“The way you get democracy to function is by informing the public.” – Robert Kennedy Jr.

“Science is more than a body of knowledge. It is a way of thinking; a way of sceptically interrogating the universe with a fine understanding of human fallibility. If we are not able to ask sceptical questions, to interrogate those who tell us that something is true, to be sceptical of those in authority, then, we are up for grabs for the next charlatan (political or religious) who comes rambling along.” – Carl Sagan

Wise Farmer: Little Donkey Farm, China

In March, while UK farmers were protesting at Westminster, demanding that they receive a fair price for their food, I was travelling in China in an attempt to understand the country the US is targeting for war.

Of course, I couldn’t resist visiting an organic farm to film another episode in our Wise Farmer series of short videos about inspired farmers. Little Donkey Farm, a small-scale fruit and veg farm near Beijing, is free from both chemical pesticides and fertilisers and genetically manipulated seeds and is co-funded by the Chinese government. The farm delivers boxes of natural fruit and veg to urban customers, as well as providing small allotments for urban families to grow food for their own consumption. The families receive guidance about food growing and a chance to escape their tiny high-rise homes and hard working lives in a concrete, metal and tarmac urban jungle.

Unlike in China, in the UK, food sovereignty is not a priority. Just to quote one farming sector, 49% of fruit and veg farmers in the UK fear that they are likely to go out of business in the next 12 months. In China, the government’s Rural Revitalisation Programme and food security policy gives subsidies to farmers to grow food, unlike in the U.K. where most subsidies go to NetZero programmes, like planting trees and growing bird seed, that for some obscure reason trump growing food! To improve the quantity and quality of land available for growing food, the Chinese government gives the farmers subsidies to reclaim land formerly used for manufacturing, while our government gives planning permission to cover our precious food growing land in solar panels as opposed to on roofs. To promote organic farming, the Chinese Government also subsidises organic fertilisers to help grow the sector, whereas I have received zero subsidies for my chemical free fruit and veg market garden, Forbidden Fruit and Veg.

The Chinese want to increase home grown food and improve the quality, while the globalists in the UK government sign free trade agreements that allow cheap, substandard food imports to undermine our farmers and perpetuate a race to the bottom in food quality and undermine our food security. The ultimate goal is to syphon all the profits from our skilled independent farmers into Big Ag coffers.

Under the veil of abating climate change, transnational corporations are driving the world to modernise agriculture with Agri- tech factories run by scientists using GMO seed, chemical pesticides and fertilisers, AI, robots and drones.

In China I visited one such Agri-tech centre where, in massive greenhouses, plants where scientists, instead of farmers, grow all year round tomatoes and strawberries in imported bags of peat, spray with pesticides and drip fed with chemical fertiliser and water. The guide asked why suddenly so many foreigners were visiting. I suggested it was to steal their Agri-tech ideas and couldn’t help thinking that it was to grow the next generation of Frankenstein food.

For more information about how China’s President Xi Jinping has urged ‘rural vitalization’ and declared a commitment to renewing peasants’ rights of land use for 30 more years’, read ‘From Sannong to Rural Vitalization’ paragraph in;

In Transition to Rural Vitalization: China’s Strategy amid the Global Crises; Erebus Wong, Sit Tsui and Wen Tiejun; Dec 2024

Abstract;

‘This article examines how China deals with the global crises. China’s policies to counter the crises rely on maintaining investment-led growth, which, however, has incurred an overexpansion of credits and serious debts similar to those of the West entering the era of financial capitalism. The current challenge is whether China can deploy the strategy of rural vitalization to turn to ecological civilization.’

‘The majority, 60% of the population, are small property owners in rural areas. This is not only the legacy of land revolution, but also the foundation of Chinese society, which acts as social stabiliser during economic crises.’

‘Previously peasants were happy to give up their rural household registration to become urban households. Now, the situation has in some ways reversed, as many urban households have returned to their home villages asking to be given back their peasant identity and rural household registration.’

