spoken to farmers in Africa for longer than it took for the camera to click or for a short video clip to be made.

Gates said; “We all know that malnutrition is a scourge … malnourishment is a factor in the majority of developing world deaths and so it’s through this vector that the deep inequity of climate change takes place,”

Gates’ use of the word “inequity” is specific. Inequity is not the same as inequality as we discuss in more detail at the end of this article.

He made a significant error in judgement when trying to sell climate change as the cause of malnutrition. Poverty is a major cause of malnutrition, not so-called “climate change.”

According to Hunger Notes: “Poverty is a principal cause of hunger in Africa and elsewhere. Individuals living in poverty often cannot afford food of sufficient quality or quantity to live a healthy life.”

In 2014, a Ghanaian paper published in the American International Journal of Social Science noted that “poverty in Africa is caused by a number of factors including corruption and poor governance, limited employment opportunities, poor infrastructure, poor resource usage, wars and unending conflicts, poor World Bank and IMF policies, among others … In Africa, programmes designed to fight poverty are not fully implemented because the funds end up in the hands of corrupt individuals, who pocket the majority.”

This endemic poverty was exacerbated by Covid measures, such as lockdowns, that were imposed on populations.

Gates offered another solution; “seed innovation.”

“The CG system uh is not well known uh but that’s the group CGIAR … a group that does uh seed Innovation … I would say one clear imperative uh as we move forward on this adaptation agenda is fully funding uh their work uh if they’re able uh over the next 3 years uh to have uh resources of $4 billion they’ll be able to get improved seeds uh to over 500 million farmers.”

The Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research or CGIAR is also the organisation behind Gates’ drive to genetically modify livestock through UKAid.

The Bill & and Melinda Gates Foundation is the second largest funder of CGIAR. The largest funder is the CGIAR Trust Fund, of which The Bill & and Melinda Gates Foundation is again the second largest funder. Overall, Gates is the largest single funder of CGIAR. The remainder of the funders except two – the Global Crop Diversity Trust and the African Development Bank Group – are national governments and United Nations agencies.

A report published in 2022 revealed how a handful of corporations with the help of Big Tech are taking over the world’s food supply. It stated:

‘To sustain their market dominance, the Industrial Food Chain’s big players actively work to deflect attention from their power grabs by promoting a distorted picture of global food and agricultural systems. This was evident at the UN’s controversial 2021 Food Systems Summit, where Big Food executives and their trade groups wrung their hands over a food system ‘broken’ by climate change and pandemic; then they assured us they were the only ones who could fix it, with a ready-made agenda for “food system transformation.”

Big Food consistently seeks to undermine the fact that the world’s three billion indigenous and peasant producers – rural and urban, fishers and pastoralists – not only feed a majority of the world’s people and most of the world’s malnourished but that they also create and conserve most of the world’s biodiversity making indigenous and peasant producers’ humanity’s best defence against climate change. [pg. 8]

Ag machinery companies, together with agrochemical and seed industry firms, have successfully propelled the narrative that precision agriculture is the key to productivity, sustainability and climate resilience. Working hand in hand with industry, many national governments, philanthro-capitalists (e.g., the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation) and the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR, which has received more than US$1 billion from the Gates Foundation) have embraced the drive to digitalise the global South and peasant agriculture. I highly recommend watching or listening to all 41 of the Oxford Real Farming Conference recordings to learn about the threats and solutions to our food and farming systems. Below are just examples to whet your appetite.

Watch; Agrobiodiversity for the Survival of our Food System, Oxford Real Farming Conference, 5 January 2024;

“After almost a century of industrialised agriculture, we’ve found ourselves in a precarious position. We’ve ended up with a food and farming system based on just a few varieties of specialised crops and animals; but with this specialisation comes great risk. Now, in the face of intersecting environmental crises – from global warming to soil degradation and biodiversity loss – we need to (re)build diversity to build resilience. This session will hear from landworkers, food-makers and seed savers who are working to revive agrobiodiversity from the grassroots – in our fields and orchards, on our plates and in our guts, and in the soils, ecosystems and communities that sustain us.’

Jyoti Fernandes; “A lot of the talk about Agro biodiversity I find in England, some about rare breeds and heritage orchard crops and the different kinds of traditional seeds and things, sometimes it can seem like it’s an affection for the past. But it’s really important we weave that past knowledge into our future way of being, it’s not something of the past, it’s very much one of the tools that we need to move forward into the future. And in fact, I find, one of our most important tools for moving into the future can retain beauty and meaning and that intricate Web of Life into the future, rather than the future being about everything being very technological and a little bit dark and a little bit corporate controlled.”

Watch: Agri-spin: How Big Industry Influences Food and Farming Policy; Oxford Real Farming, 5th January 2024; Speakers;Thin Lei Win; Clare Carlile; Emile Frison; Chairperson, Hazel Healy

‘From “climate-neutral beef”, to “nature-friendly pesticides”, Big Ag’s powerful PR machine spreads influential narratives – and employs underhand methods – to maintain the polluting status quo. Drawing on examples from the UK, EU and global context, in this panel the investigative journalism outlet DeSmog – and friends – will put corporate tactics under the spotlight. The session will be an insight into the misleading narratives used by big business and will equip ORFC (Oxford Real Farming Conference) participants to unpick the arguments used by industrial farming lobbies and make space for different visions that allow for the transformation of our food and farming system to benefit both people and nature.’

Emile Frison; “I think the general statement that; ‘agri transformation of agriculture and food systems would not be able to feed the world’, Europe in particular, is absolutely unfounded. There is now sufficient evidence that this is not true and evidence is coming from all continents, from all scales. I just want to illustrate a few here:

Six months ago, a major study was published about the agro ecological transformation in Andhra Pradesh in India where 1 million farmers, so we’re not talking about one village or just a few farmers, this is about 1 million farmers, where a study looked at, not only at productivity, but also at other dimensions such as health, environment, et cetera. And which showed that comparing the farms that have moved to what they call natural farming, that’s the name they use for agroecology, have 11% higher productivity than those that continue the chemical farming; 50% higher net income on average. But in addition, it has shown the impact it has on other factors such as health. For example, 30% lower expenditure on health in households that were practising agroecology compared to others. The same percentage of reduction of days off work because of sickness. And, in addition to that, all the biodiversity and environmental impacts were equally in favour of such a transformation.

I had the opportunity to visit Andhra Pradesh a couple of years ago, and what is really striking is to see not only these economic and other impacts, but the way that the farmers have been empowered and take control over their destiny by the accompaniment of building social capital. That is an integral part of this transformation. And another very important dimension that I witnessed there is that a lot of land is being abandoned in Andhra Pradesh because of the lack of productivity resulting from the death of the soil that has been destroyed by the chemical inputs over years and years.

And what I witnessed there is that going back to natural farming, within the first year, (land that had been abandoned for seven or eight years because of not being productive anymore), was able to gain in the first year a decent yield again and bring it back into production.

And that was increasing year by year. When we know that more than a third of agricultural land is degraded or badly degraded, this is an important dimension as well. And this is not just in Asia, India or Africa, this is valid everywhere. A couple of years ago, a study in Europe showed that in 9 different countries, in different types of production systems; dairy, cereal production, vegetable production, etc, that the net income was between 15 and 110% higher in ecological farming compared to traditional farming.

So this is valid. Now there is evidence about the performance and the arguments that are still being used by lobbyists, by the industry, to say that this will be reducing productivity is absolutely unfounded.”

Another excellent Oxford Real Farming Conference session;

From Corporations to Communities: Tipping the balance of power in decision making about our food; Oxford Real Farming; Speakers; Sofía Monsalve Suárez – Pasture for Life;Dee Woods – Landworkers Alliance; Million Belay- Ethiopia; Chair -Nick Jacobs; 5 Jan 2024

‘Who controls the food we eat and grow? Deep power asymmetries in food system governance are blocking the transformation we need. For decades, the institutions and policies that affect decision-making about food systems have been captured by corporate overreach, undermining the public good and the rights of people and communities to engage in food system decision-making on their own terms. This event will reveal who really controls agri-food policy and regulatory decisions and how, exposing the growing influence of multinational corporations over these processes. We will hear examples from near and far – from experts on regional struggles in Africa and the UK and global struggles in international decision-making spaces – as they propose actionable mechanisms and alternative spaces to recapture food system decision-making for the public interest.’

The meat debate

Two titans of the local food movement: Colin Tudge interviews Chris Smaje to discuss how important smallholders are and why fake food is the new junk food.

Watch/Listen: A Small Farm Future – and Say No to a Farm-Free Future! The Great Re-Think Videos 18th January.

‘In 2007 Chris Smaje gave up his comfortable and pensionable job as an academic in sociology to embark on a year-long tour of Canada with his wife Cordelia and their three sons – and then the Smajes started a market-garden/smallholding near Frome in Somerset where they have lived and worked ever since. Along the way Chris wrote two highly successful books. In the first, Small Farm Future, he argues that the future of farming, and indeed of the world, must lie with small farms – and not with the high-tech industrial monocultures that are now becoming the norm. The second, ‘Say No to a Farm-Free Future’, is in large part a riposte to George Monbiot’s widely publicised thesis (‘Regenesis’) that the world would be better off if there were no farms at all – just factories producing provender of a kind from bacteria. In this webinar (also available as a podcast), Chris discusses his experiences as a small farmer in an unsympathetic economic climate, and his grand ideas for a future, agrarian world.’

Within the interview, at 33.44, Chris gives a brief summary and critique of George Monbiot’s book, ‘Regenesis’:

“The first part explains what a mess modern agriculture is in. . . I’ve got no great objections to the first part of the book. Then he has some chapters where he looks at different people doing different kinds of things in farming, trying to make farming more ecologically benign and more productive. And there’s a sort of slight element of “Well, nice try lads, but, you know, you don’t quite pull it off”.

And then the book really lands in that last bit (where) you read about ‘Farm Free’ . . . Basically, new techniques of industrial, factory based, food synthesis. And he has a very problematic chapter, where he basically says the whole positive thing about farming is just this pastoral mythology that we’ve inherited from the likes of Virgil and the old pastoral poets, but the book very much lands on ‘Farm Free’ production, on the industrial manufacturer of bacterially based food. . . George is so keen on it because, allegedly, it has a lower land footprint. So as you know, . . . his argument is that farming is incredibly destructive of nature and wild creatures, and which again, it’s complicated. I certainly don’t entirely disagree with that.

So the argument (in George Monbiot’s book) is that if we can sort of dematerialise ourselves; if we can decrease our land footprint of farming and disentangle ourselves from nature, then everyone, including the wild creatures, will be better off. But, I don’t think that’s the case and so my own book was really just trying to explore that.

The issue with it is, I think, again, to come back to economic language, there’s an important distinction between efficiency and cost. And there is the cost of bacterial protein synthesis that you need to use supplied (generated) primary energy. You know it’s energised with electricity and . . . humans have to create that electricity somehow, whereas farming is energised by sunlight. So,farming is more or less the only major economic sector which has a zero cost, zero carbon energy source, . . . the fundamental problem is that we need to decarbonise the energy supply and we’re not doing a very good job of that as things stand. But mostly as farmers, we are producing food, not using primary energy, but by using sunlight.”

To push their fake meat market, corporations have hijacked our concerns about factory farming by encouraging people to go vegan. The series below discusses how ‘less but better meat’ answers our concerns about welfare, keeps food profits in the hands of farmers and rural communities and avoids filling the pockets of the likes of Bill Gates and his Impossible Burger.

Listen: Less and Better meat? Episode 1; It’s Complicated; Farmerama, 14th January

‘It feels like one of the biggest questions of our time: What do we do about meat? Rather than choosing either extreme – business as usual, or ruling out meat altogether – some people suggest the best approach is one of ‘less and better meat’. But how much less is ‘less’? And which meat is ‘better’? How do we even begin to answer these questions? In this series, co-hosts Katie Revell and Olivia Oldham attempt to unearth what lies beneath questions of technological change and consumer choice. On an expansive, and sometimes personal, journey, they learn that – as much as the debate about meat is sometimes painted as a binary choice between right and wrong – things might not be quite so simple. They ask who – and what – benefits from different systems of production? What priorities and values do seemingly simple solutions obscure? And, perhaps most importantly, can we find some common ground, some shared principles and values, on which to build a ‘better meat’ future for all?’

Listen; Less And Better Meat?: Ep 2: The cow or the how? Farmerama 21st jan 2024

‘In episode 2, co-hosts Katie Revell and Olivia Oldham meet a climate scientist, along with regenerative and organic farmers across the UK, to discuss the complex ways that animal agriculture interacts with our natural environment. From how we measure emissions of greenhouse gases, to what we feed our animals, and which management systems we use, they ask – what is the place of farmers when it comes to less and better meat?’

To achieve a reduction of antibiotic use in livestock we need to end factory farming. However, with the government considering factory farming as a solution to climate change, AB use can only increase.

Read; Factory Farms’ Antibiotic Use Is Mounting, Despite Promises to Cut Back, Sentient Media, 10th Jan 2024

‘The Food and Drug Administration data show sales of medically important antimicrobials approved for use in farm animals rose 4.3 percent to 6.25 million kilograms in 2022. The 2022 figure is a significant decrease on the 8.36 million kilograms sold in 2016, the earliest year shown in the data. But the 2022 figure is higher than all other years since 2016, indicating a more recent trend in the wrong direction.’

Animal welfare NGOs have asking for a moratorium on factory farms for decades and we are still no closer to an end to this barbaric system

Read; Study Calls for Halt in New Factory Farms, Citing “Enormous” Human Health Risks, Truthout, 10th Jan 2024

‘A new study published in Frontiers in Veterinary Science argues that there should be a moratorium on building or expanding poultry and pig farms because of the high risk of zoonotic disease.

While the study focused specifically on the U.K., the findings concern pig and poultry farming globally.

The disease risks to humans from industrialised intensive animal farming, and especially mixed swine and poultry farms, are enormous, and must not be understated,” the report says. “The authors therefore strongly discourage granting any planning applications for new or expanding industrialised intensive animal farms, especially poultry and pig farms or a mix thereof, and especially in areas with high existing concentrations of intensive animal farms.”

Of course the banksters are behind the direction of travel, supporting factory farming and ignoring human wellbeing and animal welfare. We could invest our money in banks with ethical principles like The Co-op, but better are Triodos Bank and community banks.

