Pig Business in Northern Ireland
Good news; the planning application for a gigantic factory pig farm in Northern Ireland that was to supply the factory farm giant, Cranswick, has been withdrawn. The stench, disease, cruelty and pollution that would have been caused by the farm were too much even for a planning committee connected by a revolving door to Northern Ireland’s insane ‘Going for Growth‘ plan where factory pig numbers would be doubled, with much of the pork exported and the toxic faeces spread on fields to further pollute the nitrate-saturated soils.
In 2018 we made a 32-minute documentary film in support of local opposition to what would have been the largest factory pig farm in the UK, confining 2,247 sows in barren steel cages, raising 81,000 pigs a year and spreading 66,000 tons of slurry contaminated with antibiotic-resistant bacteria on fields next to people’s houses.The locals pulled out all their skills, contacts and will power – and won.
The Borough Council have announced; ‘In view of the volume of correspondence received to date, neighbouring properties & those who have submitted representations to Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council are asked to regard this advertisement as confirmation of notification that this planning application has been withdrawn.’
Perhaps the true reason the application was withdrawn was that the authorities want us to eat fake lab grown meat and insects instead!
Many large and small scale pig farms have gone out of business so the price of pork is high. If consumers only bought organic or outdoor raised meat, perhaps Cranswick would invest their profits into releasing the pigs from their Red Tractor assured factory farm Bickmarsh Hall Farm in Warwickshire? A whistleblowing report by The Animal Justice Project in March 2023 revealed shocking cruelty and abuse at Bickmarsh. Cranswick suspended its procurement from the farm pending an investigation, but announced a few days later that “the unit was found to be operating to the required standard.”
Dr Alice Brough MRCVS, a former pig veterinarian, viewed the footage. She said: “This farm is the epitome of squalor, and unfortunately represents the norm for a large proportion of Britain’s pig farms.“Pigs are forced to live in filthy, wet, bare concrete pens, completely covered in their own urine and faeces with no respite. These are naturally extremely hygienic animals, and these cramped, dirty and very poorly enriched conditions are undoubtedly causing both physiological and psychological damage.
Claire Palmer, the founder of the Animal Justice Project, said: “Sadly, in this case, cameras don’t lie. Our footage captures the grim reality for pigs on modern-day farms in Britain as pork sales continue to rise.
“Consumers are promised the world when it comes to their food choices, with Red Tractor, which includes 95 per cent of UK pigs under its label, offering public-pleasing assurances and high welfare claims, and corporate responsibility supermarket policies.”
She added: “On Bickmarsh Hall farm, pigs were living in filth and faeces, left to suffer, and confined inside concrete cells. Consumers must now be asking themselves, is a bacon sandwich or pork pie really worth that?”
Food, Farming & Ecocide
Instead of pouring money into arms, the military and continual wars, surely our governments must pay farmers a fair price so that they can nurture the land and the soil, livestock that feed us. In a podcast (at 41 mins) presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jnr asks David Stockman (former Budget Director for Ronald Reagan) for advice about how he can ensure that the employees of arms manufacturing firms remain in work when and if he becomes US President and closes 800 US military bases.
Stockman, “War spending is an economic negative in the long run, it produces no goods or services that are of value to anybody. It is ultimately a form of economic waste. When you stop spending money on waste the economy itself has great powers of adjustment and regeneration.”
My own advice would be to follow the advice of the Prophet Isaiah who urged the people to “beat their swords into ploughshares” and ‘learn war no more’ (700s BC).
In May 2020, when we needed UK workers to help feed Britain to replace the Eastern Europeans who had returned home during the lockdown, Prince Charles urged people to ‘Pick for Britain’. The fact that there were thousands of applicants proves that many people would love to leave their office/factory and work on the land. The fact that they weren’t as fit and fast as the Eastern Europeans is because the UK’s workforce largely live sedentary lifestyles and eat highly processed food, and so would need time to build their health and strength.
How about a newly elected President Robert Kennedy using the £900 billion saved from reducing the defence budget and ending perpetual wars to buy parcels of land, not least surrounding cities, to give to local farmers, buy tools and seeds and employ local people to farm local organic livestock, fruit, grain, veg, mushrooms, herbs, nuts etc for local markets?
In Detroit, when the car factories closed, former employees grew veg. To help pay for the shift, he could switch taxes from ‘goods’ like labour to ‘bads’ like petroleum-driven machines, toxic chemicals and GM seeds. Once industrial farming has lost R&D, subsidies and internalised its true costs, organic and regenerative mixed farms would out-compete them in the marketplace.
Kennedy could also open small abattoirs, small family owned shops, farmers markets, and apps could connect farmers directly with local procurement officers supplying prisons, schools, hospitals, etc, like Richard Osborn’s Dynamic Food Procurement. It is good to see that, as a countryside campaign, CPRE advocates we must place solar panels on roofs, not on our food growing land.

However, in the name of net zero, farmers in many nations are having to reduce the number of animals at the cost of their businesses. Millionaires and global corporations buy up their land to build high energy, high tech and high capital intensive businesses such as vertical farms, insect factories and lab-grown highly processed fake meat from GMO plants.

‘Story at a glance: While the fake meat industry is being touted as an environmentally friendly and sustainable way to feed the world, the true intent is to recreate the kind of global control that Monsanto and others achieved through patented GMO (genetically modified organism) seed development.
- Researchers at the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) warn there are major environmental downsides to lab-grown meat. According to their “cradle-to-gate life cycle” analysis, the lab-grown meat industry produces up to 25 times more CO2 than traditional animal husbandry, which nullifies the core ideological foundation upon which the industry is built.
- Each kilo of cultured meat produces anywhere from 542 pounds (246 kilos) to 3,325 pounds (1,508 kg) of carbon dioxide emissions, making the climate impact of cultured meat four to 25 times greater than that of conventional beef.
- At present, most cultured meat companies still use fetal bovine serum (FBS) as the growth medium, which is obtained from unborn calves that are cut out of the womb and drained of their blood while still alive. Hence, most claims of cultured meat being animal-free or free of animal cruelty, are false.
- Mission Barns is developing imitation bacon made from a mix of cultured meat, cell-cultured pork fat and pea protein. Have the pigs from which the cell samples are taken been treated with mRNA “vaccines,” and if so, is the cultured pork and pork fat safe to eat?’
After many years of litigation by sick people, the mainstream media occasionally exposes the toxicity of Big Ag’s chemical inputs, Big Pharma’s toxic medicines and Big Food’s highly processed junk food. ‘Disturbing’ use of genetic engineering to promote continuous cell growth
‘The production methods used to create lab-grown meat raise a series of human health and food safety concerns, according to Jaydee Hanson and Julia Ranney at the Center for Food Safety (CFS).
They wrote that public patents from companies like Memphis Meats (rebranded as Upside Foods in 2021) and Eat Just (Good Meat) show the companies use growth factors that could promote the development of cancer-like or mutated cells in the lab meat that could be absorbed into the human bloodstream after digestion.
In an interview with The Defender, Hanson said:
“The company also notes that it is using genetic engineering to promote continuous growth of the cells. This is disturbing, in that it is likely that the genes being manipulated can promote cancers.”
He added that “cancer-causing genes should not be used in food production. Food additives that cause cancer are illegal. Unfortunately, the company does not list exactly which genes it is using for genetically engineered cells.”
Speaking on a panel last year that addressed concerns related to lab-grown meat, panellist Michael Hansen, Ph.D., senior staff scientist with Consumer Reports, also questioned the safety of lab-grown meat.
He said the “inputs” used in cell-cultured lab meat are actually “recombinants” — manipulated DNA segments — which is “more complicated and disconcerting” than the genetically engineered products — which have been flagged as dangerous to human health — found in plant-based meats such as the Impossible Burger.
Panellist Tom Neltner, chemicals policy director at the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), said he agreed sustainable sources of protein are needed, but cautioned the products will be “proprietary” and “we won’t know their effect or what they are.”
Panellists also raised concerns about the effects novel ingredients may have on the human microbiome.
According to CFS, cultivator-grown meat has a higher likelihood of bacterial or other pathogenic growth and it doesn’t have the same immunity or ability to excrete toxins that an animal would have because it lacks those systems.
That could make meat grown in bioreactor vats more susceptible to those things unless it is treated with antibiotics or similar treatments. As recently reported by The Defender, it was revealed in 2019 that Memphis Meats was employing CRISPR gene-editing technology as part of its patented process for curating lab-grown meat.
In an October 2022 interview with The Defender, Claire Robinson, managing editor of GMWatch, said CRISPR may have unintended effects that can adversely impact human health.
“Overall, due to the novel nature of lab-cultured ‘meat,’ the lack of transparency from the companies involved, and the myriad potential health risks to consumers, rigorous regulation of this product is vitally important,” CFS wrote.’
Farmers raising livestock on pasture can only compete with factory farmers and cheap imports by grazing excessive numbers of animals. The resulting high concentrations of ammonia from biodegrading faeces and from spreading nitrogen fertiliser are toxic to the soil, flora and fauna, aquatic species and human health.