‘In short, the current moves on the economic front constitute China’s proactive effort to steer away from decades of developmentalism in line with the Western model of modernization. ‘Beautiful villages’ are conceived to be the carrier of ‘beautiful China’. The national development strategy is gradually adjusted toward inclusive sustainable development which is resource-efficient and eco-friendly.’

Food, Farming & Ecocide

The UK’s green and pleasant land is being covered in industrial-scale solar panel parks; a sea of shining black, buzzing panels, 12-foot security fences and highly inflammable battery stations. In a volatile world, fields should be for food, and solar panels should be on roofs, brownfield sites and along motorways. Our local battle, Say No to Lime Down, is against 2,000 acres of them, blighting the local neighbourhood of outstanding natural beauty in the N Wiltshire Cotswolds, destroying local tourist businesses and every country pursuit. Blinded by a massive solar industry bribe of £1,000 per acre per year for 40 years, nine landowners have signed up, ignoring the fact that they are stealing from their neighbours whose house values have plummeted by 30%. The solar panel company, Island Green Power (IGP) promises increased biodiversity and sheep grazing under the panels – a blatant con – there won’t be any grass under 3 stories of solar panels reaching up to 4.5 metres high!

Though local small-scale farmers are suffering financially, most local farmers who were invited to join this scheme have retained their community values and refused the eye-watering bribes offered by IGP and their bankster backers. Farms that are located between the proposed solar panels and the grid will also be blighted. The company says they ‘anticipate’ burying the huge transmission cables in trenches running from the solar farm to the substation at Melksham, more than 15 miles away for a cost of £30m. However, experts say that to tunnel under the M4, the mainline rail tracks, a canal and the A350 will cost more like £200 million. The estimated £30 million will only pay for pylons marching across the 15-mile stretch of countryside. The anger is such that while those landowners who have signed up might be able to pay for drinks at the pub, no one will want to share their new found generosity.

The Australian bank, Macquarie, also known as The Vampire Kangaroo, owns 50% of Irish businessman Colm Killeen’s company, Island Green Power (IGP), which is financing the Lime Down Solar development and twenty more similar projects. This is the same Australian bank that owned Thames Water which was using customers’ water bill payments to finance shareholder dividends and more loans when they should have been investing in infrastructure. Days after Macquarie’s sale of its stake in March 2017, Thames Water was hit with a then record fine of £20.3m linked to huge leaks of untreated sewage in 2013 and 2014 while the Macquarie-led consortium owned it.

Though the locals are not anti solar as the headline suggests, the fact that the renewable energy Minister called for more protection to stop large-scale solar farms being built in the countryside, might signal his refusing planning permission and so warn the banksters to lay off our precious food producing land.

Although the cheerleading NetZeroTreasury will try putting energy before food, jittery pre-election Conservative MPs are scrambling for support from their country constituents. So, many have joined the fight against the solar panel developers. Meanwhile, the Labour Party, which has zero country support, have pledged to speed up any infrastructure that promotes NetZero. So, not one Labour MP attended the excellent meeting on solar panels needing to be on roofs not fields at Westminster last month.

Please help us to get 100,000 signatures to ensure we get a debate in Westminster on massive solar parks on green field sites; fields that should be feeding us.

Petition

‘Introduce new restrictions on solar facilities to protect land and food security.

Prohibit ‘mega solar facilities’ over 50 MW on UK farmland; establish solar development preference hierarchies and regional density caps to help protect our natural landscapes, ensure food security, and conserve biodiversity.

Government policy must align net zero aims with food security and regional integrity. Establishing formal priorities for solar development on brownfields, rooftops, and lower-grade land, plus regional solar density caps, could help ensure energy targets are met without compromising rural landscapes or broader security interests’.

Read; Letter in the Telegraph from Viscount Matt Ridley.

“While solar panels on rods can (almost) make sense, huge solar farms are an environmental as well as economic mistake. The whole point of farmland is that it is already a solar farm, and a green one at that. It turns sunlight into food energy for people, insects, voles and birds.”

Hero, Julian Rose, is always ahead of the game in predicting the real motives behind much of what the government and mainstream media tell us, not least with the false causes and solutions to Climate Change, namely NetZero.

