Good Food and Farming March

Hundreds of people marched through central London on Saturday 15th of October to press the government to implement its Environmental Land Management Scheme, ban GM farming and create opportunities for young farmers to produce high standard organic and regenerative food grown in harmony with nature to ensure healthy harvests now and for future generations.

Read & Watch; EU confesses ‘our prosperity was based on China & Russia’: cheap energy, low-paid labor, big market; Ben Norton; 19 Oct 2022

‘EU foreign-policy chief Josep Borrell confessed the West’s neoliberal economic model was “based on cheap energy coming from Russia,” “access to the big China market,” and low-paid Chinese workers. Europe has now lost that, and is thus in crisis.

The West’s economic prosperity following the end of the first cold war in 1991 was built on a neoliberal capitalist economic model that was only made possible due to the extraction of wealth from China and Russia, the European Union’s top foreign-policy official, Josep Borrell, has confessed.

“Our prosperity was based on China and Russia – energy and market,” Borrell said.

China provided the US and EU with a massive market, low-paid labor, and cheap consumer goods. And after the Soviet Union was overthrown, mass privatizations in Russia and steps at integrating it into the West helped Europe secure huge amounts of inexpensive energy.

But the significant rise in workers’ living standards in China, as well as the proxy war in Ukraine and the EU’s corresponding pledge to boycott Russian gas and oil, have greatly increased the cost of living and doing business in Europe, making its products uncompetitive in global markets.

This has plunged the trans-Atlantic capitalist system into a deep crisis, motivating the neoliberal West to wage a new cold war on Beijing and Moscow in hopes of reasserting control over China’s market and labor and Russia’s natural resources.

The EU’s foreign-policy chief acknowledged these facts in a speech at the 2022 Ambassadors Conference in Brussels on October 10.’

‘We are on the brink of ominous events created by the U.S. war against Russia. Yet so many people prefer to turn away and swallow the lies that the U.S. wants peace and not war and is the aggrieved party in the crisis.

A friend of mine, who is constantly charging me with having turned right-wing because of my writing that accuses many traditional liberal/leftists of buying the national security state’s propaganda on the JFK assassination, “9/11,” Syria, Ukraine, Covid-19, censorship, the “New” Cold War, etc., and whose go-to news sources are The Guardian, CNN, The New York Times, NPR, ABC, seems oblivious to the fact that right and left have become useless terms and that these media are all mouthpieces for the CIA and their intelligence allies in the new Cold War; that the so-called right and left are joined at the hip with their obsession with Pax Americana.

There are no right and left anymore; there are only free and independent voices or those of the caged parrots repeating what they have been taught to say:

“Polly wants a war!” “Polly wants a war.”

I am afraid that I will never convince this dear friend otherwise and I find that depressing. Yet I know such views are shared by millions of others and that even if nuclear war breaks out their minds will not change. Propaganda runs very, very deep into their psyches, and they desperately want to believe. Hitler said it clearly in Mein Kampf:

“The masses … are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods”.

Hitler learned so much about “manufacturing consent” from his American teachers Edward Bernays, Walter Lippmann, et al., who accomplished so much brainwashing of the American people. They were all masters of the lie and millions continue to believe.’

Covid/Vaccines

Listen; Evidence Based Medicine with Cardiologist Dr Aseem Malhotra; Robert FKennedy Jr The Defender Podcast; 7 Oct 2022.

Dr. Aseem Malhotra, known as one of the most influential cardiologists in Britain, discusses the pandemic, vaccines, and sugar consumption with RFK Jr.

Malhotra: “The mRNA vaccines in particular; there was a mechanism that they could potentially accelerate heart disease. If that is true, and I believe it to be true now, then of course that’s going to cause a surge in heart attacks, and an increase in out of hospital cardiac arrests. Certainly in the UK in 2021, we have 14,000 extra out of hospital cardiac arrests, which are unexplained. Israel did some very interesting, useful analyses published in Nature Reports, and this is very disturbing. They found in 16 to 39 year olds there was a 25% increase in cardiac arrests and heart attacks related, associated, with the Covid mRNA vaccines, but not associated with Covid. So for me, there were so many data points that were painting a picture.”