‘Over 98% of our protected habitats are negatively impacted by high ammonia emissions, but the agricultural model for Northern Ireland continues to promote growth of industrial-style farming.’
‘Planners processing applications for factory farms rely on guidance from DAERA about the potential damage to the environment caused by emissions, called the Operational Protocol.’
‘After years of delay, a Draft Ammonia Strategy Consultation was launched in January 2023 with plans to lower ammonia emissions, but the impact of the proposals were extremely weak. Our response to the consultation showed that even at its most optimistic, the Department estimates the strategy would only reduce ammonia emissions by about 25%. And just 2 SACs (Special Areas of Conservation) would see environmental improvements so that they were no longer above damaging levels.’
In Ireland, farmers on both sides of the border are also under pressure to follow the NetZero CO2 narrative and reduce their livestock numbers and, without any financial support, compete with cheap imports from abroad. The average herd size on dairy farms in Ireland is 83 cows, enough to make a living using family labour and local forage feed. These small farmers are being unfairly penalised in the name of carbon emission reduction by the threat of being forced to kill 65,000 cows per year.

‘Any plan to cull Ireland’s dairy herd must be voluntary”, the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association has warned. “If there is to be a scheme, it needs to be a voluntary scheme. That’s absolutely critical because there’s no point in culling numbers from an individual who has borrowed on the back of a huge financial commitment on the back of achieving a certain target that’s taken from under him.”
‘Up to 65,000 dairy cows a year could be culled as the Government moves to bring the agriculture sector in line with climate targets, according to a report by the Irish Independent.’

This attack on small farmers across Europe is part of the drive towards bringing livestock indoors and to our eating fake meat. We must boycott factory farmed meat both home-produced and imported and only buy pasture fed livestock producers to give them the chance to earn a livelihood with reduced herd numbers.

Smaje, an academic, farmer and author of A Small Farm Future, is one of the few voices to publicly challenge Monbiot on the future of food and farming (and the restoration of nature).
Responding to Monbiot’s portrayal of an urban, high-energy, industrially manufactured food future as the answer to our current crises, and its unchallenged acceptance within the environmental discourse, Smaje was compelled to challenge Monbiot’s evidence and conclusions. At the same time, Smaje presents his powerful counterargument – a low-carbon agrarian localism that puts power in the hands of local communities, not high-tech corporates.

Could anthropocentric contribution to climate change be a smoke screen behind which to reshape agriculture? Are we being given the full facts?
Experts claim that human (anthropogenic) activities are responsible for driving the change but there is another side to the story. The Earth experiences cycles of glacial and interglacial periods where, as a natural course, the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere changes. Scientists believe that the cause of these cycles are due to variations in Earth’s orbit through time, which changes the amount of solar radiation received by the planet. Note that solar radiation introduces non-anthropogenic factors that change climate, and yet climate models used in research today tend to simply focus on the anthropogenic fossil components in the atmosphere that contribute to such change. However, here is a scientific paper that takes the non-fossil components into consideration. Its findings are very different to those that focus on the anthropogenic.

This paper refers to the Glacial-Interglacial Cycles article. Its ‘take home’ message is clear: the cause of global warming is solar radiation.
For those who don’t wish to wade through dense data around the ‘science’ of climate change, I offer pertinent quotes below.
- From the last line of the Abstract:: ‘Our results show that the percentage of the total CO2 due to the use of fossil fuels from 1750 to 2018 increased from 0% in 1750 to 12% in 2018, much too low to be the cause of global warming.’
- Point 9 from the Conclusion: ‘An article on Glacial-Interglacial Cycles (NOAA) suggests that recent increases in CO2 and temperatures are due primarily to cyclic changes of solar radiation associated with Earth’s orbit about the sun. The annual change, DCNF(t), in the non-fossil component has positive increasing values in Table 2 (https://links.lww.com/HP/A210) after 1764. It will eventually become negative in the next glacial period when average temperatures decrease again as they have done over all of the previous glacial-interglacial cycles.’
- Point 10 from the Conclusion: ‘The assumption that the increase in CO2 since 1800 is dominated by or equal to the increase in the anthropogenic component is not settled science. Unsupported conclusions of the dominance of the anthropogenic fossil component of CO2 and concerns of its effect on climate change and global warming have severe potential societal implications that press the need for very costly remedial actions that may be misdirected, presently unnecessary, and ineffective in curbing global warming.’
How Monsanto and others subvert science and journalism, subvert democracy and the political system and get protection for their industry.

Smith; “No GMO in the world has been properly tested. There’s about 30 areas to be studied and about 10% have been studied, but they’ve been done by industry themselves in such a poor way that they are meaningless. No GMO should be on the market right now.”
Farming Today dedicated the week of the 5th of June to promoting gene editing, a form of so-called ‘crop protection’ that in the EU is still classified as gene modification and so banned. Of course here, the 51st state of the USA, England (not Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales) has given the green light to growing this form of GMO.
On the 6th June, Farming Today interviewed experts promoting gene editing with one lone voice to flag up the dangers.
Due to the ignorance of politicians and industry’s PR machine and banksters’ billions invested, the law in the UK has recently changed so that gene edited crops can be developed and marketed with no label, depriving citizens of the right to know what is in their food.
Not happy with their success in getting gene edited crops into our fields, The Royal Society is currently working on a paper looking at what changes could be made to plants by both gene editing and genetic modification (GMO).
Professor Jonathan Jones from the John Innes Centre is confident that GMO precautionary regulations are no longer fit for purpose as gene editing and genetic modification are allegedly going to solve all problems in modern agriculture:
“The public is prepared to accept use of these methods if they have buy-in to the outcomes; reducing social inequality, preventing or curing disease in crops, addressing climate change challenges.”
None of the above can be solved by GM technology but with all the money sloshing into a tech world, there’s a plethora of professors and journalists paid to promote the new technologies in corporate captured journals,
In Farming Today on 10th June, Jim Dunwell, Professor of Plant Biotechnology at Reading University and chair of the Acre Advisory Committee on Releases to the Environment at Defra explained why gene edited food won’t be labelled.
“…labelling is seen as something that is associated with food safety. And to label something that’s equivalent to a conventionally bred product doesn’t make sort of logical or safety sense.”
Farming Today on 10th June, Liz O’Neil from GM Freeze, gave the counter argument. Interestingly, unlike with the pro gene editing experts, Liz was incessantly interrupted by the BBC presenter.
Liz O’Neil; “What GM Freeze objects to is the removal of the safety net provided by long standing regulations that ensure that any release of a genetic engineered organism comes after there’s been some proper safety checks, independent safety checks, and also that it’s traceable, that it’s monitored and that there’s labelling of the end products.”
Presenter; “Gene editing is not the same as genetic modification. It allows researchers to make specific edits to a plant’s DNA. So no new genes are added as they would be in genetically modified plants. So these plants are not treated as novel organisms. They’re considered the same as plants, which would’ve been bred by traditional means according to this legislation. So that’s why they aren’t labelled. So do you object to that?”
Liz O’Neil; “Unfortunately, I’m afraid I object to almost every element of that. These absolutely are novel and you can see legally that they’re novel because they’re subject to patenting…”
Presenter interrupts; “Can I just ask you about that? Because novel is maybe a slightly different term. So you could traditionally breed a plant and still patent that plant.”
Liz O’Neil: “Under much tighter restrictions. There’s much more opportunity for patenting both of the plants and of the techniques themselves. But if you look at the molecular level, these gene editing techniques are extremely invasive. We’re told that they’re not adding genes, but they actually are…”
Presenter interrupts again; “They aren’t adding genes from other organisms into them.”
Liz O’Neil; “CRISPR is genes from other species. They add it into the cell, they set it to work to change the DNA, and then they seek to remove it. The point is that there’s a substantial change to the DNA and we need to have safe…”
Presenter interrupts yet again; “We’ve heard, we’ve heard what you object to, but we don’t know why you object to it.
Liz O’Neil; There’s multiple things that can go wrong because you’re changing the DNA in ways that can be unpredictable. At the food level, we could be talking about novel allergens being introduced and environmental level, it’s ecosystem disruption. And fundamentally, you know, that could ultimately lead to ecosystem collapse because you’re introducing unknown changes.”
Presenter; “Professor Dunwell explained to us that this is the start of using gene editing for many things, including advances in medicine. So is that wrong as well?”
Liz O’Neil; “There’s nothing right or wrong about any technology, it’s the way that society chooses to deploy it”.
Presenter; “Would you say you mustn’t use gene editing for human health?”
Liz O’Neil; “Absolutely not. And I haven’t said you mustn’t use it in farming. What I’m saying is that there needs to be proper regulation and actually the health comparison is a really important one because the level of checks and balances that are in place for the use of genetic technologies in medicine far exceed what’s going on in plants and in the food system.”
Another proponent of GM was interviewed on the 10th June Farming Today about Europe’s first field trial of a gene edited wheat, grown behind steel gates and security fencing at Rothamsted Research Centre in Hertfordshire. The presenter asked Professor Peter Eastman, principal research scientist, if there was a risk that pollen from these crops could escape and contaminate nearby farmers’ fields.
Professor; “We’re very careful in Rothamsted to do our utmost to avoid that occurrence. I mean, there’s no other commercial crop growing anywhere near the plot. It has this barrier around it, which can act as a pollen barrier on this site as well. After the field trial is over, the land is monitored, I believe, for at least two years.”
“I have a barley trial and this trial is for genome edited barley that accumulates a higher oil or lipid content in its leaves and it has a higher metabolised energy content. The crop could be used for animal feed and it would increase the productivity of livestock, but also has potential to suppress methane emissions from ruminant pasture based production.”
Presenter; “Now it’s said that genome editing will increase yields. Is that definitely the case?”
Professor; “It’s certainly one of the targets. And I mean, all the things you can think of in plant breeding could be targets of genome editing, and disease resistance is one, even allergens, knocking those out; all potential targets of gene editing”
Our neo liberal politicians have conveniently forgotten that a few years ago, the public resoundingly rejected franken foods.
The week of the 28th June, Farming Today traced how bacon gets to our plates, what the pig farmer is paid and what traits farmers would look for in their bacon producing herd. I am only going to focus on the BBC’s inevitable inclusion of gene edited pigs as the Precision Breeding Bill has just gone through Parliament. Alistair Driver, editor at the industry publication Pig World explained that the vast majority of production in the UK and globally, is ‘commercially based’ ie factory farmed, using a great deal of technology to come up with pigs that are fast growing. The result of this focus on profits to compete with cheap imports, is the detrimental health of pigs. Inevitably they are sick from breathing biodegrading pig faeces, namely hydrogen sulphide and ammonia. Instead of improving the pigs environment, the industry is looking to genetically engineer the pigs to survive in their toxic environment.
Alastair Driver; “The potential is enormous and the one that we always look to in the pig industry, there is a respiratory disease called PERS that is a globally really damaging disease. Scientifically, they’ve managed to produce pigs that are resistant to the PERS virus, which is an extraordinary step forward. The reality when you talk about the (Precision Breeding) Bill, is that it’s gonna take a long, long time. It’s an England only bill. The focus initially will be on crops. They’re starting the conversation around livestock rearing. But the reality is it’s gonna be a long time (till they gene edit livestock)”
Mexico wants to ban GMOs but the corporate led, so-called ‘free’ trade agreements, can impose massive fines on governments that put up any barrier to trade.