Watch; Unearthly Interference: The Corruption of the Organic Movement. Charles Malet interviews Sir Julian Rose, UK Column 4th April 2024.

19.57: “When you start examining the smaller print about what the Green New Deal is, you discover that, it isn’t green and nor is it a deal. It’s very dark. And it involves going down a route which has very little to do with what we (traditional greens) are talking about. In fact, it involves pretty much getting farmers off the land and replacing them with robots. I mean, it’s actually in the fourth industrial revolution. If anyone wants to buy Klaus Schwab’s book, he wrote a book called Green New Deal, but he also wrote another one, The Fourth Industrial Revolution, and all the details towards the fourth industrial revolution, it’s a move towards AI, artificial intelligence and robotics.

They proposed that food should be grown in laboratories petri dishes, both in the case of meat, genetically modified meat, and in the case of dairy products. There are already two large laboratory factories in England producing synthetic, genetically modified milk. And that’s what Schwab recommends. Quite obviously, the reasoning behind it from the standpoint of the Green New Deal is (allegedly) it’s the only way to achieve net zero by 2050. . . . It’s all gobbledy-gook. It’s all complete nonsense.

So the thing is that under the Green New Deal and under The Fourth Industrial Revolution, the plan is to get farmers off the land and cows, and livestock in general, because they give off methane. They have to be excluded because methane is a contributor to global warming, according to the government or according to the International panel for Climate Change, and all these pseudo scientists (who) frankly, are pushing in that direction. And that ultimately lands up . . . in a transhuman scenario, where even human beings become connected up to computers and brains are basically used to pile information at a very high and intense level, and we become semi-robotic as a human race.”

25.50: “The founders of The Soil Association back in 1946; Lady Eve Balfour was a soil scientist but she had a very remarkable board at that time; homoeopathic doctors; nutritionists; soil scientists; farmers experimenting with many different sorts of livestock combinations. Very progressive people. And what came out of this was the position: real food, organic food, should be sold fresh and local. End of story. Now, I actually believe in them and I think if The Soil Association had stuck to that principle, we’d be far further down the line of local food for local people at the highest quality. Whereas, I’m afraid my colleagues and my colleagues at The Soil Association were captivated by the concept of supermarkets actually saying, ‘we’d be interested in taking some of your organic food’. It was like; wow, Tesco wants to take organic. They couldn’t resist. They said, we must do it. And then a theory was developed, ‘you can’t grow the organic movement unless you sell in a supermarket’.

“The smaller scale people tend to look at it more holistically because they recognise that selling directly is the only way to make enough income. You couldn’t anyway go through a third party and into a situation like a supermarket sale, where they reject, usually, 50% of what you offer them in terms of fruit and vegetables, because it doesn’t look right. That’s all they really care about, what it looks like. And the nutritional value of stuff in supermarkets is rubbish, of course. It’s travelled halfway around the world, is about a week old, . . . has been through about six temperature changes. And by the time people buy stuff in supermarkets, all the vitamins and nutrients and energy is gone. But it looks nice. Yes, it does look nice. So organic farming has fallen into this trap.”

37.03: “The plan, that is the hidden agenda, is to take land out of production. Now, I think this is the personal view, and I’ve done quite a lot of research into this, that organic farming will not be considered a problem. Organic farmers will be supported and kept. In fact, the elite who want to maintain their positions of power on the planet. All want, and already eat, organic food“

48.25: “People who are feeling nervous, irritable, somewhat fearful about the future, should question the psychology of their condition. Why are you feeling that? What are you feeling that about? Ask yourself these questions. Is it because you feel you have almost no control over your destiny? Is it because you no longer trust the politicians who claim to be representing you in parliament? Is it both those things? Plus the fact that there’s a very uneasy feeling in the world, with wars going on and horrors like Gaza and Ukraine, etcetera. All these things combined, make you feel completely unable to feel that you have control over your destiny. But if you do feel that, the first place to start from is food, rebuild from food, get out of the city, if you possibly can. I’m talking to people who still have the option to move. Try to find somewhere in the countryside where you feel more relaxed and better air quality, even the possibility you might have a small piece of land and start trying to grow your own food. . . . Try and grow enough food. The allotments in England are overwhelmingly popular, and that’s the closest thing we have in the UK to a way of supporting yourself by growing our own food.”