“And what they found from the original trial, which is the gold standard of evidence where you correct for confounding factors, one was more likely to suffer a serious adverse event from the vaccine than they were to be hospitalised with Covid. And that was during the original Wuhan strain. And that figure roughly was about one in 800. I’ve looked at data around the world, you know, current of your V A E R S in the US and yellow card system here. Norway has probably been the most robust in terms of being quite transparent in documenting with doctors what they felt was a serious adverse event from the vaccine.

So these are things that are life changing, result in hospitalization, heart attack, strokes, et cetera. And they came out with a figure after two doses of the Pfizer vaccine. It was one in 926, which is very similar to the data from the R C T.”

“And if you look at that list, it’s exactly what we are seeing in the community and clinical practice. The problem is many doctors aren’t gonna diagnose it because many of them, like me 18 months ago, can still not concede that a vaccine can do this level of harm. And that’s really what we need to overcome. And what I tried to do with that paper is to open people’s minds up by saying, Listen, I had the vaccine. I believed it was safe. I got it wrong. The information I had to go into at the time was limited. The information now is unequivocal and we need to do something about it and we need to suspend it for everybody until this data is properly investigated.”

Kennedy; “Yeah, one of the problems I think is that it’s not just that kind of a circumstantial ignorance among doctors, but it’s an orchestrated ignorance where doctors who do talk about it are punished…..”

Compared to natural weather-changing patterns, more and more experts are questioning the amount of CO2 that humans are contributing. Origins of “Global Warming”:

‘Many have forgotten the original scientific thesis put forward to justify a radical shift in our energy sources. It was not “climate change.” Earth climate is constantly changing, correlated to changes in the emission of solar flares or sunspot cycles affecting Earth climate.

Around the turn of the millennium as the previous solar-led warming cycle was no longer evident, Al Gore and others shifted the narrative in a linguistic sleight-of-hand to “Climate Change,” from Global Warming. Now the fear narrative has gotten so absurd that every freak weather event is treated as a “climate crisis.” Every hurricane or winter storm is claimed as proof that the Climate Gods are punishing us sinful CO2 emitting humans.’

Yes we need to reduce our addiction to fossil fuels that industrialisation has forced on us but only with sufficient subsidies to avoid destroying our small scale independent businesses, not least farmers. What could be behind the hurry to achieve net zero CO2 by 2030? MONEY! When there’s money to be made from acquiring the bankrupt farmers’ land, and manufacturing new energy-intensive high tech products, billions have been invested to manufacture political and citizen consent through half truths and lies promoted through the mainstream media about how real food and farming isn’t going to feed the world and livestock farming is killing the planet.

However, the true money game is revealed when net zero advocates like Bill Gates are simultaneously investing their billions in energy intensive fake food and energy intensive industrial agriculture in Africa.

The tech transition is facilitated by equity fund managers, not least our pension funds, and taxes in R&D and education. Young farmers who want  to farm ie work with the soil, biodiversity, natural plants and livestock, are instead being taught to replace jobs with automation; vertical farming that replace soil with malteser size balls of clay, robotics, AI, agritech and fake, highly processed, meat equivalents, GM tech seeds and gene edited livestock.

If our authorities really cared more about climate change than corporate profits, instead of taxing labour, (something that our burgeoning population has ample of), they could tax what we want to wean ourselves off, like fossil fuels, pesticides, fertilisers and soil crushing machines. Instead, their relentless quest to steal farmers’ land and livelihoods to increase corporate profits and control, they are replacing one toxic system of farming with an even more toxic one.

‘Oh, your farmland has been owned by your family for generations? Sorry, the state will be taking it now and your business and livelihood will be taken from you.

You know who else seized farmers’ land? There was this guy called Mao who had the Communist idea of taking the land from the people. There were also these Communists in the Soviet Union who had a similar idea, and we all know how that turned out. Not very good at all.

And this is all happening under the excuse of meeting new climate goals. I have said this before and I will say it again. It is called Climate Communism.’