Read; These UK Banks Have The ‘Worst Animal Welfare Policies, Says Study, Plant Based News, 13th January 2024

‘Prioritising animal welfare is important to UK consumers, according to the new report. As part of the research, World Animal Protection UK, carried out a survey on public views of animal welfare. Three in five UK consumers said they want all banks to have an animal welfare policy.

Three in five also claimed to feel misled to discover that their bank may be investing in harmful activities like factory farming and deforestation.

Meanwhile, nearly half of people polled said they would move where they bank to ensure their money is not used in investments that may be cruel to animals.’

Destruction of our precious farmers

The survival of farmers so they can continue to feed the local community should be a priority for councils. And yet they seldom back small holders who are fighting to defend their land from development and in some cases from plans to create cemeteries. All too often they refuse planning permission for new entry smallholder farmers who want to build housing, farm buildings and shops on their land..

Read; Family Farm diversification project forced to close down in council planning dispute Farmers Guardian, 23rd December 2024. There’s a fire wall but this is the jist….

“Diversification has been highlighted as an important part of family farms being fit for the future, but planning permission has been a stumbling block for many.

Mr Rickard said: “We are selling our own produce into the shop, such as ice cream and our own eggs. The vending machine is 100 percent our own produce, but the council is still trying to shut it down.”

It is virtually impossible for people to enter the farming profession if they don’t inherit a farm. So, it’s time for enterprising landowning farmers to allow diverse farming ventures to rent parcels of their land. And it’s time consumers bought direct from their local farmers via local farm shops or websites like Big Barn and Pipers Farm.

Read; Non-farmers bought more than half of the farms sold in 2023; 23 January 2024; FarmingUK Team

‘Farmers accounted for only 44% of open market transactions in 2023 when historically they have tended to be involved in 50-60% of purchases.

Meanwhile, non-farmer buyers – who are a mix of private and institutional investors and lifestyle buyers – accounted for 56% of sales.

And because they also tend to buy larger farms, they bought a larger area of land than farmers too, according to Strutt & Parker.

Private investors were involved in 28% of transactions, institutional investors in 13% – a rise of 10% on 2022 levels – and lifestyle buyers in 16%.’

In the same way that we were fear-mongered to believe that we would kill granny if we didn’t take the Covid19 jab, the NetZero narrative brainwashes us to fear that if we consumers don’t accept high tech farming and fake food, we will burn or flood the planet due to anthropocentric climate change.

NetZero propaganda claims that farming accounts for 30% of the UKs CO2 emissions. With that excuse, landowners are being coerced to ‘grow energy’. With supermarkets setting the market price by sourcing cheap, substandard imports, farmers must accept the NetZero conditionality to receive their basic subsidies to stay in the vital role of feeding us. However, landlords are taking advantage of the subsidies and taking back their tenanted land to cover it in solar panels. This reduces the tenant’s land size, rendering the rest of their land unviable as a farm business to cover the investments they have made in farm buildings and machines.

Read: Derbyshire farmer fears he will be turfed off land for solar farm by Jennifer McKiernan, BBC News online, 10th January

‘Andrew Dakin is the third generation of tenant farmers who have worked the land at Kidsley Farm, near Heanor. But plans for a new solar farm could see all his farming land sold off and solar panels put in place instead.’

‘Mr Dakin said it would be impossible for him to continue farming if Amber Valley Borough Council granted permission for the solar farm’.

‘Amy Wheelton, who is a tenant farmer and local councillor who also sits on South Derbyshire District Council’s planning committee, said she was alarmed at the number of applications being made for solar farms on agricultural land.

“Solar can be good,” she said. “I’ve no argument with somebody wanting to put it on their chicken sheds or their business. But you can have farmers that have been three generations farming, as I have on my tenanted land – some have invested millions in their businesses – and like that, it’s gone.”

“There’s no security of tenure and it’s just wrong.”

Ms Wheelton has solar panels covering her office rooftops and said it was “crackers” to use agricultural land for solar farms, as there was enough south-facing roof space in the UK to produce half the country’s energy needs.’

Support smallholder farms or lose them.

Listen: Farming Today, BBC R4, 26th January; week discussing Family Farms:

BBC Presenter, Bob Hockenhull: “Louise Layton is at home on Dugdales Hope Farm. It feels an emptier place since her husband Richard took his own life in the spring. He’d suffered from depression for a long time.

George: “Here, when I was younger, certainly it (taking on the farm) was just never really an option. With the family being the size it is, it was never going to be big enough to support two families or even three families long term, and Dad never really pushed that onto us. He was also quite keen for us to go and experience new things and doing work for other people.”

Bob: What do you feel about the future for family farms?”

George: “I think family farms that have taken the risk and had the foresight to invest and get bigger will continue to do so. And I think smaller family farms where maybe there isn’t the next generation to take it on, I think they’ll slowly die out. I think it’s very unfortunate. I think farming is a wonderful way of life.”

Bob: “Sam Stables is the head of a local mental health charity called We Are Farming Minds. He Says Richard’s suicide is sadly not an isolated case.”

Sam: “There’s quite a lot of farming parents that steer their children away from going into the industry, which is really sad, but it’s understandable. I mean, they’re watching their families, their mums, dads, working incredibly long hours with financial pressures, with uncertainty. Why would you try and push your child into an industry that is as it is.”

Bob: “The end of the Laytons farming here looks likely, but Louise is renting out some of her land so a nearby farmer. John Hanson, can keep some of his livestock here and make his family farm more viable.”

John: “It enables us to have more flow-stocks to enable us to try and have a better income together, with me and my brother. All these big scale farms now have become more business, business, business, and they’re just stepping on the smaller family farms and they just can’t compete.”

Farmers take to the Streets

Farmers across Europe are protesting against new NetZero rules and higher taxes raised in the name of abating climate change. They are having the rug pulled from under them. They are being penalised for following corporate-captured government incentives to industrialise their farming by taking on debt to pay for chemical and machinery inputs from taxable income in order to help them compete with cheap imported food. Without the farmers having adequate means to continue farming there is going to be a backlash.

Maybe I am naive but, if they were offered sufficient subsidies to go organic (land sharing) and have tenant smallholders farm on their land, they would be happy to farm like their forefathers; smaller scale and mixed farming practices with people, not chemicals, machines and robots, so farming in harmony with nature.

However, this is not the corporate end game. They want land for solar panels and property developments to house malleable immigrants who have no choice but accept cheap wages. Food can be imported or made in labs.

As ever more of us are herded into cities, we are to accept our city life of jobless boredom by taking drugs and playing computer games as prescribed by psychopath Yuval Noah Harari.

Harari; “I think that the biggest question in economics and politics of the coming decades will be what to do with all these useless people. I don’t think we have an economic model for that. My best guess, which is just a guess, is that food will not be a problem with that kind of technology, you will be able to produce food to feed everybody. The problem is more boredom and what to do with them and how will they find some sense of meaning in life when they are basically meaningless, worthless. My best guess at present is a combination of drugs and computer games.”

If we don’t want bankruptcy, redundancy, drugs, computer games, euthanasia and fake food, we must support the farmers’ protests and also buy from our nation’s farmers.

Listen; French farmers’ protests; ; Farming Today 30/01/2024

BBC Europe correspondent, Bethney Bell; “On this motorway, which is the main motorway between Paris and Lille, very close to Charles De Gaulle airport, I’m looking as bales of hay are being pitched forked across the motorway, blocking it. So there’s this wall of bales of hay and behind long lines of tractors with people who say they’re prepared to stay here as long as it takes. One tractor has got a big effigy of Emmanuel Macron, France is president, and it says, ‘chow Manu’, goodbye Manu. People really saying they’re here for what they call the long run.

There’ve been a number of protests that have happened over recent days. And then now we’ve had these protests around Paris moving on the capitol city. And in fact, one farmer told French television that Paris was going to starve. So, you know, there is a sense here really of emotions running very high. And we in fact joined one man who was driving along in this convoy along the motorway, and he said, ‘we’re in this absurd situation where things are far more regulated in France than they are in neighbouring EU countries. And we are suffering from that competition and it’s much harder for us to produce. And when we have that sort of competition’, he said, ‘the prices are too low, we can’t survive’. He says, ‘we need to be able to live from the work that we do’.

There are huge numbers of demands. One of the main unions is said to have presented a list of more than a hundred demands to the government. And there are of course different concerns from, say, the big cereal producers from around Paris compared to small scale farmers in the South. But one of the things that you do hear time and again, is farmers saying that the green agenda is acting as a barrier to production via regulation, via bans on chemicals. For example, the chemicals which are banned here in France, which are not banned in Italy, and yet Italian produce can be sold here using those chemicals. Whereas if a French farmer wants to use those chemicals, he can’t. And the fall in production that has resulted from that then has to be compensated by more food imports from abroad. And the farmers say that just can’t carry on.

There are similar demands (with other European farmer protests), as with France, there are very many demands. You know, the questions of fuel prices (increased), you know, subsidies on diesel (reduced), various things like this. But there is I think a, a sense of, of grievance, a sense that, in many places there was a great push by governments on supermarkets to lower prices. Now the farmers saying they’re suffering because of that. So this is something as well that is causing a great deal of concern in governments here because there is the feeling that farmers may start voting in parties from the far right when it comes to the European parliamentary elections later on this year.”

We cannot afford to lose a single farmer.

Watch Tweet; the Globalists in fear of the protests on 15th January.:

As reports emerge of German police beating farmers the crowds are growing and getting more vocal.

Watch; Germany farmer explains why he has bought his tractor to Berlin; 15th Jan

“This is about the German farming industry’s future. I was born in 1966, my son in 2003. He is currently undergoing agricultural vocation training. I’m here for him and his buddies to protest that in the future, we will still have a German farming industry, and we don’t have to import everything from neighbouring EU countries or Southern Europe or South Africa or Latin America. Farmers don’t want subsidies.

Subsidies were at some point introduced by Brussels or Berlin or Hanover. Farmers want fair prices for their products and we want to be able to make ends meet. Subsidies always have an aftertaste.”

A young Dutch farmer has his say.

Watch: This is the real reason they are going after the farmers Peter Sweden on X (twitter) 17th January.

Young Farmer: “Klaus Scwhab is telling people to eat insects but he also says, ‘in the end you will own nothing and still be happy’ – but Mr. Klaus Schwab will own everything”

“So the story: he will never eat the insects, he will force the poor people to eat insects and fake foods and produce hyper produced foods, you know, with a lot of chemicals inside and out. And they force poverty upon people, bringing them to the fact that they have to buy this kind of food because they can’t afford the rest. And by breaking down family farms in the Netherlands, food security will be at high stakes.”

Interviewer: “So is this like communism where they take from the people and only the rich people that lead, are the ones with all?”

Young Farmer: “Actually it’s very painful to say but the free and democratic country known all over the world – that we have very free laws and very free people that travel everywhere and make agreements all over the world, are now forced in some sort of pattern that sounds like communism. . . . .Climate communism.”

The article below is a UK producer complaining about increased cost of imports, not least due to supermarkets paying so little for his imports. However, the silver lining to expensive imports of fruit and veg is that we can produce more in the UK. Salad can be grown virtually all year round in polytunnels without heating, but of course it requires people to tend them and for supermarkets to pay a fair price to local farmers. Eating seasonal fruit, veg and even lamb, must be a good thing and freezing them for the hungry period is better than importing and mutton can be eaten all year round. Tax’s should be more on buying machines and chemical inputs and less on labour.

Listen; Import checks on fresh fruit and veg BBC Farming Today, 30 January 2024;

‘All this week we’re looking at trade. New post-Brexit import checks are coming in on 30th April – that means goods classed as “medium risk” under the Border Target Operating Model, will require new more stringent checks. The government’s confirmed those rules won’t come in for fruit and veg before October this year, but growers are worried the additional checks will add further friction to trade, and increased costs. We visit a grower and importer of salads in the Lea Valley and speak to the Fresh Produce Consortium who estimate that the changes could add £200 million to the cost of imports for their members.’

On a much smaller scale than the above protests, but with good reason and equal frustration, on 22nd January, 49 scarecrows were set up outside the Houses of Parliament.

Read: Faceless scarecrows in anti-supermarket Westminster stunt; Philip Clarke, Farmers Weekly, 22nd January.

‘An installation comprising 49 faceless scarecrows has been set up outside the Houses of Parliament in protest at the poor treatment of fruit and vegetable growers by supermarkets and their buyers.

The stunt has been organised by Riverford Organics as part of its #GetFairAboutFarming campaign, and the 49 scarecrows represent the 49% of growers who said they are likely to go out of business in the next 12 months, according to a survey conducted last summer.’

Farming Today 24th January at 9.44 we hear about the effectiveness of the above petition. A strong example how our democratic system is f***ed

BBC Presenter; “….the Westminster debate prompted by an e-petition signed by more than 110,000 people supporting a fairer power balance between farmers and supermarkets. The campaign calls for supermarkets to buy what they agree to buy, pay, what they agree to pay and pay on time without exception. More than a dozen MPs spoke in the debate, including Richard Ford, the liberal Democrat MP for Tipton and Honiton. He highlighted a Christmas promotion run by Aldi supermarket.”

Richard Ford; “It was gonna sell six vegetables for 15 pence each. So you could buy, for example, a bag of carrots for 15p. This is way below the cost of production and that would be one thing, but then it was copied by another six supermarkets that have done exactly the same thing. So Aldi, Asda, Tesco, Lidl, Morrison, Tesco, have come out in the pre-Christmas period to say that they’re going to sell their vegetables at these rock bottom prices. This is less about having veg as a loss leader, it is actually showing a complete lack of leadership. I was afraid it is a loss to this country because, if our vegetable producers in this country find that they can’t make ends meet, we will end up importing more and more food.”

BBC Presenter; “And the shadow Defra Minister Daniel Zeichner questioned whether the Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA) had the resources he needed to tackle the huge task he faced”.

Daniel Zeichner; “Does the GCA have the capacity to be as effective as we need it to be relative to other regulators? The GCA is extremely small and understandably constrained in terms of the number of investigations they can conduct and complaints they can investigate, and the extent to which they can provide arbitration. So I think it’s worth considering whether the size of the GCA is proportionate to the challenges it faces, particularly as those challenges are growing and becoming more formable.”

BBC Presenter; Well, the Farming Minister, Mark Spencer acknowledged that the code wasn’t always followed, but he didn’t promise to change the remit of the groceries code adjudicator. He did talk about the new regulations for fairness in the dairy supply chain.”

Mark Spencer; “I can’t give him a date as I stand here today, but I’m gonna go out on a limb and commit to him that we will table those before the Easter recess, is what I would say. I acknowledge that we should have done it quicker, but it was more important to get it right than to get it quick. And I’m confident that we have got it right in the end.