“So people really must use their brain power and do some research and make a sort of pact with yourself to get onto a new foot forward, put a foot forward and get involved with your food and your food production and as I said before, via cooperatives, yes. Farm shops, yes. Box schemes, yes. Farmers’ markets, yes. You know, that’s the starting point. Wean yourself off the supermarket and the whole convenience thing. Throw out your mobile phone and start a new life.”

How would novel, high tech, highly processed meat reduce CO2? With pasture fed beef, the grass sequesters all the CO2 that the cattle emit. No one asked the nutritionists and public if they want to eat high tech novel food. It’s allegedly ‘safe and nutritious’. Is the science the same as with the experimental Covid19 vaccine that was said to be ‘safe and effective’? Two years down the line there’s a loud chorus of scientists saying that the vaccine is neither safe nor effective, a fact even Pfizer admitted.

When our authorities say they want to ‘improve regulation’ of novel foods what they mean is ‘speed it up’. The Treasury values growth in the financial markets which have heavily invested in novel foods, so regulators like the FSA (Food Standards Agency) have abandoned the precautionary principle and food sovereignty, by which I mean healthy, wholesome food grown by independent farmers for local people, not high-tech lab food from a factory that happens to be in the UK. The race to produce novel meat is stealing funds that should go to our skilled farmers to feed us in these turbulent times.

Read and listen; Open letter to Simon Roberts, CEO of Sainsbury’s Alliance for Natural Health International, 21st March 2024;

‘We — and many of our supporters in the UK – are very concerned about a change in direction by one of the UK’s leading supermarket chains, Sainsbury’s, traditionally a supporter of organic foods, regenerative farming, high animal welfare standards, and ethical foods. These concerns are brought into sharp focus by the passage of a recent law that allows producers to get gene edited foods to market without safety testing. Our concerns are amplified by views contained in Sainsbury’s Future of Food report released in 2019, to celebrate its 150 years of existence.

We need to reconnect with our farmers as spelled out in this inspiring podcast with speakers warning of the threat to our independent farmers and real food and the solutions expressed by community food groups across the UK.

Watch; Together We are Stronger; podcast; The People’s Food and Farming Alliance, founded and directed by Catherine MacBean;

Sandy Adams; “Sainsbury’s recently launched its Future of Food Report which predicts the role of food in our lives from 2025 right up to 2169 …. Sainsbury’s intend to go into food production themselves although how healthy will that food be is the question. By 2025, according to Sainsburys, the foods we eat will become ‘planet friendly’; a quarter of us will be vegetarian or vegan. As demand for plant-based food soars, the grocery aisles will need to adjust. Hydroponically grown plants are expected to revolutionise the meaning of fresh. We’ll see a proliferation of plant-based meat alternatives and insects. Yes, those crawly bugs are already making their way onto our shelves and our plates. Just check out ‘Eat Grub’s’ range of protein packed edible insect snacks; and who knows what effects this will have on our health. By 2050 cultured meat will become a grocery staple. The report anticipates that cellular proteins, the meaty tissue cultivated independently from animals using stem cells, will reduce the need for farmed animals and the application may expand to eggs, milk and gelatin and our oceanic diet will expand.

Currently farmers are being directed to meet regulations for questionable Net Zero targets which means that they have to give up their land and reduce their outputs for what’s called Biodiversity Net Gain or BNGs. It’s a bit like ESG (Environmental Social Governance) contracts in business that people are encountering. They’re basically paid not to farm food. Could this be because in 2023 a new Financial instrument was created by the Securities and Exchange Commission called a Natural Asset Class or a Natural Asset Corporation or the acronym NAC’s based on environmental stewardship. NAC’s hold the rights to ecological performance.