Though Liz Truss has resigned! will the ‘public money for public goods’ promises survive when the causes of the economy’s chaos, namely lockdown, war and net zero CO2 targets, is not questioned by either political party? Though Truss’s dash for economic growth might have been excessive, both parties still advocate this principle despite the fact that we can’t have exponential growth on a finite planet.

‘Liz Truss is facing a rural revolt against her plans to prioritise a “dash for economic growth” over nature protection and the environment.

Senior party figures, including ministers under Boris Johnson’s premiership and former Tory leader William Hague, have joined the National Trust, the RSPB, the Angling Trust and Wildlife Trusts in criticising what they see as environmental vandalism.

It follows concerns Truss is treating the leading nature charities as part of a so-called “anti-growth coalition” that she claims to be confronting.’

In the name of poverty and food security, agritech colleges want to replace farmers with tech.

The head of one college suggests;

“….we know that there are skill shortages in those areas around robotics and an agritech net zero sustainability agenda, food security, and increased automation.”

‘It’s thought that within the next few years, food made with lab cultured meat will be on shelves here in the UK to help tackle the challenges of food security.’

‘Looking at the current employment in terms of the cost of living, a lot of people are not gonna have access to food in the same way that we have had in the past. And so we need more technologies to bring food to a, to a level of parity that’s accessible to all.

Backed by Ocado; James Lloyd Jones from the Jones Food Company has a 148,000 sq ft vertical farm in Lincolnshire, the biggest in the world, consisting of warehouses that have a life span of 20-25 years growing crops stacked in layers in a controlled environment.

“There is a huge amount of potential in the UK to have high tech, agricultural, companies developing agri agriculture, not just for food supply security in the uk but also to be able to export that technology around the world and really become world leaders. This new £12.5 million (subsidy from UK tax payers) needs to go straight to the companies that are leading the charge in big chunks.”

‘It is a good start, but it’s too little to be, to be in an industry that is so important, which is food. You know, everyone needs to eat; £12.5 million to control the supply chain or, or help build the supply chain for resilience is a very, very small number.’

Subsidies should go to independent mixed farms not high tech farming that depends on fossil fuel or covering the planet with renewable energy infrastructure that is far from efficient. A decentralised system of mixed farming and local markets that, if paid fairly, would attract British workers and not depend on migrants or energy intensive machines to run.

Julian Assange’s  right to publish is our right to know. Ten to twelve thousand people formed a human chain around parliament to demand that Julian Assange be freed, proving that people care about him and our freedom to report on government crimes, their human rights abuses and illegal surveillance and can be called upon again to ensure he never gets extradited to the USA to face an unfair trial and life in a dungeon.

‘Guardian columnist George Monbiot is, by his own admission, a very busy man. Dedicated as he is to issues such as soil loss, he has yet to find the time to throw his weight behind the campaign to free Julian Assange.

When thousands of supporters poured into London from all over the world at the weekend to besiege the British Parliament, creating a human chain around it, Monbiot, like his newspaper the Guardian, ignored the event.’

“WEF founder Klaus Schwab even wrote about it in a book entitled the Great Reset – that’s where you’ll own nothing and be happy,” Mr Bernardi said.

“These same leaders celebrate movements that rely on deceit, destruction and chaos to divide society while a largely compliant media mostly report only the official interpretation of events.

He said “agents of political change” are now so emboldened they will “happily lie and seem to have no fear of being exposed”.

“They will misrepresent everything, from war to science, from economics to biology, in order to condition you to endorse what is unacceptable,” Mr Bernardi said.

He continues; “These things are being done before our very eyes, and yet, most people refuse to see.”

I’ve been accused of being a liar, a far-right extremist, a conspiracy theorist, controlled opposition, and of indoctrinating my students. Now I’m going to say a word for myself.

‘The deputy managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) recently explained how Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC) can be programmed to determine what people are allowed to buy and insisted they should be used alongside a China-style Social Credit Score system.

Unlike cryptocurrency, which is private, Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) will be issued and controlled by the central banks themselves.

In many ways, it’s the same as banknotes, but that every single transaction will be monitored for compliance.’

