Farm Case Study 3: Trefrawl Farm, Cornwall

Trefrawl Farm raises native bred Berkshire pigs in their woodland ‘piggy paradise’ where the pigs can express their natural behaviour. The farm delivers meat boxes to their customers doors. They believe in nose to tail eating with zero waste and package pork in quarter and half carcass boxes.

Farmer, Nicola Hooper says that the current lockdown situation has had a positive business impact with new customers reaching out to them. “There has been little change to our day to day operations but it is a little bit frustrating that there has not been enough supply to meet demand”, she said.