These companies would be given a licence to control lands, both public and private, and would be required not to conduct any unsustainable activities on that land, where rewilding and renewable energy production on the land will take precedence over livestock farming and growing food. Basically corporations can profit more from ecological performance than growing food. That doesn’t make sense. They plan to corporatise and financialise the countryside. Farmers are in the way of that lucrative new revenue stream. NetZero is being used as the vehicle to get people to give up their land and their freedom. Farmers have to understand this. Take a look at the videos from Paul Burgess and many others to see how false the claims of human activity caused by CO2 warming really really are. The fact is that the World Economic Forum and the UK government are impoverishing farmers by design. They’re seeing this under the false claims of NetZero by corporate takeover.They intend to monopolise your land and make you surplus to requirements. This is all about corporate greed over people.”

Sharon Walters; The People’s Supermarket. “We’re looking at bringing in or including local butchers and bakers under the one roof of the One-Stop Shop, utilising redundant buildings and local distribution centres. So it would be owned by people and a membership …utilising the local services … you could also include deliveries; utilising the local milkman, taxi drivers and I’m sure the locals would come up with other solutions as well. The main thing is it’s a one-stop shop. everything that’s in the supermarket but the profits are shared so the more money can go to the farmers and we can keep prices lean for the consumers.”

Danny Moore; ‘I’m one of the co-founders of Farmacy Co-op we launched in February

2020. We launched in Bakewell in Derbyshire and we have a packing operation there. The strategy behind what we’re doing is to help create the secure and resilient local food systems and so everything that we do is owned by the people to benefit the people to regenerate the land and also regenerate our health’.

Nick Weir from the Open Food Network; a global community of farmers, growers and Community Food Enterprises with a common belief that the food systems of the world are broken and we are in the process of rebuilding them from the bottom up. The Open Food Network started in Australia 12 years ago. We brought it to the UK nine years ago. It’s now in 21 different countries.

In the UK we’ve got several thousand producers and a couple hundred shops across the UK. In some cases these shops are people selling direct from the farm, in other cases they might be what Danny called food hub, which brings together multiple producers under a single online shop front to sell, in effect, everything that a supermarket could sell but from local producers. Some of these are food co-ops, buying groups, or food banks, distributing surplus food. There’s multiple different ways of setting up an Open Food Network shop front. (Indicates image) This is a shop in East Devon with all of these producers. These are all small scale local producers who have clubbed together to create a single shop front and on the shop front you can filter by the types of product that you might want to see. I’ve filtered here on the fish products and if you are particularly interested in organic or fair trade or local whatever, you can filter there, but once you’ve filtered your product, you can then read a description that’s put up by the product and a picture, and you can see who produced that product and a little bit of detail about them: social media links; contact details, so that there is transparency and you can see exactly who it is who produced that food. Again, on transparency, we are really keen that the shopper can see how much of the selling price of what they’re buying is going to go to the producer. So, in this case, this crab producer is going to make £750 for this crab and the hub, which is bringing together, in this case, about 80 different local producers. The hub is taking a 20% markup.’

Along with supermarkets, farmers see NetZero policies as the cause of their demise.

Watch; British Farmer criticises harsh environmental regulations subject.matter, 10 April 2024;

“NetZero, I call it NotZero because it’s a non-existent thing that they’ve fabricated, they’ve created, that we don’t need and is never going to happen. If you’re in a room, you can control everything within that room, when we’re outside you can’t control it, you can’t have net zero. Correct me if I’m wrong, they think I’m a thick farmer, doesn’t CO2 and carbon help things grow? My name is Douglas Turner and I farm in Surrey, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. I’ve been to events where they’ve asked me to speak and I’ve asked people what they need, what they want, and they want a new car, they want a new phone, they want a holiday or something. I say you don’t need any of that, I say, you may want it, but what you need is food, and you need to be able to make sure that we grow enough food in our own country. Because if we don’t, if other countries have a bad harvest or they put the price up, we cant afford to eat.”

The fame of the useful idiot farmer, Jeremy Clarkson, amplifies the farmers’ important message to UK readers – replacing them with NetZero policies will potentially bring starvation!