BBC Presenter; “So how important are e-petitions? Our political correspondent Helen Katt.”

Helen Katt; “If you manage to get to a hundred thousand signatures, as was the case here, then it is put forward for a debate. And the decision on whether or not that happens is down to a group of MPs called the Petitions Committee. And they will look at that, if there’s another debate, for example, if there’ve recently just been a debate on something very, very similar, they might not put your petition to a debate, but in this case they did.”

BBC Presenter; “Does anything happen afterwards?”

Helen Katt; “Well, formally the short answer to that is NO. In this process, getting the debate is the end goal. So you wouldn’t expect that anything more will come of that. And we also know from what the minister said, Mark Spencer, that he’s not planning to adopt that measure of amending the grocery supply code. So nothing formal happens after this. No.”

The presenter, ffinlo Costain, and the interviewees expose the foolishness of carbon friendly animal breeding. He pointed out; “industrialisation has been based on a lie. We need a holistic approach to ecological security. A pure focus on emissions and efficiency is driving us in completely the wrong direction.”

Listen: Wheat from the Chaff; Farm Gate; 15th January. Phil Carson (Nature Friendly Farming Network) and ffinlo Costain (8point9.com) are joined by Rob Havard (Food Ethics Council).

9 minutes in: ffinlo Costain: “Is a whole sector approach needed to create resilience in the UK dairy sector? This is the Food Ethics Council, who’ve done 2.5 years of research, looking at the way that UK dairy works, trying to find ways of changing it and creating, as they say, resilience within that sector. I think one of the key messages around this, around dairy in particular, is that it’s often very difficult for farmers themselves to change. They need the support of contractors. They need flexibility within their contracts. They need banks to support them. They need retailers to support them. Because at the moment, dairy is such a risky business.”

Phil Carson: “Yeah, it points to the need for systemic change and that makes the fair point that government schemes and funding schemes have an important role to play, but by no means the only role to play . . . this report has a plethora of recommendations for farming organisations, for those in the supply chain, for retailers, for skills, for members of the public. Yeah, pretty much everyone has a recommendation that they could adopt.

But it focuses on five in particular that are the most pertinent and most important from the view of the Food Ethics Council from the work that they’ve done with farmers over the last 2 1/2 years. And those are to end the sale of milk as a loss leading product in supermarkets, which is sensible, and create secure, fair and flexible contracts. Farmers were saying that during the COVID pandemic they wanted to sell locally, but because of the exclusivity clauses in their contract, they weren’t able to do so. . . Another one I thought was quite interesting was to create a regional relief milking labour pool which would allow staff shortages to be covered on farms all the time. And also to give farmers a bit of a break and a bit of headspace to really think about the future of their business or even to have a holiday.

And so I think that’s a really, really interesting argument or proposal to raise the standards and processed dairy products or to increase the standards across the board and then to pass any premiums on the shelf down to farmers, which is absolutely critical.”

ffinlo Costain: “As you say, the key message was that while new funding may well be available for certain aspects of nature friendly farming, that funding alone isn’t going to be enough to save the dairy sector. There’s a whole sector transition that’s needed. And, of course, the dairy sector has probably industrialised more recently and more rapidly than any other sector within agriculture. And so we’ve now got maybe a fifth of farms in the UK that are fully indoor, 365 days a year. And to me, it just seems that industrialisation has been based on a lie We need a holistic approach to ecological security. A pure focus on emissions and efficiency is driving us in completely the wrong direction. But these people have put massive investments into this infrastructure, which then has 20 or 30 years to run. So expecting them to change again is very difficult.“

30 minutes in; Phil Carson: In Northern Ireland, they have a sustainable ruminant genetics programme which would be all around benchmarking and data and things like that. But looking at it with, I admit, relatively little expertise in this area, it does seem to focus very much on efficiency and production and . . . there’s a line here around creating carbon efficient animals and it feels a bit one-size-fits-all. And I don’t know if you have any thoughts in terms of government support and making, helping, people make the right decisions in the right areas.

Rob Havard: Well, I think I’m right in saying that I heard ffinlo (Costain) talking about ‘carbon tunnel vision’ the other day and I think that this is another example of that. One of the problems of selecting it for anything is that it’s usually antagonistic for something else, which is why I try, and say keep it simple and just get a calf every year.

Rob Havard: The concern is what’s included in the metrics that come through the government schemes. And if you know we’ve got a situation where people are putting sheep in containers to measure the methane emissions and then selecting the animals that have the lowest methane emissions per unit of food that they’ve eaten and so on, to kind of ‘look at methane efficiency or carbon efficiency’. And I just fear that that’s not selecting for the functional animals that we need. Essentially, everything else goes out the window and as soon as you have these indexes it’s always tempting, unfortunately, because we’re human beings we always want the thing with the highest number, when actually we want to select out of the middle in my opinion, of the performance of that group and select what works.

And if you look at where a lot of our costs come from in the industry, it comes from interventions. . . And as soon as you start selecting outliers or selecting for the things that are not that related to the efficiency or the productive efficiency or the fertility, efficiency, of an animal, like methane emissions, then that could be a problem. And I think my final point on that is, (we should) focus on systems that should sort this out itself. We use a regenerative grazing system. We don’t really need to worry about this sort of thing because all of the carbon that’s being emitted is essentially coming from something that’s been produced through photosynthesis. So it’s already been fixed out of the atmosphere before it passes through the cow, it comes out again in another form.”

The government’s complicated changes in farm policy are explored in further detail. However, the elephant in the room is the government not stepping in to prevent competition between the supermarkets causing a spiral of ever lower payments to farmers to attract customers. Though some businesses might want to have rules that enable them to be fair, protectionism is a dirty word in the minds of our globalist banksters who ultimately call the shots over politicians though their puppets in the Treasury.

Listen; Natural capital, UK dairy, hemp & more; Farm Gate; Jan 26th 2024

‘A bumper programme, with five interviews covering everything from natural capital markets available to farmers to the fact that climate change is happening faster than predicted in Scotland. We’ll hear from the Food Ethics Council about their proposals for UK dairy, from the head of the RSPB’s Fair to Nature, and from a farmer who’s successfully introduced hemp as a break crop.

Helen Avery from the Green Finance Institute, Abi Williams from the Food Ethics Council, Christy York from the Hutton Wandesley Estate, Mark Varney from Fair to Nature, and Dr Mike Rivington from the James Hutton Institute.’

15mins; Perimeter; ffinlo Costain; “Retailers often say in these circumstances that they’d like to make the change, but that they don’t want to be at a competitive disadvantage. Is there a need for the government to step in here?”

Abi Williams, Food Ethics Council; “Yeah, So we’ve seen this a little bit in terms of milk contracts with processors and dairy farmers. So, there’s a voluntary code of conduct at the moment to try and regulate those relationships between farmers and processors. Doesn’t talk about milk prices, but talks about the relationships that they have. And there are a number of processors that signed up for that. However, we’ve heard from them that it’s often been at a disadvantage to them and really they want this policy to come in from the government. The exact same thing would be relevant for the government coming in and regulating this space.”

Food security is only possible if we have food sovereignty. However, the globalist politicians think that being able to purchase cheap food from abroad is food security! This short report is only the very tip of an iceberg of fear expressed by farmers and consumers across the globe as both large scale and small, face bankruptcy. No Farmers – No Food.

Read: Food security put in peril by Defra’s SFI policy, warns farmer by Philip Case, Farmers Weekly, 16th January

Full text: ‘Cambridge arable farmer and Nuffield scholar James Peck has written to Defra to demand an urgent review of its agricultural transition, warning it incentivises farmers to take land out of production and puts food security at risk to British people.

Mr Peck is managing director of PX Farms Limited, a family agribusiness that he has built from scratch since 2003, which farms 5,000ha across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Lincolnshire.

In his letter sent to Defra farming minister Mark Spencer, Mr Peck says the menu of actions available under the 2023 Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer is “woeful”.’

The NFU’s fight for more food to be produced in the UK is great but unless farmers get protection from cheap imports, it isn’t going to happen in retail. However, public service procurement sourced from the UK could take the lead.

Read: 2024: the NFU manifesto stresses that food is a priority for voters going into the next election Food Concerns: Fair Deal Food UK, 27th December

“Seven different environment secretaries have overseen policy since the UK voted to leave the EU in 2016 and the president of the National Farmers Union, Minette Batters, points out that the system is still area based so that large landowners continue to benefit disproportionately.”

“The focus at the moment is on growing a crop for the environment and not producing food… I think that’s going to be really hard with the cost of living crisis,” said Ms Batters, adding that consumers cared more than ever about food security. (Financial Times)

The NFU has called on all parties ahead of the next general election to commit to domestic production targets

That would offer security to farmers who are struggling with high production costs and “the biggest shake up in agricultural policy since 1947”. “Farmers will vote for whoever has a credible plan for food production,” said the NFU president.

NFU public opinion research shows that:

– 84% think food production targets are either as important or more important than environmental targets for farming.

– 82% say it would be a good idea for the government to set targets to increase British food production.

– 66% think that the parties’ plans on farming will be one of the issues that affects who they vote for at the next general election.

– 66% think that a commitment to a long-term plan for food and farming will be an important factor in who they vote for at the next election.

The group said the government should set and report on food production targets in the same way it sets environmental targets.”

Meat in a NetZero world

Methane from livestock faeces can only be collected when livestock are in sheds . So, in the name of NetZero, factory farms are seen as a solution as opposed to meadows of pasture fed livestock sequestering far more CO2! The BBC follows in lockstep with the government’s NetZero policies so there’s little balanced discussion in Farming Today. As a pilot project, the featured farmer got a free methane powered tractor no doubt in exchange for promoting the machine. It will soon enough join the other redundant machines on his farm.

Listen: Farming today BBC R4,16th Jan.

‘Methane is a particularly potent greenhouse gas, and is produced by cows burping and farting, but it’s also produced by slurry. Using diesel-guzzling machinery in the field contributes to greenhouse gas emissions, so how about using methane from farm slurry to fuel tractors instead?

Junk food alert; In the name of the UK meeting its carbon reduction targets, Big Ag is pushing its captured authorities into fast tracking the safety testing of lab grown meat.

Read; Lab-grown meat set for green light under FSA plans; Ian Quinn; The Grocer; 18 January 2024

‘A new system of fast-track approval for novel food technologies, including lab-grown meat, is due to be proposed by food safety bosses within weeks, The Grocer understands.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) will put forward options for a streamlined system of testing at its next meeting on 20 March, with a raft of novel food companies said to be “queueing up”.

The Grocer revealed in June regulatory experts were considering how to speed up approval for novel food technologies, also including insect-based food, after a major report by accountants Deloitte, commissioned by the FSA, found the move could help the UK meet its carbon reduction targets.

It recommended the FSA could allow products such as lab-grown meat to reach the market much faster by scraping existing novel foods laws.

Plans on the table are believed to include setting up a so-called ‘cultured meat sandbox’ which would see the FSA conduct intensive testing on new products and bypass the usual long and drawn-out novel food approval process.’

Soy used to be the main protein ingredient in feed for pigs, chickens and fish but now, thanks to government subsidies to private businesses, they have an insect brew. This public private partnership is also developing insect based products that are heading towards your plate! Their hurdles are the yuck factor and regulations but, no doubt the BBC’s brainwashed presenters will influence the lowering of those hurdles. We are what we eat and just as importantly, we are what the animal eats. Insects for chickens maybe, but for pigs, fish and humans …..no thanks.

Charles Breakspear: “ . . I’m a fourth year PhD student with Newcastle University looking at the use of black soldier fly ‘frass’ as a fertiliser and a potential biocontrol product.”

Presenter: “In front of you, you have a tray of, well, wriggling creatures. Explain what that is.”

Charles: “These are black soldier fly larvae. They are approximately 12 days old. They’re just about to turn into pre-pupae. These guys have increased their weight by probably about 2000 times in the last two days and this other substrate that they are swimming around in is actually their excrement.”

Presenter: “It looks actually just like very ground up sawdust. It’s a brown colour and there are light beige on top of it, so this is actually their poo in effect.”

Charles: “Yes, exactly right. We call it frass in industry and you can see these, almost like shavings. These are the shedding of the insect when they shed their exoskeleton so they can go into the next stage.”

“ . . Out of an insect bioconversion facility, up to 80% of product will be frass.”

“Just as a fertiliser, Frass is starting to prove itself. We just need to expand our studies and to field wider studies.”

Presenter: “Let’s talk about some of the concerns. These black soldier flies are not native to the UK. What happens if they escape?”

Laurie: “This particular species isn’t native to the UK, however it is not classed as a pest species, so it poses no threat to human animal or to plant health. We usually rear them around about 27°C so they don’t tend to thrive very well in a UK climate.

Presenter: “Rosario, you’re also looking at the idea of humans more routinely eating insects for protein. Where have we got to with that?”

Rosario: “We are looking at what we call novel foods, which includes insects and other sources of novel proteins. With insects, I think it’s probably one of the most advanced classes of novel foods, because insects are consumed already in other countries, other cultures, and even here in Europe there is quite an appetite for it.”

Presenter: “ . . But for it to become more routine, what needs to happen?”

Rosario: In addition to the technical aspects that Maureen has covered for (animal) feeds, that would be the same – and the regulations. I think consumer acceptance may be, you know, a little bit tricky because of the yuck factor that is quite prominent in countries like the UK.”

Presenter: “Maureen Wakefield is still with us. She’s the scientific lead for FERA’s Insect Services. Maureen, you’ve been working on insects for a really long time. . . When will it become a sort of everyday reality on British farms, do you think?”

Maureen: “There are a few things that perhaps need to happen to really accelerate the industry. We probably need some changes in the regulations ideally and if it is possible, if we can demonstrate the safety of the use of the currently non permitted substrates so that industry has a wider range of rearing industries for the insects that could also accelerate the insect production and insect protein production in the UK.”

Presenter: “So: SoonIsh?”

Maureen: “I would hope so, yes.”

The UK buckled under corporate pressure to legalise gene editing (called new genomic techniques (NGTs)), and now the EU has fallen in line. As in the UK, the EU deems it unnecessary to label the novel food.

Read; EU Parliament gives first green light to new rules for gene-edited plants; By Maria Simon Arboleas | EURACTIV 24th January

‘The European Parliament’s Environment Committee (ENVI) approved on Wednesday (24 January) new rules for new genomic techniques (NGTs). The plenary will vote in two weeks, but doubts remain on whether a law can be approved before the elections’.