‘In late 2020, the Mexican government announced its intention to ban the import of genetically modified (GM) corn. Citing concerns about health, environmental impact and the cultural importance of corn in Mexico, where the crop originated, the announcement sparked an ongoing trade dispute with the U.S. that has raised questions about food sovereignty, free trade agreements and the role of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in the food system.’
Without labelling, unless you buy organic, you wont know if your food is from a GMO seed or be full of antibiotic residues.
In pig and chicken animal factories, antibiotics are used routinely to keep the animals alive in overcrowded, inhumane and unhealthy conditions. In spite of years of appeals from doctors and health experts, the global factory meat industry, to increase profits, continues to use more antibiotics than are used for humans, causing the emergence of antibiotic resistant diseases such as Campylobacter, Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Salmonella that spread to people.

‘The Polish meat giant SuperDrob is sourcing chicken from factory farms that use medicines classified as “critically important” to human health, despite the grave risk this poses to consumers. SuperDrob sells frozen poultry products to Lidl, Asda and Iceland.’
I despair…nothing has changed since 2011 when, to shine a light on the damage caused by development bank investments in industrialised pig farming, we made a 30-minute documentary film, Pig Business in Ecuador. Big-Ag company Pronaca had recently built 14 pig factories, all on the banks of the rivers that run through the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas where local people had been, and still are, appealing to the government and Pronaca to protect them and their children from skin rashes, stomach illnesses and eye problems caused by the effluent from excessive numbers of pigs that seeps into the water that for generations they have been using daily for washing, drinking and cooking.

‘A report published Monday reveals how multilateral development banks’ financing of factory farms has unleashed significant social and ecological harm in Ecuador, and civil society groups say the banks’ failure to consult or compensate affected Indigenous communities violates Ecuadorian law and their own policies.’
Intro to the Report: ‘CEDENMA, a non-governmental organization that brings together 52 environmental organizations in Ecuador, is deeply concerned that the IFC and IDB Invest’s most recent loans will enable PRONACA to expand its polluting operations, generating new threats to nature, animal welfare, and downstream communities, especially the Indigenous peoples of the province of Santo Domingo. PRONACA has still not provided evidence that it has sufficiently addressed problems documented in a 2009 lawsuit and judgement against the company. Based on interviews and surveys with impacted communities, CEDENMA is also concerned that the banks have not performed due diligence to ensure that PRONACA has addressed the documented harms of its operations, including air and water pollution and related human illness; nor have they conducted required stakeholder consultations, particularly among Indigenou communities. As documented in this report, the rivers into which PRONACA operations empty their effluents and wastewater remain highly contaminated and of little or no use to the Indigenous communities that have relied on them for their livelihoods.’

The World Bank has finally admitted that money going to factory farming and fossil fuels are harming people and the planet.

“If we could repurpose the trillions of dollars being spent on wasteful subsidies and put these to better, greener uses, we could together address many of the planet’s most pressing challenges,” said one official.
The Report says, ‘Subsidies incentivize excessive fertiliser usage to the extent that it suppresses agricultural productivity, degrades soils and waterways, and damages people’s health. More than half of global agricultural production now occurs in regions where fertiliser is suppressing rather than increasing productivity. This means there is significant room to reduce fertiliser use with positive impacts on crop production. Yet the opposite is achieved by subsidies, as excessive fertiliser application is not absorbed by crops and runs off into waterways. Inefficient subsidy usage is responsible for up to 17% of all nitrogen pollution in water in the past 30 years, which has large enough health impacts to reduce labour productivity by up to 3.5%.
Agricultural subsidies are responsible for the loss of 2.2 million hectares of forest per year, equivalent to 14% of global deforestation. Agricultural subsidies in rich countries are driving significant tropical deforestation around the world. For instance, livestock subsidies in the United States drive deforestation in Brazil by increasing the demand for soybeans as feedstock. In turn, subsidy-driven deforestation causes the spread of vector-transmitted diseases—including 3.8 million additional cases of malaria each year, with an economic impact of up to $19 billion per year.
To cut costs, farmers were persuaded to bring their cattle off pasture and into feedlots or barns where they could be fed cheap protein in the form of imported GM soy, mostly grown on deforested land in Argentina and Brazil. Lab meat also requires soy to feed cultured meat made from the muscle cells of cattle. The World Bank and the likes of Bill Gates must stop bribing African countries to grow these chemical intensive monocultures on huge fields depriving local farmers of their livelihoods producing food for local markets. In the UK, the Landworkers Alliance, Pasture for Life, Sustain and Hodmedod have collaborated to produce a report suggesting three scenarios for a soy-free, sustainable, healthy and localised food system.

‘Industrial farming is a primary contributor to global warming, environmental damage and land-use change. While a lot of attention has been given to methane emissions from ruminants, the environmental impacts of the global animal feed supply chain have been obscured, in particular, the role of soy overproduction to feed the industrial pig and poultry sector.’
‘In order to explore the feasibility of replacing soy with alternative feeds, this report models several different scenarios:
The first scenario models replacing soy in UK pig and poultry feed with home-grown legumes. If we were to keep production and consumption of pig and poultry feed the same as it currently is, our modelling demonstrates that UK total cropland for pig feed would need increasing by an estimated 60%, and for poultry feed by an estimated 78%. Within a context of increasing competition over land-use in the UK combined with the need to become more self-sufficient in food production, this is not a realistic option.
The second scenario takes land-use into consideration, and demonstrates that if we were to replace soy with home-grown legumes without increasing total UK cropland area, then we would need to eat 44% less poultry and 41% less pork. However, with such a reduction of protein in our diets as a result of eating less meat, this would not leave enough room to increase production of plant-based proteins such as pulse which would be needed to supplement the loss of protein.
The third scenario not only takes land-use into consideration, but also food-feed competition. It explores what might be possible if current UK cropland area was prioritised for growing pulses for human consumption, and pig and poultry were fed on byproducts and food waste inedible for humans; such as heat treated food waste, insect feed, pasture, and co-products from pulse production.
Thankfully below the BBC is called out for relying on the food industry, (those who profit from our eating ultra-processed food), to be the arbiters of our diet.