Read ; Jeremy Clarkson stops growing food in some fields as he makes more from eco handouts The Telegraph, 28th April 2024; The celebrity farm owner warned that people are being incentivised not to produce food, so more has to be imported from abroad.

Clarkson; “But what if you want some bread? You’ll have to get a loaf made from wheat that was grown abroad. And how’s that good for global warming?”

‘Under the SFI, farmers can receive money for turning their arable and horticultural fields into bee friendly wildflower meadows, grassland or planting species that can feed winter birds.

The scheme has proved so popular to struggling farmers that last month the government was forced to issue a crackdown, warning that growers could only take 25 percent of their land out of direct food production for environmental projects’.

The National Trust has gone from being a charity entrusted to protect beautiful estates and buildings into a full blown business that has abandoned and undermined their tenant farmers who have cared for their land often for generations. Richard Vobes being his usually witty self in his tackling of serious issues.

Watch: What is the National Trust playing at? Richard Vobes, 31st March 2024;

‘The National Trust owns a lot of property don’t they? They own a lot of property all over the place and some of them have tenant farmers farming their land. Well they used to until they decided, ‘actually no, we’ve got to save the planet.’ This man-made global warming myth now has got into The National Trust.

Several farming tenants and the Tenant Farmers Association are concerned by what they see as an oversell way in which the National Trust is taking productive agricultural land back in hand. The Tenant Farmers Association chief executive, George Dunn, says that what is happening to some tenants is devastating.He says, they’ve been putting heart and soul into the place hoping to get some sort of tenancy renewal and are told this ain’t going to happen. We ain’t going to do farming anymore, says the National Trust, we don’t do that. The National Trust says it wants to make its land better for nature, yes, not for humans, just for nature, to help tackle the nature and climate crisis!

More information on the above is in the following article:

Read: The National Trust is trying to eliminate livestock farming; Tony Gosling, The Land is Ours, 2 August 2022;

‘Several farming tenants and the Tenant Farmers Association (TFA) are concerned by what they see as the over-zealous way in which the National Trust is taking productive agricultural land back in-hand for rewilding.

Farmers Weekly talks to some tenants who have lost the land they have farmed for years.’

‘The Trust is focusing attention on what it considers is needed for biodiversity net gain and carbon reduction. It does not see these farms as particularly important from an agricultural perspective. The Tenant Farmers Association (TFA) thinks the policy is entirely wrong-headed. “It is a vanity project driven by the current media frenzy around rewilding, which in our view is not based on sound science”, says Mr Dunn (Chief Executive, Tenant Farmers Association).’

The TFA is also challenging Defra over spending public money on such projects. The government’s objective is to maintain the landlord/tenant system in agriculture. If a landlord like the National Trust decides to bring someone’s occupation of a farm to an end, it shouldn’t have access to public funding for planting trees and rewilding, Mr Dunn suggests.

He advises tenants who have been approached about giving up their tenancy not to go quietly and to speak up for what they believe to be right.Contact the TFA, he adds. We are building a database to help lobby the National Trust on a joint basis. The more cases we have, the better.’

Vandana Shiva warns us never to underestimate the duplicitous cunning behind megalomaniac Bill Gates’ vision for food monopoly, imposing toxic Big Ag global systems on all of us for his own corporate gain.

Watch; Bill Gates being the biggest farmland owner in America is the beginning of him wanting to be the biggest farmland owner of the world” UnHerd ’s Flo Read sits down with iconic eco-activist, Vandana Shiva, Unherd, 13th April 2024;

Vandana Shiva; “….climate offsets will be the way they’re going to grab the land. Ecomodernism is not a movement. Movements grow from the ground. A bunch of people getting together and writing rubbish is not a movement. Modernity and modernism has devastated the world. It begins with the assumption that nature is dead. We’re going to improve her. We’ll civilise the primitive people. That’s modernity. Colonialism is modernity. The reason it doesn’t hang together is because something that says we will trample on Nature can’t be the saviour of Nature. That’s why technofix won’t work, because ecology is about taking all costs into account and all relationships into account. The same companies who made chemicals, I call them the poison cartel, came up with genetic engineering and said, ‘now we will own the seed’. I was at a meeting where they were laying this out in 1987, and that’s when I started to save seeds. And now we’ve got this assumption that the future is farming without farmers. Mr Gates has thought this stage through, because Silicon Valley is guiding the next stage, both in terms of digital agriculture as well in terms of lab food.