Ukraine/China Conflicts

The bottom line for corporate capitalism is that, powered by and for a global elite, it’s economic growth depends on stealing from others. If that fact were not hidden by mainstream medias half truths and lies about the true cost of globalisation, the public would demand a system that shared the world’s resources according to local needs. On the contrary, Zelensky passes laws that open up war-torn Ukraine to a globalist takeover as he rings the bell at the New York Stock Exchange. And, below, the EU Commissioner, Ursula von der Leyen, says the West must prevent China from keeping control over its own vital resources. The world’s most dangerous bully, the US along with its EU acolytes, want it all on their terms. Her background in finance has encouraged and praised psychopathic selfishness and greed, giving competition and conflict priority over compassion and cooperation.

European Union leader Ursula von der Leyen warned that China and Russia are a “global challenge” to Western hegemony. She called for weakening their influence in the Global South, cutting their access to raw materials, opposing Beijing’s Belt and Road Initiative, and expanding the EU.

‘Von der Leyen emphasized that the EU is raising hundreds of billions of euros to fund programs to weaken Chinese and Russian influence in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

The EU leader portrayed the resource-rich Global South as a battlefield. She warned that the demand for raw materials needed to build renewable energy technology “will exponentially increase,” and insisted that the West must prevent China from controlling those natural resources.’

Jeffrey Sachs is Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network and served as Chair of the Lancet Covid-19 commissions.

Sachs; “I’m 67 years old I’ve been through a lot of U.S Wars; Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Nicaragua, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen and more; it’s the job of the President of the United States to put on the brakes because this country is a war machine. Eisenhower told us about it with the military-industrial complex”.

“I think that the core motivation of the U.S. goes back to the neocon approach to foreign policy which basically has been the approach of the United States for 30 years now. At the end of the Soviet Union the neocons took power, they’re still in power and their view is the U.S is the unipolar power, it’s the sole superpower and we’re going to keep it that way. And under U.S strategic doctrines right now there are two threats; Russia is one and China is the other, and it’s not an accident that we’re in confrontations on two fronts right now. So when it comes to Russia, Zbigniew Brzezinski pretty much spelled this out in his very interesting book The Grand Chessboard 1997 where he said that Ukraine is the geographical pivot of Eurasia it’s the key. If the United States is basically in charge, Russia ceases to be even a regional power; basically it’s cut out from the Black Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean.

Ukraine’s a big prize if you’re a neocon. When a neocon is someone who views the world like the game of Risk that you want to get all your pieces on the board and you want to take all of your opponent’s pieces off the board – and Ukraine is really strategic from their point of view and this has been spelled out by Robert Kagan. For example, they’ve written about this quite openly and of course you know that family has been part of this for the whole time because Victoria Newland (Kagan’s wife) is the under Secretary of State for political Affairs in the United States right now. She’s been through this through all these administrations. and so I think that this is the core; that we’re going to expand NATO. They have the idea that the North Atlantic reaches to Georgia…. if you look at a map what’s the game plan? The game plan is, control the Black Sea. After Ukraine’s internet was knocked out following Russia’s invasion, SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk came to the rescue. He activated Starlink internet services for Ukraine. On the 28th of February, Musk shipped Starlink user terminals to Ukraine to help rebuild their communication services. But now, Elon Musk seems to have had enough and is threatening to pull out of Ukraine. That could land Ukraine into a digital blackout.’

’Musk recently tweeted a peace plan that would have Ukraine give up Crimea and control over the Eastern Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Ukraine wasn’t happy with the plan to the extent that some Ukrainian officials, even through distasteful expletives at Musk on Twitter. Ukrainian president Vadimir Zelensky asked who Musk sided with. Starlink is a satellite-based internet terminal that provides high speed broadband connectivity to its subscribers via its satellite constellation. It is a vital replacement to land-based internet services when infrastructure on the ground is destroyed by war or natural disasters. Ukraine’s wartime efforts are totally dependent on Starlink – its military, as well as NGOs and civilians have relied on Starlink all this while. Starlink is not only used for voice and electronic communication in the Ukraine but by the Ukraine military to help fly drones and send back videos to correct artillery fire as well’.