‘MEPs in the European Parliament’s ENVI Committee on Wednesday voted on the Commission’s proposal for new rules on innovative types of gene-edited plans, which currently fall under the more restrictive genetically modified organisms (GMO) framework.

With 47 votes in favour to 31 against and 4 abstentions, a right-leaning majority agreed to set two categories of NGTs: gene-edited plants that are “indistinguishable” from those obtained through conventional breeding (NGT 1) – which would be exempted from the requirements of the GMO legislation – and those with more “complex modifications” (NGT 2) – which would follow stricter rules.

In line with the Commission’s proposal, presented in July, MEPs agreed that NGT seeds must be labelled accordingly but that there would be no mandatory labelling at consumer level for the NGT 1 products.

Lawmakers also voted to keep all NGTs out of organic production – claiming their compatibility “requires further attention” – and to prevent EU countries from banning them in their territory.

While the EU executive decided to leave the question of patents unanswered, MEPs voted to introduce a full ban on patents for NGTs “to avoid legal uncertainties, increased costs and new dependencies for farmers and breeders”.

However, the EU organics association IFOAM said in a press release that addressing the issue of patents “with an amendment and a report” was “wishful thinking”.

Despite the proposed new rules for NGTs, the overarching legal framework for biotechnologies has remained unchanged, i.e. the 1998 directive on the legal protection of biotechnological interventions.’

Around 300,000 wild plant species may be impacted by the planned deregulation of genetically engineered trees and bushes, crop plants, grasses and flowers!

Read: The Flowering Dreams of Genetic Engineering ‘TestBiotech’ (The Institute for Independent Impact Assessment of Biotechnology), 22nd January 2024

‘The Environmental Committee of the European Parliament will be voting on the future regulation of plants obtained from new genetic engineering techniques (NGTs) on Wednesday this week. If the responsible rapporteur, Jessica Polfjärd (EPP), succeeds in pushing the vote through, then genetically engineered trees and bushes as well as crop plants, grasses and flowers could all be released into the environment without undergoing risk assessment.

In contrast, members of the EU Parliament, such as Christophe Clergeau (S&D) or Martin Häusling (Greens/EFA), are demanding mandatory risk assessment for all NGT plants. This position, for example, is based on the analysis of the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES, 2023) or the Ecological Society of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (GFOE) that particularly warns for the risks of wild species. In this context, ecologist Prof. Dr. Katja Tielbörger warned that around 300.000 wild plant species may be impacted by the planned deregulation, with unpredictable and detrimental consequences for ecology and biodiversity.

Testbiotech is urging the rejection of the planned deregulation and the continuation of mandatory risk assessment of all NGT plants on a case-by-case basis.’

The US says that Mexico must buy GMO crops under the terms of the USMCA (United States, Mexico, and Canada) trade agreement, but Mexico is resisting. This report backs up the Mexican government’s concerns that GMO foods are harmful.

Read: GMO crops – organ damage, fertility impact; DNA damage not ruled out Caryn Lipson, Frontline News, 23rd January.

“GMO studies refute biotech claims of safety.”

“Mexico, while defending its own population, is actually alerting Americans to the potential dangers they face domestically. Farmers depend on corn and soy for livestock feed. Food manufacturers use corn and soy for numerous products that line supermarket shelves. Unless specifically identified as organic, it is all genetically modified.”

“The results of most studies with GM foods indicate that they may cause some common toxic effects such as hepatic, pancreatic, renal, or reproductive effects and may alter the haematological, biochemical, and immunologic parameters. . . . The use of recombinant GH or its expression in animals should be re-examined since it has been shown that it increases IGF-1 which may promote cancer.”

Dr Zac Bush says “Whether I tackle health, energy or ecology, I keep finding my way back to the soil.” and there he finds glyphosate.

Listen: How Soil Health Is Reflected in the Gut – Zac Bush, The goop Podcast

“Cancer, heart disease, autoimmune disease, neurologic diseases, mood disorders, all of them went berserk at the exact same time in history. They all had this big uptick starting in the early 1990s and then really accelerating by 2002 to 2005. . . It’s not just the US . . you can look to New Zealand, Australia, South America, Africa, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, China, all of them are now showing they’re five or ten years behind the US or showing the same progression of chronic disease. This singularity of disease phenomenon means that we should be able to turn our attention quickly to say what happened between 1988 and 2002 to change everything.

To my knowledge no other science group has done as much work as we have to really try and correlate the times in history when these events happened and the chemicals that entered our food chain and water systems during that time. The single largest contributor to the chemical kind of destruction of our food chain is a chemical called glyphosate, which is the active ingredient in the famous weed killer Roundup.”

The ploughing versus direct- drilling- with- Roundup debate is important as it is full of false news and vested interests. The spurious ‘saving the world with carbon sequestration and no till’ is a scam to sell more Roundup.

Read; Will no-till farming put paid to the plough?; The claimed benefits for minimising soil disturbance come with significant downsides; Financial Times; Clive Cookson January 25 2024

‘A solution to the weed problem frequently adopted by non-organic farmers is to spray the field with a broad-spectrum herbicide such as glyphosate, says Storkey. But that option is not open to organic farmers, who avoid applying agrochemicals to their crops.

Many organic farmers, therefore, tend to be friends of the plough. “I have long supported ploughing,” says Mark Measures, a leading UK expert on organic agriculture. “We need some form of soil cultivation because we don’t have no-till systems that work reliably, but we focus on avoiding ploughing much deeper than four to six inches [10 to 15cm], so as to avoid damage to life in the soil.”

Shallow ploughing and “non-inversion” tillage, which cuts into the soil without turning it over, sustain essential mycorrhizal fungi and worms below ground more successfully than zero-till agriculture that depends on dosing fields with biome-damaging agrochemicals, Measures argues. Soil fertility can be enhanced through crop rotation and the application of compost or manure.

“The process of cultivation is not just about soil structure and weed control,” he argues. “It’s also about the whole process of soil carbon oxidation, bringing air to the soil and making nutrients available to the crop.”

Patrick Holden, founder of the Sustainable Food Trust and another prominent organic farmer, is also a firm defender of ploughing. “The plough has become a scapegoat for the umbilical dependence of agriculture on Roundup [a glyphosate-based herbicide],” he says. “In most parts of the world, including the UK, it is impossible to establish annual crops without breaking the soil or using herbicides.”

“Roller crimper” machines, which crush and cut up weeds and other plants growing on the field before sowing, may help. So may intensive grazing of a cover crop with sheep. However, Holden believes most soils will still require ploughing from time to time.’

As soon as one toxic chemical is banned, the pesticide industry brings out another toxic concoction praising its benefits to the hilt until it too is found to wreak harm on those who eat it along with those down wind when sprayed on the fields. Typically, the BBC has no one to critique the antiviral experiment below.

Listen: Farming Today 24th January

“Neonicotinoid pesticides were approved last week for emergency use, that’s an exemption to a ban that’s been in place in the UK and the EU since 2013. The chemicals are coated onto sugar beet seeds to make them resistant to a crop virus spread by aphids, called virus yellows. Environmental campaigners say they harm plants and insects and shouldn’t be allowed. Now, scientists at the John Innes Centre in Norwich are using techniques similar to the Covid vaccines, to kill the sugar beet yellow virus directly in the plant, without interfering with the aphids that spread it, or having an impact on the wider environment. They’ve managed to create an antiviral which binds itself to the RNA in the cell, which cleans out the disease.”

Despite the biodiversity rhetoric, wildlife remains in peril

Hedgerow Protection

BBC Presenter: “MP’s were debating whether hedges should be given legal protection yesterday, as rules that had stopped farmers from cutting them back during the nesting season and from farming within two metres of the centre of a hedge, came to an end on the 31st of December. . . Well, now the RSPB, the Wildlife Trusts and the Woodland Trust are calling for immediate action to restore what they argue are vital protections. It’s only a year since the government announced ambitious plans to plant or restore 30,000 miles of hedgerows by 2037. There are still some safeguards in place, but they’re not universal, as Emily Hunter from The Woodland Trust has been telling me.”

Emily Hunter: “There is some limited protection for hedgerows through the hedgerow regulations, but they only provide protection for what’s classed as an important hedgerows, and then there’s a certain definition of what counts as an important hedgerow. It’s not for all hedgerows and so it’s not the same as the protection that was provided under Cross Compliance, which provided protections for all hedgerows on farms if they were receiving a basic payment . . .”

“The protections that were in the cross compliance were first of all, a no cutting season. So from the 1st of March, the 31st of August, farmers couldn’t cut hedgerows. That’s during the bird nesting season and they also required them to maintain a two metre buffer strip either side from the centre of the hedgerow. And in that area they wouldn’t be allowed to cultivate crops because that can compact the soil and damage roots and they couldn’t spray chemicals such as pesticides or fertilisers. This isn’t new for the government, you know, they knew that the end of cross compliance was coming at the beginning of this year. We’re calling for them to urgently do something to replace these rules, but they have known that this gap was gonna be created for some time.”

Presenter: “So, . . . what could the impact of this lack of protection be?”

Emily Hunter: “ . . this could potentially be devastating for the farmland wildlife that really depends on these refuges for nesting, for shelter and for food. What we really should be doing is improving the condition of our hedgerows and creating more hedgerows.”

Presenter: “What needs to happen now then?”

Emily Hunter: “Well, first of all we really need the government to put the protection that we had through Cross Compliance back into legislation as soon as they possibly can. And I think as well we, obviously, we support maintaining the no cutting season, but we don’t think it’s good that farmers can then just cut hedges and grow it back in the winter because that’s exactly the time that they’re producing berries that are really important food for winter migrants. So support for more rotational cutting systems as well would be really important.”

Presenter: “The government might argue that within the new sustainable farming incentive there, there’s a good incentive to restore and maintain and plant hedges. . . “

Emily Hunter: Within the sustainable farming incentive, there’s a hedgerow standard that farmers can choose to go into. They can do a hedgerow condition assessment. They can manage their hedgerows to maintain different heights and widths and provide habitats which is a positive and they can maintain or plant additional hedgerow trees. So that’s a positive. Although it’s important to note that farmers could go into that standard and just do the hedgerow condition assessment, which although it’s a start, it’s not actually delivering anything practical for nature. But what was important about having, you know, basic regulation and the cross compliance rules is that all farmers have to meet that basic regulation. It creates a level playing field for everyone, and that’s the kind of absolute minimum of what we should be doing.”

We won against his extradition to the U.S. two years ago. Let’s do that again! #FreeAssange2024

On the 18th January, hundreds of people packed into central London’s Conway Hall to hear speeches by Alexei Sayle, Len McCluskey, Stella Assange and British Members of Parliament Jeremy Corbyn, Richard Burgon and David Davis. Below are some of their words:

At 18:20: Richard Burgon: “I’ve brought together a cross-party group of MPs on numerous occasions over the past four years to try to raise awareness of Julian’s case in Parliament and beyond. We’ve tried to get to visit Julian in prison because we were worried about how he was being treated. We tried to pressure our Home Secretary to not sign the extradition warrant. We’ve called on the United States President to drop the extradition request and we’ve lobbied the US Attorney General to do so likewise. One point that we’ve always made in building that broad alliance of MPs who back Julian – I think it was 40 MPs from 8 parties who wrote to the US Attorney General – is that this does not stop with Julian Assange.

This case, in my opinion, will have a chilling effect on journalism and in my opinion it’s designed to have a chilling effect on all journalists by choosing this course of action, first, Donald Trump and now other powerful politicians in the United States as well as our own Home Secretary, have sent a warning, a warning to journalists in our country and worldwide. It appears to be an act of intimidation. It sets a dangerous precedent for other journalists and media organisations. Let us remember that Julian was invited to our country by The Guardian newspaper. He worked with some of the biggest names in publishing; the New York Times, Der Spiegel, Le Monde, and his exposure of crimes that we’ve been done in our name is an essential part of the democratic function of Journalism and that’s why Reporters Without Borders, The International Federation of Journalists, press freedom groups; Article 19, Index on Censorship and the European Center for Press and Media Freedom, as well as our very own National Union of Journalists, have all stated that Julian Assange, and I quote ‘he’s been prosecuted for exposing US rendition, unlawful killing and the subversion of the Judiciary. And that’s why they said that it creates a dangerous legal precedent, allowing any journalist in Britain to be prosecuted and extradited. It’s why Amnesty International labelled the case as politically motivated and unjustified, and said that it undermines press freedom. And over the coming months it’s essential that we repeat those arguments that this case is about the defence of one of the great freedoms: the right of the press to hold the government to account.

This case is a landmark moment, one that will see if our country wants to be seen as a beacon of a free press or if it’s going to allow the undermining of a core democratic right. And we should also be very concerned about the extradition treaty that’s been used to sign off the extradition warrant of Julian Assange in the United States. This extradition treaty and so many others signed with the US are often so one-sided, that they allowed the US to effectively police what happens in countries across the world – and I especially commend David Davis MP for his work on highlighting this in parliament.”

At 35:46 David Davis: “Let’s be clear, if Julian Assange is expedited to the United States; into the American Judicial System his chances of acquittal will be near zero. This is not really a justice system as you or I would recognise it.; a justice system with a conviction rate of 97%, largely achieved by a plea-bargaining system which threatens enormous sentences if you don’t comply with it. In Julian’s case, I guess the threat will be a 175 years sentence . . . and undoubtedly, when he’s put on trial, he’ll be refused bail, thrown into a cell, with his access to his counsel and even to his own evidence, strictly limited, handicapping his ability to defend himself. He’s already faced poisonous propaganda from the American authorities. The trial will be preceded by him walking, on camera, in a prison overall, arms and legs shackled, with the explicit purpose of convincing the public that he’s guilty before the trial even starts. As for the prospective treatment? Well, as we stand here today, roughly 80,000 American prisoners are in solitary confinement. If extradited to the US, Julian would almost certainly face the same. Now the Americans have promised that that would not happen. But in the last case I dealt with going to America, there were all sorts of promises around it, and two of them were broken the moment the deportee landed in America. So we can’t trust that either. So, what does that mean? It means he’s not going to get a fair trial then. So, Justice for Julian Assange rests in our hands and our hands alone; in the British justice system alone.”

1hr 6mins: Stella Assange: “What’s being done to Julian is, by design, there to intimidate; to intimidate regular citizens, but also to intimidate journalists, people who are in the profession. And I think it’s really there to give an example of authoritarian abuse to the world and to claim that they can get away with it while saying that they’re a democracy, or democracies, because this isn’t just about one country.