‘In April 1994, the CEOs of the US’s seven biggest tobacco companies swore on oath before a Senate committee that nicotine was “not addictive”. At the time it was estimated that 3,000 American children were being induced by said companies to start smoking every day.
Last Monday, the BBC’s Panorama programme came close to repeating that scene with Britain’s food manufacturers. The products at issue are ultra-processed foods (UPF). Their makers’ denial of the harm these products may cause is as adamant as those tobacco execs’ once was, and the consequences could be equally lethal.
As the amount of UPF we eat rises, so do rates of cancer and diabetes. Riddled with additives that are crammed into tiny print on the sides of packs, such food constitutes 57% of Britons’ energy intake. This is the highest in Europe, comparing with 14% in France and 13% in Italy. Being overweight or obese affects 63% of adults in England, among the highest percentage in Europe. There now appears to be incontrovertible evidence that such a diet heightens the risk not just of diabetes and cancer but cardiovascular disease and dementia.’
‘Panorama charted research into emulsifiers, sweeteners such as aspartame and a chemical, PBA, that leaches from plastic containers. In an uncanny replay of the tobacco saga, the programme revealed that while independent research reviewed by the government’s Food Standards Agency (FSA) was overwhelmingly alarming, evidence gathered on the other side was somehow funded by the companies themselves. More glaring was that half the professional members of the committee on toxicity, which provides advice to the FSA, had past or present links to advising food companies. This crucial committee had apparently not advocated banning any food additives in Britain for the past 10 years.
The Panorama documentary did not cover the no-less-vexed issue of trans fats, a food ingredient now banned by many countries, including by the US Food and Drug Administration, as “not generally recognised as safe”. It is estimated that 90,000 Americans a year have been spared an early death as a result of this ban. In 2010, Britain’s then health minister, Andrew Lansley, refused to ban them. (Both he and his special adviser, it was revealed by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, had worked for public relations companies that had represented the food industry.) The nearest a British government has come to action on diet is the modest tax on sugared drinks introduced by David Cameron’s government in 2016.’
Internalising the true cost of cheap meat, we must include the cost on our health of toxic chemicals like the herbicide Atrazine and it’s assault on male sexual development!

‘Atrazine, a herbicide, is the top-selling product for the largest chemical company in the world. Its primary consumer (the United States) boasts the largest economy in the world, and it is used on corn, the largest crop in the United States. One of the primary targets for atrazine is the weed common groundsel (Senecio vulgaris), the most widespread botanical in the world. As a result of its frequent use, atrazine is the most common contaminant of ground, surface, and drinking water.’
‘Atrazine is an endocrine disruptor that demasculinizes and feminizes male amphibians at low but ecologically relevant doses… These data all support the hypothesis that atrazine’s assault on male sexual development is due to the induction of aromatase, consistent with findings in mammals gathered primarily by industry and industry-funded scientists.’

“I think a lot of the problems we see in kids, and particularly boys – it’s probably under-appreciated how much of that is coming from chemical exposures – including a lot of sexual dysphoria that we’re seeing. I mean they are swimming through a soup of toxic chemicals today and many of those are endocrine disruptors. There’s Atrazine throughout our water supply. Atrazine, by the way, if you, in a lab, put Atrazine in a tank full of frogs, it will chemically castrate … every frog in there and 10% of the frogs – the male frogs – will turn into fully viable females able to produce viable eggs. If it’s doing that to frogs, there’s a lot of other evidence that it’s doing it to human beings as well.”
Censorship/Surveillance/Coercion/Corruption

I suggest that the UN read their Sustainable Development Goal number 16 again. It’s about creating open, inclusive institutions and a society in which everyone feels heard. Do they think deploying an army of ‘digital first responders’ to censor or discredit any voice with an opinion other than its own will contribute to this? Perhaps yes, if only within its own narrow and dangerous ideology. And that is precisely why its ideology must so urgently be challenged. I wonder if the digital first responders will agree.’
How did they persuade the obedient to close our naturally inquisitive minds to blindly follow orders?

“Loneliness reached a peak in the early 21st century. Studies from immediately prior to the corona crisis report as much as 40% of the world’s population feeling lonely. The situation has become so dire that in 2018, former British Prime Minister Theresa May, appointed a Minister of Loneliness. Much more recently, in the United States, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy issued an advisory on the dangers of loneliness combined with a new “National Strategy to Advance Social Connection.” But we don’t need to resort to statistics to feel the seriousness of the problem. Get on the train – hardly any words are exchanged between people anymore. Our minds are tethered to a tiny screen – digital connection has replaced the human bond. If you casually greet a passer-by – a once-obvious way of affirming the human bond with no other intention – you will immediately sense the problem and, possibly, an unpleasant reaction in return (an unspoken question of: “What does this idiot want of me?)”.

Against a backdrop of manufactured chaos we are in actual fact being empowered by the insanity of official actions to step away from fear and withdraw support for the entities put in place to enslave us. In this series of articles, I will share some easy steps not only to unplug from the matrix and set oneself free but to agitate and disrupt it so that it loses its power to control others. Julian Assange’s incarceration in the UKs top security prison is a testimony to the government’s objective to deprive us of our right to speak truth to power.

‘Julian Assange’s legal options have nearly run out. He could be extradited to the U.S. this week. Should he be convicted, reporting on the inner workings of power will become a crime.
High Court Judge Jonathan Swift — who previously worked for a variety of British government agencies as a barrister and said his favourite clients are “security and intelligence agencies” — rejected two applications by Julian Assange’s lawyers to appeal his extradition last week.
The extradition order was signed last June by Home Secretary Priti Patel. Assange’s legal team have filed a final application for appeal, the last option available in the British courts. If accepted, the case could proceed to a public hearing in front of two new High Court judges.
If rejected, Assange could be immediately extradited to the United States where he will stand trial for 18 counts of violating the Espionage Act, charges that could see him receive a 175-year sentence, as early as this week.
The only chance to block an extradition, if the final appeal is rejected, as I expect it will be, would come from the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).
The parliamentary arm of the Council of Europe, which created the ECHR, along with their Commissioner for Human Rights, oppose Julian Assange’s “detention, extradition and prosecution” because it represents “a dangerous precedent for journalists.”
It is unclear if the British government would abide by the court’s decision — even though it is obligated to do so — if it ruled against extradition, or if the U.K. would extradite Assange before an appeal to the European court can be heard.’

- The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), England and Wales’ public prosecutor, has deleted all records of its former head Keir Starmer’s trips to the US, it can be revealed.
Starmer served as Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) from 2008-13, a period when the body was overseeing Julian Assange’s proposed extradition to Sweden to face questioning over sexual assault allegations.
Starmer, who became an MP in 2015, is now leader of the Labour Party. Assange, meanwhile, faces imminent extradition to the US to face up to 175 years in prison under charges mostly related to the US Espionage Act.’
Last Saturday I joined scores of people in Parliament Square to protest against Julian Assange’s 4th year in Belmarsh high security prison, London. Only between 1-3pm was permission granted to place Davide Dormino’s ‘Anything to Say?’ bronze statues of Julian Assange, Chelsea Manning and Edward Snowden. Each hero is standing on a brass chair, with a 4th empty chair for members of the public to stand on to join these warriors and have their say about why Julian Assange should be free.
While standing on the 4th chair Stella Assange said;
“I’m getting asked, where are we at? Well, we’re really at the end game now. The fight is on. This is my message. Yes, the legal avenues have narrowed dramatically, but we were ready for this. Right? We know what kind of battle we’re fighting. A political battle, a fight against injustice, where people are speaking out, witnessing this injustice and giving it a name, is what will stop it.
This statue here today has this message; ‘Anything to Say’ These three men are everyman. Yes. They witnessed injustice and they spoke up, and we need to speak up just like they did. Definitely. Because that’s what makes us human. By gagging them, by imprisoning them, by punishing them, they’re punishing all of us because they told us what we needed to know about injustice being carried out in our name against us.
Julian depends on each and every one of you, every person you can speak to, to inform them, to move them into understanding what’s at stake. And what’s at stake is democracy itself. The case against Julian goes to the heart, the fundamentals of what it means to live in an open democratic society where we can challenge authority, where we can speak up whether we are right or wrong.
We have to be able to speak, to refine our ideas, to be able to be challenged. And just because there are people in positions of authority, they’re abusing their authority. They’re abusing the legislation, they’re abusing the surveillance tools that have been developed over the last decade or so. And they’re abusing the coercive powers of the state, physical and digital, to prevent you from speaking out.
We’re losing our rights. Julian’s case is caught up in a trajectory in which we are all losing our rights. And the right to freedom of speech is at the centre of all our democratic rights. It underpins everything. We will lose all our rights if we lose the freedom of speech. And Julian’s case is the most righteous case of freedom of speech today, in our generation, in this century.
We have to free him. His life depends on it. But all, our lives and our liberties also depend on it. Thank you. FREE JULIAN ASSANGE.

