Listen; Farming today 31 May 2022. The BBC has only given air time for those enthusiastic for the new trade deals and vertical farming. Opposing views are excluded. The presenter describes its content thus;

‘The Government has begun negotiating a Free Trade Agreement with Mexico, hoping to build on the deal inherited from the EU. We hear from a cheese producer looking to expand into this new market. Meanwhile, the UK Government has also signed a document called, A Memorandum of Understanding with the US State of Indiana. What will it mean for British farmers?’

As our farmers can’t compete with cheaper labour and lower standard imports, both of these trade agreements can only be bad news for UK farmers and food security and sovereignty.

Common sense tells us that the malteser sized pebble clay balls used to feed the crops cannot give us the nutrition compared to that provided by the billions of microorganisms that in healthy soil that facilitate mycorrhizal fungi to pass invaluable minerals and vitamins into the plants and on to us.

‘The indoor vertical farming industry, which is a highly-innovative and efficient method, is being funded by Bill Gates and pushed by the World Economic Forum as a replacement to conventional outdoor farming.

Aerofarms is the industry leader in vertical farming and they also co-developed the first CRISPR gene-edited produce product and worked with the NIH to produce proteins for the deadly COVID vaccines.

Aerofarms makes it clear that they are not conventional gardeners. They’re all about synthetic food products, which is clearly the trend in this growing industry.

Monsanto is creating specially-tailored genetically-cut seeds for these vertical farms and the University of California is developing a plant-based mRNA vaccine that farms can grow in heads of lettuce, which happens to be the main crop of these new farms.

Gene editing is subject to robust regulation in the EU as it is deemed equivalent to creating genetically modified organisms (GMOs). In last year’s UK government consultation, 85% of those responding said no to deregulating gene editing. However, a new bill to remove all environmental and health assessments, as well as labelling and traceability requirements, from new gene edited crops and livestock in the UK, has the support of politicians who short-sightedly follow the 4th Industrial Revolution, a globalist party line to put corporate profits before our fragile biosphere and healthy natural food. I think it’s called ‘banging your head against a brick wall’!

The Bill will enable the development and marketing of precision bred plants and animals, which will drive economic growth and position the UK as the leading country in which to invest in agri-food research and innovation.’

Read; Food experts slam the BBC for ‘lies’ about genetically edited foods

‘THE BBC and other media have been accused of “repeating uncritically and ad nauseam” UK Government “lies” about genetically edited foods.

The news comes after the Tories in Westminster asked the devolved ­nations to renege on established ­policy and allow gene-edited crops to be grown in their territories in order to align themselves with upcoming rule changes in England.’

To this request, the Scottish government responded with this letter confirming that it is committed to keeping the ban on gene-edited animals and food.

The deficits in the Gene Editing Bill have been highlighted by a group of 32 civil society organisations including Friends of the Earth, the Soil Association, RSPCA, Compassion in World Farming, Wildlife and Countryside Link and Farms not Factories.

The letter organised by Beyond GM which merited a mention in the recent Scottish Parliament debate on the Bill, calls for immediate and wide-ranging amendments to the Bill to protect people, animals and the environment.

DEFRA’s response to the National Food Strategy (NFS), unsurprisingly, pushes Genetic Technology. A commitment to the transformation of industrial agriculture to biodiverse agroecology is absent!

Excerpt from DEFRA’s response to the NFS;

‘We will drive innovation in genetic technologies step-by-step. We have already acted by removing burdens from field trials and, through the Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Bill, we will create a new simpler regulatory regime to allow researchers and breeders to unlock the benefits of technologies such as gene editing. We will also work with the FSA to develop dedicated guidance materials for approval of new alternative protein products while reviewing our novel food regulations. This will ensure they are transparent for innovators and investors, whilst maintaining world-leading consumer safety standards.’

Genetically engineered crops are more often than not engineered to be resistant to toxic herbicides like the weed killer glyphosate. New gene edited crops are no exception, and one of the first gene edited crops to be commercialised in the UK was a herbicide resistant gene edited oilseed rape, created by US company CIBUS. How can Secretary of State George Eustice talk about gene edited crops reducing herbicide use, when these herbicide resistant crops are only deemed useful because they survive when doused with herbicides? Given the role that these crops have played in increasing herbicide use it’s worth questioning whether this can really be promoted as ’maintaining world-leading consumer safety standards’.

Defra and the Food Standards Agency have said that they will not be labelling gene-edited crops and foods. So consumers who wish to avoid these will be completely in the dark and without choice.

Despite all the successful cases against Roundup in America, Glyphosate, (the main ingredient in Roundup), and the June 17th, win in the US when courts sided with farmers and conservationists to overturn the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ruling that glyphosate is “safe”, it is still considered safe in the UK and EU.