So many of you already know what Julian’s accused of. He’s accused of telling the truth, of practising journalism, but he’s beyond that. Right? He’s not just a journalist or a publisher, he’s the most consequential political prisoner of our times because he reveals the incoherence, the contradictions, of liberal democracies. What he revealed wasn’t just the way torture was institutionalised during the Bush years or how the State Department was spying on diplomats at the UN in New York, and getting their fingerprints and so on. It wasn’t just that. It was also about how European countries like Sweden were getting into deals with the United States government behind the back of the Swedish Parliament to avoid parliamentary oversight. So, it revealed a whole system of avoiding democratic process, oversight, accountability. And that’s the really embarrassing part: that it had been baked into the system; the way power operates. . . (but) there was no reform afterwards. It was just embarrassing. The emperor was caught naked. And one of these examples of the importance of the (Wikileaks) publications is in fact, Julian is indicted in relation to the Rules of Engagement. In fact, I think he faces 30 or 40 years just in relation to the Rules of Engagement. This was the publication of collateral murder together with the Rules of Engagement – basically, the rules that determine when you can kill a person in war.

Chelsea Manning actually did an interview with Louis Theroux, which is on the BBC, which is interesting to watch. And she explained her motives for leaking that information. It’s not just about how the collateral murder video was covered up by the United States saying “oh it was all fine according to our Rules of Engagement”. As Julian says in one of the interviews, “Well if those are the rules of engagement then they violate international law”. It’s not just that it’s about those young soldiers who are sitting in in the helicopter who are killing those people and then go back to the United States or to Britain with PTSD and then you end up with an epidemic of suicides. These young men and women are put in a situation – a system that is corrupt, that leads to these kinds of killings. And only a tiny minority of people, even if they behaved in that way at that time, can live with themselves after that. So, it’s not just about the victims of war in the moment, it’s the victims that war creates through the perpetrators as well.

I think from my standpoint the support for Julian is amazing and incredible, and it’s a global movement. It’s here in the UK when we were standing, doing the hands around Parliament protest. That was an incredible day as we got 10,000 people. We made it around Parliament on both sides of the Thames, holding hands in support of Julian’s freedom. And this is mirrored all over the world.

In Italy; I’m absolutely amazed by Italy because there are dozens of of towns and cities that are proposing honorary citizenship for Julian and he is now an honorary citizen of Naples. He has been approved to be an honorary citizen of Rome just yesterday. And, they’re aiming for 100 towns and cities around Italy to make him an honorary citizen. I’m going to Strasburg at the beginning of February and we’re going to hold an exhibition there at the European Parliament displaying the dozens and dozens of awards that Julian has won for the highest distinctions in journalism and human rights of integrity. About 20 journalist unions have made him either a full or honorary member in Europe, including the National Union of Journalists. Every few weeks, I have to travel and collect a new award for Julian. There’s incredible recognition for him and don’t let anyone convince you that no one cares or that people aren’t mobilising, or that people are apathetic about this case. On the contrary, this case is the most talked about case in the world internationally.

You had Lula da Silva opening the UN General Assembly in September, talking about Julian in his opening speech. He was third in the lineup, and the hall, with all these heads of state, just spontaneously erupted into applause. You don’t get that normally. You don’t get that ever! Julian is a symbol for the ability to to tell the truth. And different countries have different motivations to talk about him, but he is the most important political prisoner of our times. Yes, and he represents true democratic accountability and that his importance can not be suppressed; not by the mainstream media; not by anyone. It transcends all of that and that’s why there’s a global movement for his freedom.

On the 20th and the 21st is the hearing which is likely the final hearing in the UK courts. It will be at the Royal Courts of Justice and we need everyone to be there; all of you and at least two other people that you can bring. We’re meeting at 8:30 in front of the courts on both days and on the second day the 21st, when the hearing concludes, we’re going to March to Downing Street. So please, join me on that day for Julian, for all of us, for the future of a free open society where free speech and free press actually has a future. It’s now or never. Thank you.”

1:15:25: Vin Stefanno (National Organising Director at Assange Defence, USA): For those of you who cannot be in London on February the 20th and the 21st, we are asking that you take action in your own hometowns wherever they may be. Please show your support for freedom of the press by calling for the extradition of Julian Assange to be dropped. You can do so by going out to the streets, alone or in groups, and raising your voice.

The importance of this case cannot be overemphasised, freedom of the press in the United States as well as around the world, quite literally, hangs in the balance on the outcome of this hearing. If you would like to join others in your own hometown, please go to assangedefense.org where you can find an action close to you – or start one of your own. . . Please raise your collective voices to free Assange now. Stand up for freedom of the press. Free Assange now! Thank you all very much.”

Tucker Carlson visited Julian Assange in Belmarsh prison. Below is a short introduction to his full documentary:

Watch: Tucker Carlson Visits Julian Assange TC Shorts, 22nd December.

Tucker Carlson; “Julian Assange is one of the greatest journalists of our age. He spent his entire adult life bringing previously concealed facts to the public about what our leaders are doing. That is the very definition of journalism. Yet Julian Assange is not a hero in America’s newsrooms. He’s an enemy. Assange made the mistake of offending the media’s real constituency, which is not the public, but the powerful. For doing this journalists accused Assange of being what they are, a political operative posing as a reporter.”

Censorship/Surveillance/Coercion/Corruption

For Julian Assange to have persuaded mainstream publications to speak truth to power, was nothing short of brilliant and miraculous. They are corporate owned and their journalists must follow the government’s narrative.

“There is no such thing, at this date of the world’s history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with.

Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone.

The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth; to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it and what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes.”

As our members and supporters gathered outside Hammersmith police station to protest the arrest and detention of our comrades on terrorism charges yesterday, a bevy of officers descended from the station, surrounded our comrade Ranjeet Brar, who is on bail pending hate crimes charges from his arrest in November, and abducted him into the station. From what we have understood he has been arrested under the Terrorism Act.

Bear in mind that all our comrades have been guilty of doing is expressing their solidarity with the Palestinian people and telling the truth about zionism. Dr Reiner Feullmich has been in jail since October for spurious reasons invented by the German Government but the truth is that they want to silence him due to his leading the “Second Nuremberg” project to hold the purveyors behind the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) “pandemic” and its associated “vaccines”, responsible for their crimes against humanity. This has made him an enemy of the state.

“The Corona Investigative Committee started out because we, the founders, wanted answers to the questions that we thought many other people would also want answers to. Basically three questions. How dangerous is the virus really? How reliable is the PCR test? And of course, how much damage do the anti Corona measures, the mass mandates, social distancing, the lockdowns, and of course, the so-called vaccines, do. We were all very surprised to see that within a very short period of time, apparently many people from all over the world were tuning in and watching what we were doing.

Questioning all these experts from all walks of science, and many of the people who called us or sent us emails, are lawyers from every part of the world, including South Africa, our friend Dexter Reinfelt is one of them.

And, because it was so difficult for most people to watch, I think we just overdid it by 4, 5, 6 hours of testimony. We decided we would put this into the framework of a legal proceeding. And at the advice of our friend and colleague, Anna Garner from New Mexico in the United States – now she lives in Florida – we decided to use the grand jury investigation. We called it a Model Grand Jury investigation, just to show the people, first of all, that it can be done, that there can be a legal proceeding to look into what is really going on and how it can be done.

Because most people understand about juries because they’ve seen it on television. There is a difference between the trial jury on the one hand and a grand jury, which is only there to look at evidence of very serious crimes and then decide whether or not this is enough to indict the putative defendants. In this case, this was Pfizer, BlackRock, Fauci, Tedros, the now infamous, German professor, Dresden, who claims he invented a PCR test, etc etc.”

Robert Kennedy Jr talks to Matt Taibbi about Twitter, free speech, the controlling cabal and the European Digital Services Act.

Listen: Censorship Industrial Complex with Matt Taibbi; RFK Podcast, 21 December 2023;

RFK Jr: “In terms of protecting free speech and . . . think about where we’d be right now in this country (the USA), if it weren’t for Elon Musk? Because if Facebook is not going to lift the censorship, Google’s not going to lift it. Instagram, YouTube, they’re all heavily censored. Twitter is the only place where there’s free speech left and on a big platform in our country.”

Matt Taibbi: “Overall, yeah, absolutely. The only way the public, ‘A’, would know anything about any of this stuff that’s going on – and then, ‘B’, that there would be any chance for any kind of ‘carve out’ in what turns out to be a pretty ironclad informational cartel, not just in America, all around the Western world, is if a highly eccentric billionaire decides to opt out. I mean this is like the one scenario that they didn’t account for when they built the system. And even then, I don’t know how long he’s going to be able to hold out because they have so many different ways of applying pressure. And the law you referred to in Europe, the Digital Services Act, that’s going to be the prototype of the kind of thing they’re going to install everywhere. They obviously want to do it here. It will be harder because we have a different tradition. But you’re right, the penalties are crippling for even one violation of that Act. So, it’s going to be interesting to see what happens there.”

RFK Jr: “Yeah, you know I talked to Jack Dorsey (the former CEO of Twitter) about it. He really admires Elon. . . . He said a couple of interesting things. One is, he said, ultimately they’re going to make Elon cave (in) because there’s so many ways they could go after him and then they can, first of all get rid of all the advertisers, which is what they’re doing. And he’s been really courageous about that, saying “go ahead do it.”

“The other thing that Jack Dorsey said: I asked him . . . what’s the solution to all this manipulation that’s going on in the Internet where these sites are censoring and manipulating the way we think about things; the way we see the world. By that, we experience the world and you know . . . everything is AI and . . . we can be programmed. Human beings can be programmed: societies can be programmed and then this instrument of the Internet is the perfect way, as it turns out, to programme human beings. . . And what Jack Dorsey said is: “The answer to that is to make all the algorithms transparent so that you can choose your own algorithm. . . . because the algorithm is trying to figure out how to accomplish certain things, mainly to keep, maximise, the amount of time that you’re going to spend on this site. And they do that by feeding you information that fortifies your existing worldview and your existing beliefs. But a lot of the manipulation is taking place involuntarily. They’re trying to make us see the world in a certain way. And he said that the only way to counter that is to make all the algorithms transparent and allow you to choose your own algorithm. . . . At least you know you’re in charge of your own manipulation.”

‘Whitney Webb left mainstream media to pursue independent investigative journalism, a decision driven by her commitment to sharing accurate information and encouraging readers to do their own research. In this interview, she highlighted the lack of coverage on certain topics by both mainstream and independent media. Whitney also emphasised the need to question the actions of those in power who have never been held accountable.’

Watch: The End of the World as We Know It with Whitney Webb What Bitcoin Did, 22nd December.

Presenter: “You were going to tell me about the co-opting of the Internet.”

Whitney Webb: “So yeah, there’s been a push for several years, but now it’s gaining an insane amount of momentum. But it really goes back several years and the goal is to have a regulated Internet, which means the end of online privacy and anonymity. And (in the US) they want to do this by having people link a government issued ID to their Internet access and Internet activity.

A lot of government policy, whether it’s about this or something else, doesn’t come organically from the government. It comes from think tanks. It comes from groups like that or even the World Economic Forum, that are then given to politicians and politicians legislate and enact it. . . . And more often than not, these think tanks are funded by corporations and billionaires and all of these guys and they also own the politicians. So it’s really them creating the policy and they use the state as an enforcer to force it on the public. But this policy, one of the earliest iterations of it, at least in the United States, was during the Obama administration. They called it a ‘drivers licence for the Internet’. In order to access the Internet, when you set up an Internet connection at your house, the Internet service provider links all of your Internet traffic to your ID. And in doing so, the government and the signals intelligence arm or intelligence agency of the government then has access to, not just everything you’re posting and writing online, but also everything you read and consume online. . . I mean, this whole push is completely related to ending financial anonymity and financial privacy as well.”

It’s far inland, but nonetheless it’s a veritable fantasy island where those who understand humanity the least, gather to share their complete incomprehension of the species of which they are at least notionally a part. I’ll be the first to admit that I count myself among those who believe humankind is being herded into a trap. A trap that’s often described as a digital cage. I’m also among those profoundly alarmed by the increasingly blatant way in which those same delusional kakistocracy acts. Kakistocracy being an early 19th century word for government by the worst elements in society.

The Kakis have manoeuvred to seize control of the very stuff of life, the three, the trinity, being money, energy and most importantly of all, food. The imminent central bank digital currencies are about the control of money; the continual wars with Russia’s war in the Middle East – that at least, in part about the control of energy. And, the war on farmers and farming? Well, in the form of the suicidal policies regarding the pursuit of NetZero, is about control, by the few, of the food supply of the many. . . . The three pronged attack on freedom, the bid to control money, energy and food, is about reestablishing feudalism. Feudalism; that’s the ‘ism’ to which attention ought to be paid. Feudalism was the way of organising society that had a handful of like minded people declaring ownership of everything.

Now, here we are with the Davos crowd, steadily working to reestablish feudalism . . . But, those long ago Emperors, the Kings and Queens, had limits to their power . . . because they lacked the reach in every practical sense. They physically couldn’t do it. But, for the first time, now in the 21st century, technology has persuaded, well, what I call Homo-Davosenses, that what was previously unachievable is now within his grasp. Low hanging fruit now. Davos-Man dreams of having eyes on everyone, every minute of every day. He dreams of knowing what each of us might do before we do it, and so he dreams of being in a position to make the decisions for us ahead of time. Since the fear (of us) comes first and foremost from our numbers – 8 billion or so alive at the same time – he dreams of having control over that too. ‘The fewer the merrier’, Davos-Man would say.

But, just because total control is the fantasy of the few, doesn’t make it so. By a process, subject you might say, to something like Darwinian style selection, the present day few have revealed themselves for what they are and they’ve gathered together for protection. And at the heart of the (Darwinist) fittest, you know, ‘survival of the fittest’ and all that, they are – and I imply, near the top of this, a motley crew of sociopaths, psychopaths, misanthropes and general ne’er-do-wells, committed only to their own advantage. As well as lunatics taking over the asylum. we have the geekerati – frankly, the very last people any of us would ever willingly choose, far less vote for, in any capacity, which is why they sidestep any sort of accountability, any election, by the people. That’s why they rigged the game, change the rules of the game to their own advantage and thereby elevate each other with the brass nakedness of con artists.