‘Johnson revealed the devastation caused not only to his life but that of his family by what is now regarded by some MPs as a state-level cover-up, followed by a whole series of miscarriages of justice.’
‘Jailed for four years for “manipulating” interest rates, Johnson was released in 2018 after serving two years. He was later revealed to be one of the original whistleblowers of the scandal.’
“[But] this is too important to forget – to sweep under the carpet. People need to know and once they know the full facts, they can make their judgements on whether what people did was wrong or right.”
‘From 2007 to 2009, Johnson repeatedly alerted the US central bank and the Bank of England to other banks publishing false, low estimates of the interest rates they’d have to pay to borrow hundreds of millions of dollars at a time – so-called “lowballing”.
‘He tried to publish higher, more honest estimates, but kept getting instructions from above to be no more honest than any other bank. Leaked audio recordings indicate the pressure on Johnson to lie came first from the board of Barclays, then from the Bank of England, then from the UK government.’
The truth is seeping out through social media giving Robert Kennedy Jnr. a fighting chance to become the next President of the USA.

In December 2022, Twitter CEO Elon Musk released internal documents detailing censorship, blacklisting, and other practices to silence Matt Taibbi and other journalists. Matt discusses the Twitter files and censorship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Taibbi; “In the beginning they (the Senate Intelligence Committee) had a very particular objective about establishing a narrative about Russian disinformation, the influence of Russian, “Russian bots” on the platforms. In 2017, they asked Facebook and Twitter to give them a report about how many Russian bots were on the platform, how many were linked to the Internet Research Agency in St. Petersburg. When Twitter didn’t give them a number that was big enough, there was all this negative feedback from the Hill, from the Senate Intelligence Committee. And I think initially they were just trying to get a foot in the door about that issue. But over time, it seems like they had a lot of opinions about a lot of things, and they were sort of quietly recommending that Twitter take action on accounts about all sorts of things. Everything from pro Maduro accounts in Venezuela, to the Yellow Vest movement, to leftist movements in Africa, to populist movements involving Brexit, or the Catalan independence movement.
That really spanned the entire spectrum. They weren’t demanding that the platforms were taken down, but when you get a spreadsheet with a thousand account names on it, and we were looking and seeing that a lot of them weren’t active, you can draw your own conclusions.”
Kennedy; “At the beginning of the pandemic, before they de-platformed me at Instagram, which is my major vector for talking to the public, there were a lot of articles that suggested that the things that I was posting at that time, were coming from Russia, and that they were part of a big Russian disinformation campaign. That was puzzling to me because I had no information from Russia. But do you think that was just a prescribed narrative that somebody decided, “this is how we’re going to attack, we’re gonna blame everything on Russia?”
Taibbi; “Yeah. In fact, we found internal documents about the construction of what they call a denial list at Twitter, which is when they have tools called, ‘visibility filtering’, where they can basically amplify you all the way down to not visible at all. And they can have everybody see you if they want. If they want to deify you, they put you on what they call ‘a denial list’. And we found a denial list called Russian. Basically that just meant you had opinions that coincided with what they called Russian propaganda. So people like Jill Stein were marked. ‘is Russian’, WikiLeaks was marked, ‘is Russian’. And that over time we found that this was a habit that when they wanted to mark something as ‘unseeable’ or ‘wrong’ or ‘foreign disinformation’, there would always be an implication of Russian-ness layered on top of it.”
In the catch-all name of ‘national security’, the EU has cracked down ever harder on journalists’ right to protect their sources.

‘France, Germany and the Netherlands are among the governments pushing for an exemption in new EU law which would give states power to monitor journalists’ electronic communications.’
‘It is indispensable for critical and independent reporting that journalists can protect themselves and their sources from surveillance, including surveillance by state authorities. That is why article 4 of the draft EU law explicitly prohibits coercive measures against journalists to reveal their sources, as well as the monitoring of their communications and the use of spyware on their computers and phones.’
‘But in the Council of the EU, where representatives of the 27 EU governments negotiate in camera, the French government demanded that article 4 be reversed. Spying on journalists and the use of spying software against them should indeed be allowed – if justified by “national security”.’

‘The BBC – who attended government meetings at which so-called misinformation was discussed – was accused of acting as “the broadcast arm of the Government” during the pandemic, as journalists described being mocked if they tried to give a voice to lockdown sceptics.’
‘Current and former BBC staff have told the Telegraph that, during the pandemic, a “climate of fear” existed within the corporation among those who argued that its reporting lacked balance, saying they were branded “dissenters’.
‘Three journalists who gave evidence to a parliamentary group in private last year told the Telegraph they were ignored when they raised their concerns about impartiality with senior managers. And if we start reducing that down and you get to about 0.02% of the carbon, plants die and if plants die, then animals feeding those plants die. And we’ve been recommended that we should be eating more plants. But if you are going to actually reduce the gas, that is the gas of life that grows plants, guess who eats the carbon? Who’s going to be reduced on this planet?
Guess who is not going to be here to eat the mealworms and the synthetic burgers? Yeah, it’ll be us. So this is an incredibly dangerous and suicide policy in my humble opinion…
So my question to you is, has King Charles committed treason King Charles ? And if he has, well, we know what happened. King Charles, II, it didn’t end well with him. And I have a sneaky feeling that once the people wake up, this may not end well for King Charles III because when people realise they’re being pushed into a Communist Chinese type situation with carbon credits, I think they might turn around on the Monarch and say, do you know what,

Farage; “… two months ago, I get a phone call out of the blue from a personal manager, a new personal manager, not one had ever spoken to before, who simply says on a phone call, we are closing your accounts.
I asked why – no reason was given. I was told it would all be explained in a letter that would arrive in a couple of days time. The letter just told me the accounts are closing, and please by the date they gave me, make sure you’ve moved to another bank.
I did inquire further within the group. I sent an email to the chairman and I got someone ring me up and say, it’s purely a commercial decision. ….. I’ve tried for two months to get another bank account and I’ve spoken to seven different banks and they’ve all said no. And the reason is it would seem to be political. I don’t know precisely what the reason is, but there is a category of person called a PEP, a politically exposed person. It was a term that came into our law as a result of our membership of the European Union.
… I’m pretty used to prejudice, prejudice that comes from the establishment against me.
I also worried very much that what was said in the House of Commons last year by Chris Bryant, member of Parliament for South Wales, Labour member chairman of the Privilege C Prejudice Committee, who used parliamentary privilege to say that, in a calendar year, I’d received half a million pounds from the Kremlin. This was done under parliamentary privilege. I appealed to the speaker, I appealed to Mr. Bryant, but there’d been no retraction whatsoever ever.
There’ve also been extraordinary headlines written about me in all of the newspapers. Some suggesting that on the night of the Brexit referendum, I engineered a coup along with the hedge funds where we pushed the pound up, shorted it, and we all made a fortune. Well, we’re afraid that isn’t true either. Whatever reason, it’s become clear to me that I cannot get a bank account. Well, what does that mean? Well, it means basically you’ve become a non person. It’s rather like living in Germany or Russia 80 years ago, or perhaps even communist China today.