Presenter; Let’s talk about Bill Gates then, because he’s now just become recently the greatest landowner in America. He owns more land than native american reservations own. He is the single greatest owner of farmland. So he would see himself, I’m sure, as the future of farming.

Shiva; He would. And we don’t.

Presenter; What is it about his way of doing it, the Silicon Valley way that is so repugnant to you?

Shiva; First, it’s based on total greed and total monopoly. So he talks about one aggregate. He quotes Gates Ag One is his vision. Gates Ag One. And the office of Gates Ag One is next to Monsanto headwaters. The second issue about all of this is that there’s not a word on nitrous oxide. And the same people who are trying to blame the farmers about the crisis are the ones pushing the next step of industrialization, food and farming. What was the problem with the industrial agriculture? The high energy use that you’re talking about, but high resource use, you need more land. They talk about land sparing. I’ve spent my lifetime showing that small scale biodiverse agriculture uses less land to produce more food. Industrial agriculture with monocultures has to grab more and more land. Just today, a study has come out that the lab food will need five times more soya bean as feedstock. Because nothing gets created out of the blue. The lab food will also need feedstock. It will also need energy. And it will need more energy and need more feedstock. More feedstock means more invasion of the Amazon. Now that’s the full picture that needs to be created. Of course, for Mr Gates it is brilliant. Even this net zero he’s come up with, the first time I read it was in his book. Saying net zero doesn’t mean we’ll reduce emissions, it just means we’ll have to find other lands to, to get our offsets. So they’ve worked out climate solutions, which are land grab solutions. They’re telling the farmer, get off the land, but saying, I’ll be the big landlord.”

I would love to live the Amish way of life. Over 100 years ago, they simply refused to modernise and thereby retained their traditional organic farming, horse and cart transport, self sufficiency, extended families and communities. Their numbers are expanding ….. Bring it on.

Watch; Amish barn raising: Building a barn in just one day.

“A barn raising is a community event at which all members of a community cooperate to build a barn or another structure, such as a home or church. Barn raisings were an integral part of life in Colonial America; a well organised barn raising would take less than a day to pull all of the materials needed together into a recognizable barn, although the structure might require some finishing later. By cooperating on projects like these, communities ensured that they grew and stayed strong…”

But the authorities in the US don’t like the Amish, because they are too independent. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) has set out to bring all food production under its authority. Even growing food for oneself on your own property would require a permit, and they want to extend their powers beyond Pennsylvania. This information is coming out as a result of the PDA’s ridiculous raw milk based case against an Amish farmer, Amos Miller. Robert Barnes is the defence attorney for Amos Miller.

Watch: “AMISH FARMER MOVES TO TRIAL” Robert Barnes on Next Steps 2024, The Shepherdess Podcast, 8th March 2024;

4.48; Interviewer: “You cited that the PDA was pushing for such extreme judgments against Miller that the judgments would set precedence to regulate food grown on private property for personal consumption. Was I understanding your statement correctly? Could you explain it a little bit? Further unpack it?”

Robert Barnes: “Yeah, this was actually the sworn testimony of the officials from the PDA itself. I asked them: ‘Do you believe you have the right to control and decide whether a person purchases food, possesses food, or produces food?’ and they said ‘Yes’. No food can be purchased, possessed or produced without their express permission, in advance, or it’s quote: “illegal food”. Indeed they want to treat food as illegal as crack cocaine. Apparently that’s how scary Amos Miller’s raw milk is. It’s more effective than crack according to the state of Pennsylvania and that’s why I’ve called the Secretary of Agriculture the Pope of Food, the self-declared Pope of Food.”