But, and it’s another huge but, we do see them. More and more of us everyday. See the little Wizards behind the curtain, The globalist philanthro-paths. More and more of us have understood that those globalists don’t like us and certainly don’t care about us, not even if we live or die. We see it in the way countries, which is to say places with identities, traditions, architectures, heritages, cultures, languages and religions, that we and our predecessors, our ancestors, grew up knowing and understanding, are being made to shimmer and disappear before our very eyes. Britain is not the Britain I grew up in. Ireland is not Ireland. Sweden’s not Sweden. France is not France. Even the United States of America is disintegrating. More and more of the indigenous populations see it now. And it’s not just about uncontrolled immigration. Rather, it’s about the deliberate and forensic dismantling of identities, national identities, cultural identities, religious identities, even biological sexuality . . They have targeted families and children with a view to undermining. the most fundamental foundations.

In a development that’s so fitting as to be the stuff of parables, just as the psychos sought outright control of the food supply; the final piece in the puzzle. Those who actually feed us, those, also descended from the millennia long lineage of those who have always fed us, the farmers, have said enough is enough. And when the farmers – the farmers, that most conservative of populations – when the farmers say enough is enough, everybody listens. It happened first in the Netherlands and more recently it’s what’s happening in Germany, in Poland, in Romania, and in the form of sparks kindling all over the world.

There’ll be an uprising here in Britain soon enough, I’m sure. And the uprising by the farmers is supported more and more by the rest of the population rising, everywhere. The uprising of the farmers is supported by more and more of the population. The people are rising everywhere.

In the mainstream, where it is covered, the farmers are dismissed as yet more far right extremist domestic terrorists, which is utterly, unforgivably ludicrous. And the uprising by the farmers is supported by more and more of the rest of the population. The people are rising everywhere. It may seem like a small thing in context, but in London . . . the self-styled Blade Runners are winning their war against Mayor Sadiq Khan’s hated Ulez scheme, the Ultra Low Emissions Zone scheme. More and more people see that the climate alarmism is the blunt edge of the biggest hoax ever pulled on the peoples of the world. The Blade Runner popular revolution is part and only a part of that growing realisation that we’ve been had.

So up in Davos, where they have their heads in the clouds, the globalists know it. . . . Smell that, do you smell that? That’s fear. That’s their fear. I love the smell of Davos- Man’s fear in the morning. It smells like victory. You can tell they’re terrified; that they know they’ve bungled it. They’ve bungled it so badly and so completely that it will be their complete undoing and right soon. And you can tell it because now, after the Great Reset and Build Back Better, this time, their agenda is headed: Rebuilding Trust. As if! That ship has sailed. Davos dunces, any trust there ever was is gone for good!

And I’ll tell you what’s coming. I’ll tell you what’s coming back. We the people, we are coming back.”

With Imran Khan behind bars and US puppets in charge of the Pakistani government, this nuclear armed nation is less likely to side with Palestine and the Resistance Movement.

Pakistan ex-PM Imran Khan & top aide get 10 years jail in state secrets case; Al Jazeera English; 30 Jan 2024

‘A Pakistan court has sentenced former Prime Minister Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to 10 years jail in a case related to the leaking of state secrets.

The special court in capital Islamabad on Tuesday announced the sentence in the so-called cypher case, which pertains to a diplomatic cable that Khan claims proves his allegation that his removal from power in 2022 was a conspiracy.’

Read; Secret Pakistan Document Undermines Espionage Case Against Imran Khan. The former prime minister is charged with compromising Pakistan’s secret communications, but a document leaked to The Intercept says that didn’t happen. By Ryan Grim and Murtaza Hussai, Global Research, December 22, 2023

‘A crucial document from Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence agency, or ISI, undermines a major plank in the high-profile prosecution of the country’s former prime minister, Imran Khan’.

‘Khan remains behind bars while he faces trial for allegedly mishandling a secret document, known as a cypher, which the prosecution claims compromised the integrity of the encrypted communication system used by the state’s security apparatus. But according to an ISI analysis leaked to The Intercept, that claim is entirely false. Internally, the agency concluded that the leak of the text of a cypher could in no way compromise the integrity of the system, an assessment contrary to public claims made repeatedly by prosecutors.

The main charge against Khan relates to his handling of a diplomatic cable describing a key meeting in March 2022 between U.S. and Pakistani officials in Washington. Khan, while prime minister, had repeatedly alluded to the existence of a cypher that outlined U.S. pressure on Pakistan to remove him from power in a vote of no confidence. Though he never disclosed its full contents, at times, in public speeches, he quoted statements recorded in it from U.S. officials promising to reward Pakistan for his ouster. At one rally, Khan even waved what he said was the printed text of the document, without revealing its exact contents.’

‘On August 9, 2023, The Intercept published the text of the cypher outlining U.S. pressure against Pakistan to remove Khan. Shortly afterward, Pakistan’s own intelligence agency issued an assessment addressing the very question of how damaging publishing such a text would be.

The internal conclusion of the ISI was crystal clear: No threat to Pakistan’s encryption existed.’

Covid/Vaccines Scam and Pandemic Treaty

Watch & Read; HUGE – WHO pandemic treaty could FAIL;The controversial agreement is at risk of falling apart; Peter Imanuelsen; 24 Jan 2024

‘The chief at the World Health Organization recently said at the World Economic Forum that countries should sign up to their pandemic treaty to prepare for “Disease X”.

What is this all about you may ask.

Well, the pandemic treaty is an agreement that the WHO is working on which would essentially hand them powers in the case of a new pandemic. They would get powers like deciding to implement lockdowns, introduce vaccine passports, quarantines and even to CENSOR things that the WHO deems to be “misinformation”. At the WEF they held a meeting called “Preparing for Disease X”, warning that this new unknown disease could be 20 times more deadly than covid. But now it’s in jeopardy.

The pandemic treaty is now at risk of falling apart because of “misinformation” with the chief at the WHO warning that “future generations may not forgive us” if we don’t all jump on board and sign the agreement, which will hand over power from sovereign countries to a bunch of unelected elites at the WHO. So what is causing this?

Surprise surprise, the WHO is complaining that “a torrent of fake news, lies, and conspiracy theories” is the reason that the pandemic treaty is at risk of falling apart. In other words, people are reporting on it and they don’t like that. So of course they come back to the old classic of blaming “conspiracy theories”.

The WHO has been working on this pandemic treaty for several years, and the plan is that almost all countries of the world should sign up by this year.’ ‘Slovakia is among the countries that have rejected the pandemic treaty as well as New Zealand having concerns.

The government of New Zealand has to ensure a “National Interest Test” before they accept any agreements from the UN or UN agencies like the WHO “that limit national decision-making, and reconfirm that New Zealand’s domestic law holds primacy over any international agreements”.

The man who is now Deputy Prime Minister in New Zealand, Winston Peters, posted in May last year that people in New Zealand would be “highly concerned that the World Health Organization proposes to effectively take control of independent decision making away from sovereign countries and place control with the Director General”.

Disease X? Nothing to question here!!! In parody, Russell Brand speaks with a rightful air of sarcasm and ridicule.

Watch: So, THIS Is How They’re Prepping Us For DISEASE X! Russell Brand, 19th January.

At 16:30; “So there you are. Disease X is on its way. But fear not, because the chemical weapons industry are already preparing a solution and state media are already normalising that endeavour. And the COVID inquiry has just been abandoned and booted off into the far away future. And the keyword is partnership. As long as we’ve got partnerships in big pharma, all of our futures are safe and secure together.”

It is no coincidence that Bill Gates knows so much in advance. His cult of psychopaths will let the next virus, accidentally on purpose, escape from the lab so he can enjoy watching us all die taking his euthanasia drug disguised as a vaccine. The experiments are taking place near you, to be precise, bio-weapon facility at Porton Dhown, Wiltshire,

‘A “Vaccine” for a Non-existent Hypothetical “Disease X” is slated to to be developed at a Research Centre located at The “Defence Science and Technology Laboratory” [Dstl] at Porton Down, Wiltshire, which is one of the U.K.’s Ministry of Defense most secretive and controversial military research facilities specialising in the testing of biological and chemical weapons’.

Hypothetical “Disease X”: The WHO Pandemic Treaty is A Fraud. Demands Compliance for “Next Pandemic” Prof. Michel Chossudovsky and Steve Watson, Global Research, 21st January

‘WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, continues to mislead public opinion Worldwide. There is no such thing as “Disease X”. It’s a hypothetical construct by a WHO expert committee (2017-2018) of virologists and disease analysts. It was then envisaged in the Clade X Simulation (May 2018) and Event 201 Simulation of a Pandemic (October 2019). Both events were held under the auspices of the John Hopkins Center for Health Security with the support of the Gates Foundation.

It was then announced by Bill Gates at the Munich Security Conference in February 2022:

“The risks of severe disease from Covid-19 have “dramatically reduced” but another pandemic is all but certain”. says Bill Gates.

“A potential new pandemic would likely stem from a different pathogen to that of the coronavirus family” (CNBC).

“We’ll have another pandemic. It will be a different pathogen next time,” Gates said.

How could he know this in advance?’

WHO calls for World Pandemic Treaty to prepare for deadly Disease “Predicting” and “Preparing” for “Disease X”, by Mechael Dorgan, Fox News. Jan 21 21 2024

In his presentation at the Davos24 WEF, the WHO Director General Dr.Tedros recanted Bill Gates’ premonition, pointing to the alleged severity of the Covid-19 crisis initiated in early 2020, in blatant contradiction with official WHO data.

Bill Gates is Tedros’ Mentor. They have a close personal relationship, which occasionally borders on “conflict of interest”.

Bill Gates, Tedros et al (supported by the WHO “committee of experts”) are now predicting “Disease X” which stems from a hypothetical pathogen which is allegedly 20 times more deadly than SARS-CoV-2. What absolute nonsense.

“Aside from the fact that it will wreak havoc on humanity, the research team has no idea about the nature of the pathogen

According to Forbes:

Disease X, a hypothetical unknown threat, is the name used among scientists to encourage the development of countermeasures, including vaccines and tests, to deploy in the case of a future outbreak—the WHO convened a group of over 300 scientists in November 2022 to study the “unknown pathogen that could cause a serious international epidemic,” positing a mortality rate 20 times that of Covid-19″

300 scientists to study something which is unknown and hypothetical? The media propaganda buzz, quoting “scientific opinion” is “Disease X 20 times more dangerous than Covid”

A renewed fear campaign 24/7 has been launched, consisting of reports of an alleged new wave of Covid deaths, while totally ignoring the tide of excess mortality and morbidity resulting from the Covid-19 “vaccine”.

Video: A Vaccine for a Hypothetical “Disease X” Pandemic. Produced by Lux Media. Michel Chossudovsky and Caroline Mailloux

In early February 2018 a WHO expert committee convened behind closed doors in Geneva “to consider the unthinkable”. “The goal was to identify pathogens with the potential to spread and kill millions but for which there are currently no, or insufficient, countermeasures available.”

The Expert Committee had met on two previous occasions, most probably in 2017: “It was the third time the committee, consisting of leading virologists, bacteriologists and infectious disease experts, had met to consider diseases with epidemic or pandemic potential.

But when the 2018 list was released two weeks ago [mid February 2018] it included an entry not seen in previous years. In addition to eight frightening but familiar diseases including Ebola, Zika, and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), the list included a ninth global threat: Disease X.” (Daily Telegraph, emphasis added). It all sounds very scientific based on experts contracted and rewarded by the WHO, under the advice of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation:

“Disease X represents the knowledge [what knowledge?] that a serious international epidemic could be caused by a pathogen currently unknown to cause human disease”.

Experts on the WHO panel say Disease X could emerge from a variety of sources and strike at any time.

“History tells us that it is likely the next big outbreak will be something we have not seen before”, said John-Arne Rottingen, chief executive of the Research Council of Norway and a scientific adviser to the WHO committee.

“It may seem strange to be adding an ‘X’ but the point is to make sure we prepare and plan flexibly in terms of vaccines and diagnostic tests.

“We want to see ‘plug and play’ platforms developed which will work for any, or a wide number of diseases; systems that will allow us to create countermeasures at speed.” (Telegraph)

The work of the “expert committee” was followed by two table top simulations respectively in May 2018 and October 2019.

The Clade X Simulation: “Parainfluenza Clade X”

A few months following the WHO experts’ meeting in Geneva in early 2018, at which a hypothetical Disease X was categorised as a ‘global threat’, the Clade X table top simulation was conducted Washington D.C. (May 2018) under the auspices of The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security.

“The scenario begins with an outbreak of novel parainfluenza virus that is moderately contagious and moderately lethal and for which there are no effective medical countermeasures”. The virus is called: “Parainfluenza Clade X”

The military industrial complex is truly evil. The bioweapons that the US continues to develop, to kill those who they say are our enemies, are killing Americans, both local to the biolabs and others, just to experiment. If it wasn’t Robert Kennedy reporting, people would continue to be in denial that this crime would be allowed, let alone funded with our taxes.

The Wuhan Cover-Up: And the Terrifying Bioweapons Arms Race (Children’s Health Defense); by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Dec 2023

“RFK Jr. exposes the decades of lies.”—Luc Montagnier, Nobel laureate

‘From the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Publishers Weekly, bestselling author of The Real Anthony Fauci, comes an explosive exposé of the cover-up behind the true origins of COVID-19.

“Gain-of-function” experiments are often conducted to deliberately develop highly virulent, easily transmissible pathogens for the stated purpose of developing preemptive vaccines for animal viruses before they jump to humans. More insidious is the “dual use” nature of this research, specifically directed toward bioweapons development.

The Wuhan Cover-Up pulls back the curtain on how the US government’s increase in biosecurity spending after the 2001 terror attacks set in motion a plan to transform the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), under the direction of Dr. Anthony Fauci, into a de facto Defense Department agency.

While Dr. Fauci zealously funded and pursued gain-of-function research, concern grew among some scientists and government officials about the potential for accidental or deliberate release of weaponized viruses from labs that might trigger worldwide pandemics. A moratorium was placed on this research, but true to form, Dr. Fauci found ways to continue unperturbed—outsourcing some of the most controversial experiments offshore to China and providing federal funding to Wuhan Institute of Virology’s (WIV’s) leading researchers for gain-of-function studies in partnership with the Chinese military and the Chinese Communist Party.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s meticulously researched and rigorously sourced analysis leads listeners on a staggering journey to learn about: the key enablers and henchmen pushing for gain-of-function research; the economic motives behind gain-of-function research; successfully engineered “chimeric viruses” that can infect and kill humans; the coordinated effort to silence speculation of COVID-19’s laboratory genesis; the complicity of scientific journals to hide the origins of COVID-19; the role of the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China’s biowarfare/biodefense program ;the relationships between US health, military, and intelligence bureaucracies and scientists and their Chinese counterparts; the roles of Bill Gates and Sir Jeremy Farrar in helping to orchestrate China’s global cover-up; The Wuhan Cover-Up unveils a global conspiracy of epic proportion and lethal consequence.’