… But what’s even worse is that over the course of the last few months, some of these ridiculous rules and closures have been extended to my immediate family. And whilst I’m sad and annoyed about where I am, I’m absolutely incandescent that members of my family should be singled out and targeted just because I campaign for and pushed a Brexit campaign for all of those years.
This is truly an utterly disgusting, but it isn’t just happening to me. I know of people going back nearly 10 years who were UKIP candidates, UKIP MEPS, others in prominent positions in the Brexit party, who also had their bank accounts closed, but none of them had the voice to speak out. I feel that I do. There are other people in media too who’ve had their media accounts closed down, and it seems to be all one way. It seems to be all against people who have traditionalist or conservative views. …I could go to one of the fintechs and I could get the ability of at least a payments mechanism, but it’s not a bank account. It doesn’t have a debit card. It wouldn’t pay you interest on money, and you certainly wouldn’t be able to borrow any money or get a mortgage if you wanted one in the future. So I’ve been seriously considering my options, and I said earlier on today that at seven o’clock tonight, I’d tell you what my next steps were.
Well, you could knock me down with a feather because the phone rang at quarter to seven, and it was the bank that wants to close me down completely in a few weeks time. They claim there’s nothing political at all in what they’re doing. It’s purely a commercial decision. And it was said to me on the phone a few minutes ago, they could get me a personal account with another bank that is part of the same group, but that doesn’t apply to the business account. So frankly isn’t of much used to me. I’m used to battling against the odds.
Unless this rot is stopped in time to come, you at home may say things on Facebook or Twitter that may result in you losing your bank accounts too. That I think is how scary this whole thing is.”
Russia/China Conflicts
Because the Stop the War Coalition banner for their 8 July march demands ‘Russian Troops Out’ I will not join the march; I do not agree that Russian troops should leave Ukraine as a condition for peace negotiations. This Russian incursion into Ukraine was provoked. Ukrainian fascist militia had been amassing at the West Donbas border ready to take back Crimea and ethnically cleanse the area of the Russians who the Nazis hate. 90 % of the residents of the Donbas are ethnically Russian and had been suffering and dying from terrorist attacks by Ukrainian Nazi militias supported by NATO for 8 years. They were imploring Putin to integrate the Donbas region into Russia to end their persecution. This proxy war is about bringing Russia to its knees so Blackrock, the banksters and corporations they fund/control, can plunder Ukraine and Russia’s resources. By enriching their economy, they can continue the US forever war strategy to subjugate the world into its so-called ‘rules based order’. These grounds for intervention are far more compelling grounds than the US and UK had to invade Iraq and Syria, than Britain had for the military occupation of N Ireland, or than Britain and France had for the unprovoked destruction of Libya and the murder of Gadaffi. The silver lining is that when the world removes its trade from the dollar, America, the world’s most evil despot, will be deprived of its war billions and so accept a multipolar world and cooperate with other powers to help bring peace, prosperity and justice.

A central role of war propaganda is to stop people trying to understand why wars happen. This is a very deliberate policy. As we shall see, foreign policy officials rake over the potential causes and consequences of wars in immense detail in internal documents and discussions. In public however, wars are justified in the simplest possible terms, normally as a response to ‘senseless’ foreign aggression.
For supporters of the Western war effort in Ukraine any attempt by critics to put the war into a historical context is virtually treasonable. From the get-go, President Biden made clear that the Russian invasion must be seen as a completely isolated, inexplicable act of evil, insisting in his first speech after the invasion, ‘the Russian military has begun a brutal assault on the people of Ukraine without provocation, without justification, without necessity.’
In Britain, the whole of the media, almost the whole of the political class and a shockingly large part of the left has gone along with this nonsense. As a result, people trying to get to grips with underlying causes are dismissed either as Putin apologists or conspiracy cranks, and often both.
Just as important, this domestic conflict broke out against the background of a historic shift eastward by NATO that began soon after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Thirteen eastern European countries have joined NATO in the last three decades. At the Bucharest Summit in 2008, a promise was made that both Ukraine and Georgia would have the chance to join too. All this despite assurances by senior western politicians including the US Secretary of State James Baker to Russia’s president Gorbachev that NATO would not move into the area. According to the records, James Baker promised NATO would not move eastwards three times in one meeting with Gorbachev in 1990.
Apologists for the war are so desperate to bury this history that they flatly deny that the promises were made, despite the fact that a one-minute online search reveals they are repeatedly written into the record of the US National Security Archive. Politicians and commentators regularly attack people in the anti-war movement for pointing to any of this history.

They seem to have shot down one Russian aircraft that we know about. There’s rumours they shot down some helicopters as well, so there’s possible murder charges hanging over Prigozhin as well which we mustn’t overlook. Potentially, if he decides to return to Russia, and does so without permission, then he could be facing treason charges as well. The Wagner organisation is to be completely absorbed into the Russian military. We’re getting reports now that all the heavy weapons they had are now being transferred to the control of the Russian regular military. The Wagner Force itself is going to be absorbed into the Russian military as such. On Russian territory it will cease to exist. There is this rump of, some people say four, others say six, others say 8,000, fighters that followed Prigozhin in this adventure. This is 8,000 out of a total force of thirty two thousand, so about a quarter of the men participated. But most of them didn’t. Anyway that rump of around 8,000, they’ve been given a choice, they can either stay in Russia, return to civilian life, or they can follow Prigozhin into Belarus, and there’s again word that the Belarusian authorities are preparing camps for them, and if they go to Belarus they will basically fall under Lukashenko’s Control.”

‘We now know that the chronically unstable Prigozhin’s revolt fizzled out within a day, as he fled to Belarus, with a no-prosecution guarantee, and his mercenary army was mingled into the Russian army. There was no march on Moscow, nor was there a significant threat to Putin’s rule.
Pity the Washington columnists and national security correspondents who seem to rely heavily on official backgrounders with White House and State Department officials. Given the published results of such briefings, those officials seem unable to look at the reality of the past few weeks, or the total disaster that has befallen the Ukraine military’s counter-offensive.

It’s now become absolutely clear to me that it’s not going to get either or at least not in any remotely acceptable timeframe so far as the Ukrainians are concerned…
Now, I suspect that the Polish and Lithuanian leaders are there (in Vilnius Lithuania) basically to try to sugar the pill for Zelensky to try to explain to him that all these promises of NATO and EU membership are not going to be fulfilled. And they’re now trying to find some means to keep the Ukrainians fighting because this is now what this is all becoming, and they’re holding out a whole alternative set of promises…
I think the Poles and Lithuanians do not want to get drawn into this war. Some people perhaps still do, but I think overall the mood has swung against that idea. So, what’s left is this very vague talk of some kind of security assurances to Ukraine, some kind of guarantees… Blinken wants to go much further. He’s talking about supporting Ukraine in the same way that the United States supports Israel, because Israel has its own backstops because it’s a nuclear weapons power, which up to this point, Ukraine is not.”
Just as we armed the fundamentalist Mujahideen to fight our war in Afghanistan and ISIS in Syria, now we are arming Ukrainian Nazis.

‘In November, during a meeting with Times reporters near the front line, a Ukrainian press officer wore a Totenkopf variation made by a company called R3ICH (pronounced “Reich”). He said he did not believe the patch was affiliated with the Nazis. A second press officer present said other journalists had asked soldiers to remove the patch before taking photographs.’

‘They were hunting our kids, and we were hiding them around the buildings,” a man named Evgeny said. “We had been hiding our kids for a whole month. It was freezing cold. My wife was pregnant then. Another boy was hiding with his mom.’
‘According to Sergey, some of the media paid Ukrainian forces to shell. “They needed a picture. They paid to claim that the Russian army were shelling. Sometimes we would hear them outside laughing ‘Oh, its so good what we filmed today!”

‘A MintPress investigation has found that a host of Western government officials, intelligence agents and assets have been directly involved in intimate collaboration with Nazi groups and individuals since at least 2014. This has included involvement in creating and operating the Nazi-run kill list in Ukraine, which MintPress revealed recently.
While Western media have belatedly been forced to concede that there are Nazi influences in Ukraine, many journalists have insisted that the visible fascist patches on uniforms are only there to troll Russians and that they are insignificant and a gift to Russian propaganda. Still, other journalists admit to asking Ukrainian service members to cover up their Nazi symbols. Yet, as we shall see, this collaboration goes much further.
Perhaps a good place to start is with the ongoing role of a key intelligence-linked official who has taken on a propaganda role on behalf of Ukraine since the launch in February 2022 of what the Russian government calls its “Special Military Operation.” Meet Cormac Smith, a member of the first Irish bobsleigh team to qualify for the Winter Olympics in 1992. He has appeared in scores of news reports passing on Western propaganda talking points about the role of Russia in Ukraine. But who is Smith working for?
According to his own account, he is a “private citizen” supporting “Ukraine/global freedom.” Yet until December 2018, he was the deputy director of communications for the British Cabinet Office – the official body responsible for supporting the prime minister. He was also previously attached to the UK Foreign Office as the strategic communications advisor to the foreign minister of Ukraine.’
Who is he working for today?
Last May, The Irish Independent claimed that Smith is “an unlikely key player in the information war,” who “estimates he has given about 100 TV, radio and print interviews with the international media in the past few months to tell Kyiv’s side of the story.” Smith has a nice line in outrageous propaganda gambits, claiming that Russians are the actual Nazis and that they murder, rape and pillage, including the rape of children.
As it turns out, the source of many of the allegations of rape – including multiple alleged cases of rape to death of children – was the Ukraine parliamentary commissioner for human rights, Lyudmila Denisova. Her evidence was alleged to be a helpline set up to report allegations of human rights abuses. Her tales were too much even for the Ukrainian government, which dismissed her at the end of May 2022.’
‘The U.S.-backed coup of February 2014 came after significant Western involvement in Ukrainian politics. The Maidan “uprising” began in November 2013, and the government was replaced by February 2014.
This ushered in a substantial Western effort to advise the government on propaganda and “strategic communications” as well as extensive training of both military and civilian forces in the information and influence operations favoured by NATO, the U.S. and the U.K. The evidence is that some of that advisory effort had already started in 2012 – well before the coup.
In 2015, a leaked PowerPoint file titled “Free Russia,” said to be from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, stated there was “co-operation” with two NATO groups (StratCom and Cyber Defense Centers of Excellence); three American groups (U.S. Special Operations Command, U.S. Cyber Command and Psyops); and two British units (the 15th (U.K.) Psyops and 77th Brigade).’

