🦋 Knepp Castle Estate in Sussex home to Knepp Wildland Safaris and Camping produces pork in its Knepp Wild Range Meat as a by-product of its conservation rewilding project. The Tamworth pigs are free to roam year round on 1100 acres made up of pasture, lakes and rivers. The pigs play a particularly important role for plants in the ecosystem by rooting and disturbing the soil 🐖🌾. They eat a diverse range of food ranging from worms and grubs in the winter months to diving for swan mussels and foraging acorns in autumn 🐷
If we don’t continue to support our local farmers & high welfare independent retailers now and into the future, we will lose them! #RootingForRealFarms