Lymes disease is one such US military experiment with ticks injected with a virus to maim and kill the enemy. It’s becoming clear that we have no enemies except those who control the money and the weapons, who have captured our democratic process and who want to rob, control and even kill us.

Listen or watch; Bioweapons and Lyme Disease with Kris Newby; Robert Kennedy Jr Podcast. A history of the US Military’s role in bioweapons and Lyme Disease is discussed in this episode with Kris Newby and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Her book, The Secret History of Lyme Disease and Biological Weapons and film; Under Our Skin.

Newby; “What I realised in the late sixties, three freaky new tick-borne diseases showed up just within 10 miles of Lyme, Connecticut, Long Island and Massachusetts, Cape Cod, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard. If you draw a circle of 10 miles around there, (it’s) really suspicious for, pretty much, three novel pathogens to show up.

There was a really deadly, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Whereas they had usually only had like one case a year, all of a sudden, there were hundreds and people were dying. Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever is the most deadly tick-borne disease in the US. And then there was the Babesiosis – a second, in-man case – which is a cattle parasite. And one thing you should know is Plum Island was the headquarters for anti-animal bioweapons. And so they studied hoof and mouth disease mostly, or bird plague”.

“Those are his original lab notebooks, his handwritten draft of his science discovery article where it talked about this other pathogen, which was a cousin of Rocky Mounted and Spotted Fever. It’s known from the scientific literature that they’re weaponizing this organism, which is officially called a rickettsia.

They were at that time freeze-drying it, aerosolizing it, and their plans were to spray it on the enemy as a very lethal thing. So that was pretty shocking. And at that time Willie Bergdorf was doing crude gain-of-function experiments with ticks. Inside of ticks, he would mix bacteria and viruses to see which ticks could transmit that because normally a tick has a disease that takes aeons to adapt to that tick.

And then over time, a population develops immunity. But when you do gain-of-function on a tick and a new organism that may have been from a different area, it’s gonna be more virulent. You’re gonna see the massive illnesses that we saw in the 70s with these things. So then, I kept on digging and also Willie (Burgdorf) worked on putting plague in fleas, so we could drop that on the enemies and Deadly Trinidad Fever virus in mosquitoes.

And this is the kind of mosquito. It’s tropical. It usually is in the south or in the tropics. It’s the mosquito that spreads Zika and Dengue. And so to test it, they were dropping these non-native mosquitoes on the poor black communities of Georgia. But I would say in the context of what happened in Lyme disease, I thought the most shocking experiment was an army funded, atomic energy commission, experiment that was done out of Old Dominion University by a scientist called (Daniel) Sonenshine.

The military wanted a tick that was very hardy. They could survive Siberian winters or whatever. And they picked the Lone Star tick, which was normally way to the south below the Mason-Dixon Line, Texas. The thing about that tick is it’s a stalker, really aggressive swarming. It has, unlike deer ticks, it has rudimentary eyes so it can track its prey.”

And what’s really horrible about this tick is it carries these rickettsia such as the Rocky Mounted Spotted Fever. So anyway, to back up: What the experiment he did on coastal Virginia – that’s on the Atlantic bird flyway – was, he got a bunch of ticks from Willie Burgdorf in Montana and he’d get the pregnant ticks, so they had 2000 to 4,000 eggs inside of them. And he would inject the ticks with a radioactive isotope so that all the baby ticks who hatched out would be radioactive for life.

He set up several grids in the swampy areas of Virginia and he would put a thousand ticks in each square. And over the months to years, he would take a geiger counter out to see how far the ticks creeped. And then he also did birth studies to see how long it would take. It takes five days for a tick to go from coastal Virginia up to Long Island where the outbreak of spotted fever was.

So it’s not proved to cause and effect, but he ended his experiments in ‘69. In ‘72 is when the horrible outbreak of Spotted Fever, which is carried by Lone Star ticks, not the deer tick, killed a lot of people. And that’s why Willie (Burgdorf) went out. So it’s just so irresponsible. And I interviewed that scientist and I said, “Well, did you have to get any kind of permitting for releasing radioactive ticks?

Radioactive ticks could cause mutations in whatever germs are in them. And certainly there could be some exotic spirochetes from Africa that accidentally got shipped to him from the lab in Montana. That has happened before. I have documentation on that. When I say, “Well, what about those uncontrolled experiments?” And he just laughed and said, “I only had to get a permit from the City of Newport News”. . . And he said, “I never could have done that today”. And later that researcher tested drugs and vaccines for animals, and his lab was shut down for cruelty to animals and safety lapses.

So, what I’m saying is these kinds of experiments in the interest of beating the Soviets had no guardrails on them. And I certainly believe that part of the problem in Lyme kinetics was this release of the ticks.”

Kennedy;

“The HIV virus has a very suspicious pedigree that has been linked time and time again by the London Times, by really well researched journalistic efforts and books, to smallpox vaccines that were given to children in Africa. And again, another virus that came somehow that leaped from bonobo chimpanzees to human beings. Nobody can explain how they did that. But those same chimps, their kidneys were being masticated and used as a substrate of the vaccine.

And that was then given to 2 million kids in the Congo. Precisely the area from which HIV emanated. You have the West Nile virus that again, has a suspicious pedigree that people have linked to Blum Island. You have Lyme disease and these we don’t know, we can’t say for sure because as you point out in your book, everything is shaded in secrecy. And the institution, the agencies that are supposed to be protecting us, all have military pedigrees themselves.

CDC came out of NIH, they came out of the Public Health Service, which is one of the five uniformed armed services. Most of these agencies were started at the Navy Lab. There’s no transparency. That’s, the worst thing is there’s no accountability.”

Dr John Campbell reviews ‘The Real Anthony Fauci, Bill Gates, Big Pharma and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health’ by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. He highly rates this book. Sometimes he is reading from the introduction, at other times commenting.

Watch: Bill Gates, Big Pharma and the Global War. Dr John Campbell, 2 January 2024

“Tony Fauci dictated a series of policies that resulted in by far the most deaths. One of the highest percentages. One of the highest percentage Covid-19 body counts of any nation on the planet. Only relentless propaganda and wall-to-wall censorship could conceal his disastrous management. During Covid 19’s first year the US, with 4% of the world’s population suffered 14.5% of total covid deaths.

Of course the UK wasn’t that far behind. How much are we influenced internationally? You know all nations did seem to go in this collective bizarre path; what I’ve called an international folie à deux – follow after the person with a mental illness; it’s what folie à deux means. I’m talking about lockdowns. We have no way of knowing how many people died from isolation, unemployment, deferred medical care, depression, mental illness, obesity, stress, overdose, suicide, addiction, alcoholism and the accidents that often accompany despair.

A June 24th 2021 BMJ study shows that the life expectancy decreased by 1.9 years during the quarantine in the United States, talks about shattering; lockdown shattering the nation’s once booming economy, putting 58 million Americans out of work, permanently bankrupting small business, including 41% of black owned businesses, some of which took generations of investment to build.

Listen to this one: This subheading is ‘Enriching the Wealthy: ‘In 2020 workers lost $3.7 trillion while billionaires gained $3.9 trillion.’ I mean, a trillion must be 1,000 billion. It’s unimaginable; ‘some 493 individuals became new billionaires and an additional 8 million Americans dropped below the poverty line!”

This interview with Dr David Grimes reveals how vitamin D boosts the immune system enough to help prevent illness from both Covid 19 and the jab and could have prevented the second pandemic i.e. the increase in deaths in the years following the Covid 19 pandemic. I suppose it comes as no surprise that Bill Gates forbade research into this life saving vitamin!

Watch; The second pandemic; Dr John Campbell and Dr David Grimes, physician, medical researcher and author into the importance of vitamin D for immunity;15 Jan 2024

I hr 14 Dr David Grimes “If the vaccinations are going to work, they’ve got to activate the immune system. But, the Gates / Wellcome Foundation had a research accelerator, in which the use of research about vitamin D was forbidden. It’s in the documents I have; ‘research concerning vitamin D will not be funded by the research Wellcome Foundation accelerator.’”

“We’re left now with our second pandemic of excess deaths and excess illness; hospitals busier than ever. Hospital coroners looking like a war zone. It’s a complete nightmare.

We’ve got a model of AIDS in recent decades and AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) and in that condition, people had a series of strange infections and rare cancers became common.

People were dying mainly from cancer and infections. And one of the main infections people with AIDS acquired was tuberculosis. So hang on now we’ve got a government report; ‘Tuberculosis continues to rise in England in 2023, increased by 7% in the first half of 2023’. That’s bad news. This more than anything tells us that at the moment we have within our society serious immune deficiency.”

“I do now, realise now we’re in a phase of serious immune deficiency, which is why people are still developing Covid after they’ve had vaccinations. But I think that the series of vaccinations are using up vitamin D. The depleting of vitamin D, they are causing vitamin D deficiency. It could very easily be tested and it could be even more easily dealt with and treated. If what I say is true, it is reversible. If, on the other hand, some people say that vaccines are causing toxic damage to the body, then I don’t know the answer to it.

If it’s due to vitamin D depletion due to the repeated vaccinations. If there’s a demand from public health for more vaccinations, well, I’m not one to say don’t do it, but I’m one to say, don’t do it until you’ve got people with good blood levels of vitamin D. Look at their population, check the blood levels of vitamin D, see how bad the problem is and correct it.

It’d be interesting to see though, what will happen to these excess illnesses and excess deaths that we’re experiencing at the moment. What effect it would have on all these people coming into the A&E departments, more than ever in the past 50 years. There’s a simple way of dealing with it, which will be cheap, hopefully very effective, and not in the least bit dangerous. It’s safe and effective. We know the problems of having low blood levels of vitamin D. We’ve seen the problems of a second pandemic which seems to be related to immune deficiency. We’ve seen the parallels with AIDS and we know very well we can correct Vitamin D deficiency very easily.”

‘Todd Callender has 30 years’ experience practising law and is the CEO of the free social media platform CloutHub. He also has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working on vaccines and other medical products including mRNA technology, managing their testing and approval process and collaborating with the World Health Organization, Pfizer and many other protagonists of the C0VlD l9 pandemic.

That experience and the research he conducted with a team of other lawyers, led to some profound discoveries like the fact that today, much of the world continues to operate under a form of medical martial law. For instance, in the USA, important parts of the constitution remain suspended together with the people’s constitutional rights. He realised that, if unchallenged, this state of affairs could persist indefinitely.’

Read: C0VlD l9 hoax goes to court by Alex Krainer, TrendCompass, 8th January.

‘In May 2020 there were rumblings that 1.4 million US Army service members would be subjected to mandatory MRNA shots. Having been involved in testing of MRNA technology for over 20 years, Mr. Callender understood the danger and immediately sought to obtain a restraining order against the US Defence Secretary to prevent him from ordering the mandatory shots on the grounds that they were experimental. The filing was served to the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). However, rather than replying to the specific allegations, the DOD and HHS only reacted with a motion to dismiss on the grounds that the court had no jurisdiction. The court agreed and dismissed the case. Mr. Callender moved to appeal this decision, but after more than 6 months of deliberation, the Appellate Court also dismissed the case.’

‘The fact that the Department of Defence and the HHS (Department of Health and Human Services) declined to contest the case, that they did not bother to present any counter arguments, and that the courts simply abdicated their duty to adjudicate the case was a shocker and a violation of the Constitutional order of the United States of America. How could this be? As Mr. Callender and his collaborators would learn, the C0VlD l9 pandemic, officially declared by President Donald Trump on 13 March 2020 had triggered a medical Martial Law that had been covertly prepared over the last 50 years!’

‘The foundations of this new legal framework had been struck on 10 January 1963 by reading the Communist Manifesto into the Congressional Record and outlining 45 changes that would need to be effected in order to convert the United States into a communist-like, dictatorial system. Incidentally, John F. Kennedy was assassinated in November of that same year, not long after he had warned the American people about the “monolithic and ruthless conspiracy” that sought to enslave every man, woman and child in the United States.’

Although a serving MP for the past fourteen years with an enormous (20,400) majority at the last election, Andrew Bridgen was expelled from the tory party in April 2023 because he said the Covid vaccines did not work and quoted an Israeli cardiologist who told him that the vaccine programme was “the biggest crime against humanity since the Holocaust”. Seems like the tories in their rush to expel him for doubting the vaccine, decided to punish him for what someone else had said.

Watch; Excess deaths debate 16 January Dr John Campbell, 16 January 2024;

Andrew Bridgen; “The eyes of history are upon us. Every generation looks back in wonder at the incredible mistakes of its forebears. They will ask questions such as, “How could they possibly not have realised how wrong they were?”, “What on earth happened to them?”, “Why did they ignore the evidence for so long, as well as their values and every opportunity to learn from the mistakes of yesteryear?” and “What madness captures men?”

From 2010 to 2019, annual death rates in England and Wales oscillated between 484,000 and 542,000. In 2020, there were 607,000 deaths, which is 65,000 more than the maximum figure in 2018. In 2021, there were 586,000 deaths, which is 44,000 more than the 2018 figure. After such a rise, there should be a significant deficit. In fact, our most vulnerable and elderly, who might have lived a while longer, were sadly taken from us early. In 2022, there were 577,000 deaths in England and Wales, and in 2023 there were 581,000. That is a huge rise when a significant deficit would, and should, have been expected. The deficit has been filled not with the extremely old and vulnerable, but has been filled—and then some—with many, many others who are often young or in the prime of their lives.

Some people might want to ascribe the excess deaths in 2022 and 2023 to the virus, but that would be a mistake; that is not what their death certificates say. Moreover, far too many young people are dying. Far from being below the recent rolling average, excess deaths in 2022 were above that average: 6% above. In 2023, when one might have expected deaths to finally fall below the average, the excess was also 6% above. Those numbers are higher in the younger age groups.’

No one with integrity can fail to be troubled by those figures.”

Pfizer tries to hide behind the PREP (Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness) Act which it claims gives them immunity, but a Federal court might prevent this scam.