‘On June 17, during a meeting with a number of African leaders and delegates who came to Moscow to offer a solution that would end the Ukrainian conflict, Russian President Vladimir Putin made a shocking revelation and even gave details of a March 2022 peace deal with the Kiev regime. The agreement, titled the “Treaty on the Permanent Neutrality and Security Guarantees for Ukraine” (negotiated with the mediation of the Turkish government), was actually signed by the Kiev regime.
However, the Neo-Nazi junta decided to discontinue its compliance with the treaty as soon as Russia kept its own initial end of the bargain.
Apart from other, more technical details, the deal included a clause that was supposed to be one of the key points of the Ukrainian Constitution and that would guarantee the country’s permanent neutrality. The very fact that Russia was insisting on this makes the claims that Moscow allegedly wanted to “conquer Ukraine” a moot point. In return for neutrality, the Russian military was to pull out and effectively end the special military operation (SMO). To back up his claims, President Putin also presented the relevant documentation of the abortive peace deal to the African delegates.’

In this article, I will be focussing on the NeoCon agenda, largely inspired by The Project for the New American Century (PNAC).
The Neocons exert control over foreign policy. They are involved in bribing and manipulating politicians and decision-makers. They have played a key role in defining nuclear doctrine on behalf of powerful financial interests.
The PNAC has called for establishing “Superiority in Nuclear Weapons” (applied to Russia) coupled with a profit-driven expansion of the military-industrial complex.
The NeoCon agenda, as formulated by the PNAC (2000), follows in the footsteps of the Cold War “Truman Doctrine.” In the words of George Kennan:
“The day is not far off when we are going to have to deal in straight power concepts. The less we are then hampered by idealistic slogans, the better”
The NeoCons are not intent upon “winning the war”.
Their agenda is to “destroy countries”.
It is a profit-driven agenda: “destruction” leads to “reconstruction”. What is at stake is the engineered economic and social destruction of sovereign nation-states. The creditors are there to “pick up the pieces” and “appropriate real wealth”.

The winners are people like Secretary of State, Tony Blinken, who spent his time between the Obama and Biden Administrations launching a consulting firm called Westec Exec Advisors, which secured lucrative government contracts for intelligence firms in the arms industry.
Blinken former partners at West Exec include Director of National Intelligence, Avril Haynes, CIA deputy Director David Cohen, former White House Press secretary, Jen Psaki, and almost a dozen current and former members of Biden’s National Security Team Defense Secretary, Lloyd Austin for his part as a former and possibly future member of board member of Raytheon, and an ex-partner of Pine Island Capital Investment, which collaborates with West Exec and which Blinken himself has advised.
Meanwhile, the current US ambassador to this body, the un Linda Thomas Greenfield, is listed as a senior council at the Albright Stonebridge Group, a self-described commercial diplomacy firm that also finesses government contracts for the intelligence and arm sector, and which was founded by Madeline Albright, infamously known for her comments that the debts by sanctions of half a million Iraqi children were worth it. So while military age, Ukrainian men are ripped off the streets by military police and sent to the front lines, the financially and politically connected architects of this proxy war are planning to walk through the revolving door to reap unimaginable profits once their time in the Biden administration is over.
For them, a negotiated settlement to this territorial dispute means an end to the cash cow of close to 150 billion in USAID to Ukraine. So in closing, when the United States, my country, a permanent member of this council, has fallen under the control of a bipartisan regime, which seeks to perpetuate a proxy war for as long as it takes.
In the words of Joe Biden, which considers diplomacy synonymous with unilateral course of measures to turn the ruble to rubble as Biden pledged to do, whose leadership subverts negotiations in order to pursue profit while refusing to properly inform its own citizens what they’re paying for, and pushes the sons and brothers of its supposed Ukrainian partners out onto a killing field in order to bludgeon a geopolitical rival. When both Zelensky and members of US Congress are calling for preemptive strikes on Russia, which have nothing to do with Article 51 of the UN Charter, this council must take action to enforce that charter.
That charter is clear that the Security Council must use its authority to guarantee a Pacific settlement of dispute, particularly when it threatens international security that should not only apply to Russia and Ukraine. This council has an obligation to strictly monitor and restrain the US and the illegal military formation known as NATO’.

“This flooding, (due to the attack on the dam) is primarily impacting what they call the left bank of the Dnieper River. That’s where the Russians had built the fortifications; they had extensive minefields; they had entrenchments etc. Those are all flooded; they’re gone. So, why would Russia build a network of defences, only flood it out? The Russians were using the reservoir that was north of the dam as a water barrier to hold the Ukrainians back. By blowing up the dam you’re draining this barrier, making it actually easier for the Ukrainians to cross the river and when you use the water as a barrier that means that you’ve Incorporated that into your defensive plan. By eliminating that barrier, it means the potential for Russia’s defences in that area, of being inadequate to the task of defending against the concerted Ukrainian attack is real.
So Russia doesn’t benefit from this militarily. From the standpoint of the economy, two things: One: this will severely impact water supplies to the Crimean Peninsula. The Crimean Peninsula operates on a canal that’s fed by the river and the disruption of the flow of this river will impact that, so it’s going to severely reduce the amount of water available to the Crimea. This is after Russia made a point of reopening this canal and getting the water flowing back in, so again that’s Russia shooting itself in the foot for doing this. (Two:) It also has a potential detrimental impact on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant when Russia is in the business of trying to convince the world that this plant is safe. That continued operation under Russian control is in the best interest of the world. Why would it create the conditions that allows the world to question the safety of this plant?
Now, everything I just said means that it is Ukraine that benefits the most from this (dam) conflict and there’s an additional aspect to this: There’s a lot of Ukraine fatigue right now the world is just tired of Ukraine, tired of funding Ukraine. There’s been talk about this counter-offensive. I’m sure we’ll talk about that in a minute but it’s not going to succeed and the world knows it’s not going to succeed. Ukraine knows it’s not going to succeed. So, what Ukraine needs is a catastrophic event that rallies international support around Ukraine by blaming Russia for something big. And, already Ukraine is talking about taking this issue to the Security Council of the United Nations and using it as a mechanism to get more sanctions imposed on Russia.”

“We don’t want the conflict to end, as a country,” Varlay continued, noting, “the longer this goes on, the weaker Russia is.”
Varlay also boasted about his employer’s control of the political system. “It’s not who the president is, it’s who’s controlling the wallet of the president,” he declared, clarifying that it was “the hedge funds, BlackRock, the banks” who “run the world.”
“All these financial institutions, they buy politicians. You can take this big f***ton of money and then you can start to buy people,” he said, explaining that senators were “f***ing cheap, you got 10 grand you can buy a senator.” The US government also needs BlackRock to run its financial simulations, he said.
Admitting BlackRock “[does] not want to be on the radar,” Varlay suggested that “It’s easier to do things when people aren’t thinking about it.” He appeared briefly suspicious of the reporter’s motives: “you’re like an undercover reporter,” he said, arguing “normal people” were uninterested in her lines of questioning – but continued to boast about his role in “decid[ing] people’s fates.”’