‘Helene Duguy, chemicals lawyer at ClientEarth, said: “Some of the world’s leading scientists have made the link between glyphosate and cancer – yet the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) refuses to label this harmful pesticide as a carcinogen. Unfortunately, it is not the first time ECHA has failed to transparently and clearly justify its dismissal of independent scientific evidence. That’s incredibly worrying given the EU’s commitment and duty to protect its citizens and the environment from the most hazardous substances.”

Glyphosate is the most widely used pesticide in the world, which is of concern since its negative impacts on human health and the environment are well-documented. The World Health Organisation’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the gold standard for cancer research, finds glyphosate is a probable human carcinogen.’

Farmer Edwin E Hughes from Flint asks the powers-that-be to see sense in the future, and cover more industrial buildings with solar panels, leaving thousands of acres of good land to grow food for the nation.

Stuart Roberts, NFU Deputy President, insists, “We cannot allow private companies to relentlessly pursue farmland in order to greenwash their emissions but in the process remove family farms from land they have farmed for generations.

“Without British farmers we would become more reliant on food imports, produced to environmental and animal welfare standards that would be illegal here, as well as lacking our net zero ambition.”

‘Chaos in food supply chains continues to worsen as thousands of cattle across Kansas have mysteriously died. Officially, at least 2,000 cattle died of “extreme heat and humidity” amid triple-digit temperatures, however sceptics aren’t buying it as viral footage shows hundreds of cows lying upside down.’

I made the film Pig Business for Channel 4 in 2009 about Smithfield Foods, the world’s largest pig producer and processor, hoping the state would legislate to restrict its poor labour and environmental standards. No surprise when regulations against their corporate malpractice came into force, they are moving to another state which has less regulations or less stringent enforcement – a downward spiral enjoyed by multinational corporations at the expense of the pigs, human health and the local environment.

‘Jim Monroe, vice president for corporate affairs of Smithfield, said two main factors drove the company’s decision: high costs and overregulation.

“The cost of doing business in California is significantly higher than other states where we operate. Utilities, for example, are 3.5 times per head higher than our other location where we do the same work. Taxes and other costs are significantly higher,” he told The Epoch Times.

Meanwhile, it’s also challenging to operate in the Golden State because of the red tape.

He cited Proposition 12, a state law passed by voters in 2018, as a prime example.

Propositions 12—an animal protection bill backed by the Humane Society—mandates factory farms to give hens, sows, and veal calves enough room to stand up, lie down, turn around, and stretch their limbs without hitting the sides of a cage.

The law also implements a sales ban against noncompliant animal products including eggs, pork, and veal, from out of state’.

On Thursday 23rd June 2022 the WHO gathered its sycophants to decide if we have a so-called pandemic, this time Monkeypox, and must repeat the last two years of tyranny. Why the half truths in mainstream media that smear our most popular politicians? Why is our food being poisoned by pesticides and being genetically engineered, destroying our health and biodiversity? Why have our politicians and banks crashed the economy and corporations trashed the planet? Why is Boris Johnson flooding weapons into Ukraine and refusing to allow Ukraine to negotiate with Russia?

The answer to all those questions is that our democratic system has been broken and citizens have lost control. Unbridled corporate capitalism has allowed money to consolidate into the hands of those that win the global competition and dominate their entire sector. They have lobbied and bought our politicians. Their technocratic mindset sees us deplorables as money making machines to produce and buy their products and so we must be brainwashed to comply. As their robots replace us, they plot what to do with so many expendable people who breathe out ‘the dreaded’ CO2 and need to be fed. What have these psychos got to do with democracy or the rule of natural unalienable rights, principles and freedoms?

If you don’t want a repeat of the last 2 years of hovvock and don’t want to continue to have your immune system trashed, information censored and bodies connected to machines, start by refusing to comply, go to alternative websites for information like Bitchute and Rumble and slowly release yourself from their grip by reconnecting to your local farm economy. Thomas Jefferson said that ‘it’s good for a country to have a revolution every 20 years’ .. It’s time for a human scale and citizen controlled revolution, not the global corporate revolution devised by the elite cabal that attend the Bilderberg meetings and The World Economic Forum!

‘British Home Secretary Priti Patel has authorised the extradition of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to the United States to be tried under the Espionage Act in a case which seeks to set a legal precedent for the prosecution of any publisher or journalist, anywhere in the world, who reports inconvenient truths about the US empire.

Assange’s legal team will appeal the decision, reportedly with arguments that will include the fact that the CIA spied on him and plotted his assassination.

“It will likely be a few days before the (14-day appeal) deadline and the appeal will include new information that we weren’t able to bring before the courts previously. Information on how Julian’s lawyers were spied on, and how there were plots to kidnap and kill Julian from within the CIA,” Assange’s brother Gabriel Shipton told Reuters on Friday.’

“The prosecution would only have to show that the information prejudiced the attainment of the government’s policy in the U.K. ’s interests and that the person who used the information received funding from a foreign government.”