Read; Pfizer Seeks Dismissal of Texas Lawsuit Alleging False and Deceptive Marketing of COVID Vaccines the Defender, 8 January 2024;

Pfizer is seeking to shift a lawsuit filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton accusing the drug giant of “false” and “deceptive” marketing of its COVID-19 vaccines to federal court, according to everythinglubbock.com.

In a Dec. 28, 2023, filing with the 99th Judicial District Court for Lubbock County, where the lawsuit was filed, Pfizer argued that the court lacked jurisdiction and that the case should be moved to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Pfizer also seeks the dismissal of the lawsuit based on several claims, including protection under the liability shield provided by the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act, or PREP Act, First Amendment free speech protections and “immunity” because it acted on behalf of the federal government to produce the vaccines.

“Pfizer is not liable because Pfizer did not make any statement nor take any action that had the capacity or tendency to deceive consumers,” the company claimed in its filing.

The lawsuit, filed Nov. 30, 2023, alleges Pfizer made “false, misleading, or deceptive” claims about its COVID-19 vaccine, tried to intimidate and censor critics of the vaccine, and violated the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act in marketing claims the company made about the efficacy, duration of protection and ability of its COVID-19 vaccine to prevent transmission.

The lawsuit also alleges Pfizer cited misleading statistics, concealed negative data and made unsupported statements about efficacy against variants like Delta.

Paxton, who first announced in May 2023 that his office would investigate COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson, is seeking over $10 million in civil penalties, plus injunctive relief barring Pfizer from making claims about vaccine efficacy similar to those challenged in the lawsuit. The lawsuit also alleges Pfizer cited misleading statistics, concealed negative data and made unsupported statements about efficacy against variants like Delta.

“The Covid-19 vaccines should be removed from the market. They’re not safe for human use,” Dr. McCullough testified. And the word is out: 53% of American adults now think the COVID-19 “vaccines” have caused a significant number of unexplained deaths.

Is the lesson of the Covid disaster that we should give its architects at the WHO more power?

Watch: Bret Weinstein on the WHO’s plans for you. Tucker Carlson, 5 January 2024;

Brett Weinstein: “Let’s say you’re a soccer player and you’ve been injected with this stuff, and it has hit your heart and caused a bunch of your cells to be destroyed by your own immune system, by toxic T-cells or natural killer cells. Well, now you’ve got a wound. If you manage to survive, to have it scar-over, then that wound will be less of a vulnerability than it would otherwise be. But if in the period after you’ve been damaged, before your heart has fully scarred, you were to push yourself to some new athletic limit. Let’s say you’re in the middle of a particularly intense game, right? That would be exactly the time when a weakness in a vessel wall might cause a critical failure and you know, you could die on the field. This was a very plausible mechanism to explain the pattern of sudden deaths that we have seen oftentimes in people who are unusually healthy and athletic.”

“To go back to the original story. Pharma had a potentially tremendously lucrative property that it couldn’t bring to market because a safety test would have revealed this unsolvable problem at its heart. And so . . . my hypothesis is that it recognised that the thing that would bypass that obstacle was an emergency that caused the public to demand a remedy to allow them to go back to work and to living their lives. That would cause the government to streamline the safety testing process so that it wouldn’t spot these things. And indeed, one of the things that we see in addition to a lot more harm in those safety tests than we were initially allowed to understand, but also, the safety testing was radically truncated so that long term harms were impossible to detect. So my bother, in question, is pharma used an emergency to bypass an obstacle to bring an incredibly lucrative technology, to normalise it in the public, in the regulatory apparatus, to sneak it by the things that would ordinarily prevent the dangerous technology like this one from being widely deployed.

The WHO, World Health Organisation, and its pandemic preparedness plan modifications: What I believe is going on is the World Health Organisation is now revising the structures that allowed the dissidents to upend the narrative and they are looking for a rematch, I think. What they want are the measures that would have allowed them to silence the podcasters, to mandate various things internationally, in a way that would prevent the emergence of a control group that would allow us to see harms clearly. So that’s the reason that I think, people, as much as they want to move on from thinking about COVID, maybe stop thinking about COVID. But do start thinking about what has taken place with respect to medicine, with respect to public health, with respect to pharma, and ask yourself the question, given what you now know, would you want to relive a pandemic like the COVID pandemic without the tools that allowed you to ultimately, in the end, see clearly that it didn’t make sense to take another one of these shots or to have your kids take, right?

We want those tools. In fact, we need them, And something is quietly moving just out of sight in order that we will not have access to them the next time we face a serious emergency. . . . I know that it sounds preposterous. But the ability to do it is currently under discussion at the international level and t’s almost impossible to exaggerate how troubling what is being discussed is. In fact, I think it is fair to say that we are in the middle of a coup. That we are actually facing the elimination of our national and our personal sovereignty, and that that is the purpose of what is being constructed. . . . What is under discussion means that in some utterly vaguely described future circumstance, a public health emergency which the director general of the World Health Organisation has total liberty to define in any way that he sees fit. In other words, nothing prevents climate change from being declared a public health emergency that would trigger the provisions of these modifications. And in the case that some emergency or some pretence of an emergency shows up, the provisions that would kick in are beyond jaw-dropping.

I call it the World Health Organisation Pandemic Preparedness Plan and what is under discussion are some modifications to the global public health regulations and modifications to an existing treaty. . . . What has been proposed are, and again, the number of things included here is incredible. . . But they, the World Health Organisation and its signatory nations will be allowed to define a public health emergency on any basis that, having declared one, they will be entitled to mandate remedies. The remedies that are named include vaccines. Gene therapy technology is literally named in the set of things that the World Health Organisation is going to reserve the right to mandate; that it will be in a position to require these things of citizens; that it will be in a position to dictate our ability to travel. In other words, passports that would be predicated on one having accepted these technologies are clearly being described.

It would have the ability to forbid the use of other medications . . . and they also have reserved the ability to dictate how these measures are discussed. That censorship is described here as, well, the right to dictate. It’s that of course ‘misinformation’ is how they’re going to describe it.”

Russia / Ukraine conflict

So, why do our leaders want the war in Ukraine to continue? As usual, it’s about money, power and the global dominance of the globalist elites. Robert F Kennedy Jr says it well:

Watch: Who Really Profits from The Ukraine War?; Robert F. Kennedy Jr. 7th January 2024;.

“This is a war that should have never happened. It’s a war that Russians tried repeatedly to settle on terms that were very, very. beneficial to Ukraine and us. The major thing they wanted was for us to keep NATO out of the Ukraine. The big military contractors want to add new countries to NATO all the time. Why? Then that country has to conform its military purchases and NATO weapon specifications which means certain companies, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Boeing, and Lockheed, get a trapped market.

In March 2022, we committed 113 billion dollars. Just to give you an example. You could have built a home for almost every homeless person In this country (USA). We then committed another $24 billion, since that, two months ago, and now President Biden’s asking for another $60 billion. But the big, big expenses are going to come after the war when we have to rebuild all the things that we destroyed. (US Senator) Mitch McConnell was asked; “Can we really afford to send $113 billion to Ukraine?” He said “Don’t worry. It’s not really going to Ukraine, “it’s going to American defence manufacturers.” So he just admitted it’s a money laundering scheme. And who do you think owns every one of those companies? BlackRock.

So (US Senator) Tim Scott, during the Republican debate said “Don’t worry, it’s not a gift to Ukraine. It’s a loan.” So, raise your hand if you think that that loan is ever getting paid back. Of course it’s not. So why do they call it a loan? They call it a loan cos they can impose loan conditions. And what are the loan conditions that we impose on them? Number 1: an extreme austerity programme. So that, if you’re poor and Ukrainian, you’re gonna be poor forever. Number 2: most Important: Ukraine has to put all of its government-owned assets up for sale to multinational corporations, including all of its agricultural land. The biggest single asset in Europe: Ukraine! There’s been 1000 years of war fought over that land. It’s the richest farmland in the world. It’s the bread basket of Europe.

500,000 kids, Ukrainian kids, have died to keep that land as part of Ukraine. They almost certainly didn’t know about this loan condition. They’ve already sold 30% of it. The buyers were DuPont, Cargill and Monsanto. Who do you think owns all of those companies? Yeah, BlackRock.

And then, in December. President Biden gave out the contract to rebuild Ukraine. And who do you think got that contract? Blackrock. So they’re doing this right in front of us. They don’t even care that we know anymore, because they know that they can get away with it. And how do they know that? Because they have a strategy and that’s a really old, old strategy, which is; they keep us at war with each other. They keep us hating each other. They keep the Republicans and Democrats fighting each other, black against white, and all these divisions that they sow.”

I am hoping that the young will see through the rhetoric that “Moscow is defeating our system and way of life”. This war was provoked to bleed Russia militarily. We must refuse to participate in our military industrial complex’s lies.

Read/Watch: British citizens should be ‘trained and equipped’ to fight in a potential war with Russia Faye Brown, Sky News 24th January

‘Sir Patrick (Sanders)has been a vocal critic of cuts to troop numbers and military spending.

In his speech at the International Armoured Vehicles conference in west London, he said the UK must urgently expand the size of the army to around 120,000 within three years – up from around 74,000 now.

But he said “this is not enough” and training and equipping a “citizen army” must follow.

He pointed to this happening across Europe, telling the audience: “Our friends in eastern and northern Europe, who feel the proximity of the Russian threat more acutely, are already acting prudently, laying the foundations for national mobilisation.

“As the chairman of the NATO military committee warned just last week, and as the Swedish government has done…taking preparatory steps to enable placing our societies on a war footing when needed are now not merely desirable but essential.”

Sir Patrick added: “We will not be immune and as the pre-war generation we must similarly prepare – and that is a whole-of-nation undertaking.

“Ukraine brutally illustrates that regular armies start wars; citizen armies win them.”’

Neil Oliver has a response to the above.

Watch: Neil Oliver. They want us to fight? For what? 25th January

Here is a selection of his thoughts:

“I don’t know if you saw the story in the news about a call-up, a, literally, call-up for British people, that the chief of the general staff has been out in the world saying that the government, the British government, should mobilise the nation, mobilise the nation in readiness for fighting Russia. So, get ready for war with Russia. Don’t just get ready to watch war with Russia. Get ready to fight Russians, hand to hand, in uniform, according to General Sir Patrick Sanders. . . .”

“Rishi Sunak and Grant Shaps have already spoken about that war, about us being committed to Ukraine for a hundred years or more. They’re all talking in terms of signing up with Europe and striking deals with Europe, 10 years long. All in the notion of security of some sort or other. So that’s where the kids would go. They’d go to war in Ukraine or wherever else as part of the military industrial complex investment in war for profit. And in complete disregard for their lives or any lives except their own. I would put good money on the fact that the sons and daughters of the establishment figures, for some reason they won’t get called up.”

“Those in the establishment now, the government and the rest of it, are wholly enthralled to money; the transnational banks and the transnational corporations that together make all the decisions that affect our lives and that we are not part of. The centuries of the nation states of drawing to close. Mark my words, what beckons is a globalist future that is already described using jargon like “stakeholder capitalism” and “public private partnership” and you can call it what you want but, in practice and reality, it’s about the people, you and me, having no say and the banks and the corporations and the government, making all the decisions on our behalf, and for the benefit only of them and ‘to hell’ with us.”

“And now, they think they’ll help themselves to our kids. Even us. I mean, it’s middle-aged men that are fighting the war in Ukraine now. Everybody else is dead or fled the country. So they’re going to help themselves to our kids and to send them into graves in foreign soil, so that the corporate interests of the globalist might be further, sated and satisfied. Whoever goes, whoever is put into uniform and sent; they won’t be fighting for King and country. They’ll be fighting for the City of London and Wall Street and the rest of the money markets.”

“Love of country is a thing of the past as far as establishments are concerned; a primitive ritual now, as far as the globalists are concerned . . . . We’ve been taught that nations are to be regarded with disdain. . . . Our politicians won’t fight for our country. They care not a jot for the country. So why should our children fight for country? And for what? What would they be fighting for exactly, I ask?”

“The first lie about Ukraine was about preserving democracy, and that lie was being trotted out by globalists, who were already treating democracy like a bad joke. And more recently the lie is that “It’s about stopping Putin’s invasion of Europe”. Like, he’s going to go on from Ukraine to Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia. Whatever. It’s nonsense. The truth, as far as I’m concerned, is that the fighting is to keep the Russians away from American bio-labs in Ukraine and they’re fighting to keep open the pipelines that pump money into Ukraine, our money, any money where it might be laundered, and then pumped back into the coffers of the military-industrial complex and the bank accounts of their government and corporate lackeys.”

“What we have to learn in the midst of this time of madness – and I’m talking about the madness of the psychopathic, protected, parasite class – is that groups, entities, go bad; governments go bad; ideologies are twisted and corrupted to the point where they must not be defended or supported any longer, but on the contrary, put right by the people that are supposed to be served. Sometimes you have to step outside of your group, to see it for the corrupted entity that it’s become and take on the responsibility of putting it right, even if you have to try and do it on your own. You know, a single drop of water is how a waterfall starts, and then it becomes the waterfall when enough droplets of water come together and moving in the same direction.”

“We are led, well, we’re misled now, by bad people. Simple: it’s bad people; people who went bad long ago; people who are the inheritors, the successors of other bad people who went before them, who set in train the capture of institutions, the corruption of the ideologies; the move away from nation states; the disregarding of everything that people have valued for generations; culture, traditions, history, identity.”

“The truth to be faced is, there’s another war coming, and the war, the only war that will be worth fighting, will be the war against those corrupt and rotten institutions that have already done unforgivable and unforgettable harm to everything we care about.”

I’ll leave you . . with three quotes:

“If the injustice is part of the necessary friction of the machine of government, let it go, let it go – perchance, it will wear smooth. Certainly the machine will wear out but if it is of such a nature that it requires you to be the agent of injustice to another, then I say break the law, let your life be a counter-friction to stop the machine. What I have to do is to see at any rate that I do not lend myself to the wrong which I condemn.” In Civil Disobedience and other essays. Henry David Thoreau.

And: “Colourful demonstrations and weekend marches are vital, but alone are not powerful enough to stop wars. Wars will be stopped only when soldiers refuse to fight, when workers refuse to load weapons onto ships and aircraft, when people boycott the economic outposts of Empire that are strung across the globe.” – Arundhati Roy in Public Power in the Age of Empire.

And also: “Let us put it generally: If a regime is immoral, its subjects are free from all obligations to it.” Alexander Solzhenitsyn in The Gulag Archipelago.

“I’ll leave it there.”