‘The US Congress held a hearing titled “Dollar Dominance: Preserving the U.S. Dollar’s Status as the Global Reserve Currency”, while countries around the world are joining the de-dollarization rebellion against Washington’s exorbitant privilege’.
‘The US Congress held a hearing to discuss the growing international movement toward de-dollarization. Numerous lawmakers expressed concern over what they referred to as mounting “threats” to the “supremacy” of the dollar, warning that China and Russia are challenging the US-dominated international financial system.
Economists invited to testify in the session cautioned that Washington’s aggressive imposition of unilateral sanctions has backfired, weakening dollar dominance by encouraging targeted countries to develop new, alternative financial institutions.
Titled “Dollar Dominance: Preserving the U.S. Dollar’s Status as the Global Reserve Currency”, the June 7 hearing was organized by the House of Representatives Financial Services Committee’s Subcommittee on National Security, Illicit Finance, and International Financial Institutions.
The tone of the two-hour event was deeply schizophrenic. Speakers would triumphantly argue that the dollar remained unbeatable, that its hegemony was inevitable and natural, before a few minutes later complaining that foreign adversaries are conspiring to undermine it.
A neoconservative political economist who spoke, Daniel McDowell, boasted of how the dollar is “the king of all currencies” and “a powerful symbol of American financial royalty”.
Michael Faulkender, who served as Donald Trump’s assistant secretary of the Treasury for economic policy, declared in the session, “As assistant secretary, I told my team that the Treasury secretary proudly states that the dollar will never not be the world’s reserve currency, and our job is to make sure that’s true”.
Representative Monica de la Cruz, a Republican from Texas, said dismissively, “Now this hearing comes at a critical time when some academics and naysayers are spreading theories that de-dollarization has begun, and that the beginning of the end has arrived for the dollar’s dominant role as a global reserve currency”.
The session was chaired by Republican Representative Blaine Luetkemeyer, a hard-line anti-China hawk from Missouri.
“The conversation around the dollar being the reserve currency is becoming louder and louder, as we have more and more I think threats to it”, he cautioned. Luetkemeyer boasted of the many “economic advantages” that dollar hegemony gives to the United States:
“The US dollar has been the preferred global currency since the end of World War Two, providing our nation inherent economic advantages, as well as responsibilities.
Today, an estimated 88% of all currency transactions by value are conducted in US dollars. Among other things, this limits the risk of a balance of payments crisis, which inherently lowers our exchange rate risk.
The dollar’s position also allows the United States and Americans to borrow at rates such as 50 to 60 basis points lower.
Our currency strength not only benefits the United States government, but also helps American consumers by lowering the price of imported goods, resulting in an estimated $25 to $45 billion a year in savings.”

“Until an infectious disease crisis is very real, present and at the emergency threshold, that is often largely ignored, to sustain the funding based beyond the crisis”, he said, “we need to increase the public understanding for the need for medical countermeasures such as a pan influenza or pan coronavirus vaccine. A key driver is the media and the economics will follow the hype. We need to use that hype to our advantage to get to the real issues and investors will respond if they see profit at the end of the process”.
Sounds like public health? Sounds like the best of humanity? No. Ladies and gentlemen, this was premeditated domestic terrorism stated at the proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences in 2015, published in front of them. This is an act of biological and chemical warfare perpetrated on the human race. And it was admitted to, in writing, that this was a financial heist and a financial fraud. “Investors will follow if they see profit at the end of the process”. Let me conclude by making five very brief recommendations. Nature was hijacked. This whole story started in 1965 when we decided to hijack a natural model and decide to start manipulating it.
Science was hijacked when the only questions that could be asked were questions authorised under the patent protection of the CDC, the FDA, the NIH, and their equivalent organisations around the world. We didn’t have independent science, we had hijacked science. And unfortunately, there was no moral oversight in violation of all of the codes that we stand for. There was no independent, financially disinterested independent review board ever impanelled around coronavirus. Not once, not once, not since 1965.
We do not have a single independent IRB (Independent Review Board) ever impanelled around coronavirus. So morality was suspended for medical countermeasures, and ultimately humanity was lost because we decided to allow it to happen.
Our job today is to say, no more gain of function research, period. No more weaponization of nature, period. And most importantly, no more corporate patronage of science for their own self-interest unless they assume 100% product liability for every injury and every death that they maintain.”
While I have found no evidence proving that Dr Buttar was murdered except the video with him saying that he’d been poisoned 2 months after his CNN interview. He died in hospital after airing the video below.

“There is something that is of a critical nature that we all need to be aware of and this is similar to back in February of 2020. I feel like it’s almost a deja vu because that’s when I first started talking about this and the rest ended up – unfortunately, I wish I’d been wrong, but most of it has transpired since then.
The question that I was always asked is, what do you think about this second wave that they’re talking about? Do you think that there’ll be a second wave? And I said, of course there’s gonna be a second wave, but it’s not gonna be from the virus. Of course, it’s not gonna cause Covid, but the science is clear that it causes a disruption in the vaulted, gated calcium channels causing a permeability to many different pathogens, especially in velt viruses, of which coronavirus is one of those types, but for any type of pathogen.
So essentially what appears to be coming down the pipeline, is that what has been introduced within the vaccines as we know them, the Covid vaccines, regardless of the type they have introduced into individuals through these vaccines and the subsequent boosters, other components.
We have all heard of some of these components. There’s talk about the nanotechnology, there’s of course the spike protein. There are all these different things that have been found. There’s been the graphene oxide, graphene hydroxide. There’s been all sorts of different things that have been found within these vaccines and still things that we haven’t discovered. I know that about a year ago, they found Roundup. Okay, that’s glyphosate, that’s a weed killer in the vaccines. Now is roundup, a weed killer, doing inside of vaccines?
I had suspicions that they’re introducing something into the vaccines that are designed to cause a detrimental effect at a time when they want the detrimental effect to take place.
Meaning that it’s almost like a sleeper cell within your own body. It’s there, you don’t know it’s there, there’s no effect from it. But then it can be called upon or triggered based upon any type of signal or chemical or maybe too inert, relatively innocuous ingredients. But when they come together, they cause something to happen.
And that would be the trigger, if you will, that would cause the sleeper cells within your body to awaken.”

Speaker 6 “So many patients I see are literally sitting in front of the television and absorbing everything to tell them, stay home, don’t be with your family, don’t be with your friends. Isolate, hibernate. It’s really taken its toll.”

After listening to a Joe Rogan podcast with RFK, Dr. Peter Hotez a well-known Texas-based scientist and paediatrician, complained that RFK was giving ‘vaccine misinformation’. Joe Rogan then challenged the doctor to come on his show to debate with RFK and, as a reward, offered $100,000 to go to the charity of Dr Hotez’ choice. But still, the doctor would not come, in the meantime, others added more donations, so that the total that the doctor would earn for his favourite charity was over $2 million, but still he refused to debate.
The incident spurred numerous articles and discussions across media.

At last, a mainstream news giant, The Times, has published something that explains a lot, but not all, of the wicked stupidity of the last 3 years: Scientists at the Wuhan lab were working on ‘gain of function’ – and the virus came from there.

‘Baric was aware this type of “gain of function” work, so-called because it can enhance virus potency, was controversial and could have a sinister application.’
‘Ominously, tools exist for simultaneously modifying the genomes for increased virulence [and] transmissibility,” he had written in a 2006 paper. “These bioweapons could be targeted to humans, domesticated animals or crops, causing a devastating impact on human civilisation.’
So, in the Times article, yet another ‘conspiracy theory’ has been shown to be a conspiracy fact. Perhaps, another step will prove that it was released deliberately? Either way, the Wuhan labs’ careless bioweapon research with US involvement is a damning realisation; damning to the manipulators. For, whilst the above revelations point directly at China, we must also recall where research monies came from.

The award to EcoHealth Alliance, a research organization which studies the spread of viruses from animals to humans, included sub-awards to Wuhan Institute of Virology and East China Normal University.’
Note that, when the virus spread, the man behind the research and funding, Dr Anthony Fauci, commissioned a scientific paper in Feb. 2020 to disprove the Wuhan lab leak theory.

‘As the World Health Organization pandemic treaties bear fruit, the mark of the beast has arrived in Europe. Everything the Public Health experts have done since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic has led to this moment of triumph for the global technocracy.

“In June 2023, WHO will take up the European Union (EU) system of digital COVID-19 certification to establish a global system that will help facilitate global mobility and protect citizens across the world from on-going and future health threats, including pandemics. This is the first building block of the WHO Global Digital Health Certification Network (GDHCN) that will develop a wide range of digital products to deliver better health for all.”
By “facilitate global mobility,” they mean immobilizing “anti-vaxxers” or, in fact, any enemy of the state by denying them entry to countries that have handed their border control over to the WHO.

“Building on the EU’s highly successful digital certification network, WHO aims to offer all WHO Member States access to an open-source digital health tool, which is based on the principles of equity, innovation, transparency and data protection and privacy,” said Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General. “New digital health products in development aim to help people everywhere receive quality health services quickly and more effectively”.
By definition, an international, unelected regime with access to individuals’ most private medical data is incompatible with “data protection and privacy.”

“One of the key elements in the European Union’s work against the COVID-19 pandemic has been digital COVID-19 certificates. To facilitate free movement within its borders, the EU swiftly established interoperable COVID-19 certificates (entitled ‘EU Digital COVID-19 Certificate’ or ‘EU DCC’). Based on open-source technologies and standards it allowed also for the connection of non-EU countries that issue certificates according to EU DCC specifications, becoming the most widely used solution around the world.
Note, again, the rhetorical sleight of hand. The government first restricts movement in Europe based on debunked pseudoscience, then offers as the solution vaccination certificates that “facilitate free movement.” The government invents a problem, grants itself authority over solving said problem, and then frames itself as the saviour.
Why would any EU body want to partner with the WHO when, in 2010 The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) – a human rights watchdog – investigated a WHO “false pandemic” “one of the greatest medicine scandals of the century”?