For some insight into what Amos Miller does for a living, take a look at his website here. He’s certainly no criminal – just an independent organic farmer.

The agonising truth is that our campaigning against cruel factory farms has fueled the false narrative that eating fake ‘novel’ meat is the way forward. Why is there  never any mention of eating pasture fed highly nutritious meat being the alternative?.  The novel foods industry has hijacked vegans’ understandable disgust at the cruelty at giant abattoirs. These economies of scale have replaced hundreds of small-scale local abattoirs where there was less distance for the animal to travel and a more humane slaughter system.

We must counter their clever PR by refusing to eat Frankenstein meat – it’s the next generation of junk food sold under the veil of ending animal cruelty and abating climate change.

Watch terrifying meme; Everybody will eat 3D printed meat!

The far left share the same concerns as the far right when it comes to eating lab meat! Instead of comparing left and right politics we should compare  common sense and  corporate brainwashing.

Read; Governor DeSantis Signs Legislation to Keep Lab-Grown Meat Out of Florida; May 1, 2024, in News Releases, by Staff

HARDEE COUNTY, Fla.—Today, Governor Ron DeSantis signed SB 1084 to prohibit the sale of lab-grown meat in the state of Florida. Florida is taking action to stop the World Economic Forum’s goal of forcing the world to eat lab-grown meat and insects, “an overlooked source of protein.” While the World Economic Forum is telling the world to forgo meat consumption, Florida is increasing meat production, and encouraging residents to continue to consume and enjoy 100% real Florida beef.

It is only because the true cost of factory farmed meat is not internalised into the retail price that pasture fed meat remains more expensive. Without legislation to stem the construction of factory farms, councils are reluctant to block planning permits in fear of the exorbitant costs of the factory farm continuously appealing.

Read; Furious villagers hit out at ‘outrageous’ plans to build a ‘mega-farm’ housing up to 870,000 chickens and 14,000 pigs which they claim will churn out foul smells and ruin their idyllic Norfolk living, Daily Mail, 19th April 2024;

‘Anxious villagers have attacked ‘outrageous’ plans to build a giant factory farm they describe as a ‘monstrosity right on our doorstep’.

Up to 870,000 chickens and 14,000 pigs will be housed just 400 yards apart at the site, which was once used as a World War II airfield.

Cranswick, the giant food firm behind the plans, insist the two developments between Methwold and Feltwell in Norfolk will operate separately as a ‘bio-precaution’.

But residents say it will amount to a huge ‘mega-farm’ which will churn out foul odours including ammonia fumes, generate swarms of flies and have thousands of lorries thundering past homes.

Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council is yet to rule on the two planning applications for the neighbouring units but has been flooded with objections.

MailOnline revealed this week how villagers living near a much smaller Cranswick chicken plant had been plagued with flies for the last two summers at Westhall, near Halesworth, Suffolk.

It has also reported how locals in Stow Bedon, Norfolk, were complaining of nose bleeds, headaches, breathing problems and spoiled food, which they blamed on the stench of ammonia from a Cranswick pig farm.

Former Methwold parish councillor Denise Charlesworth-Smith, who co-founded the Cranswick Objection Group to oppose the plans, said: ‘It is going to be factory farming on a monstrous scale’.

‘It is going to deal with well over four million chickens and 56,000 pigs every year and will have a massive effect on the lives of people who live locally.

‘It is totally out of keeping with the area. Some people think it will bring lots of jobs but everything will be automated and run with minimal staff.

‘I visited the farm at Stow Bedon and the smell was absolutely disgusting, even though it is much smaller than the pig unit that is proposed here.

‘My eyes were so bad as I was smarting from the ammonia when I was walking up to the site, even though I was told that it was not a particularly bad day.

‘I dread to think what it is going to be like round here for people who suffer respiratory problems like COPD if it goes ahead.’

Cranswick Objection Group’s website describes the combined units as ‘a monstrosity right on our doorstep’ and ‘an overwhelming catastrophe that could destroy our homes, our health and our landscape’.

The group claims the plans have been drawn up ‘without any consideration whatsoever to the local residents, wildlife and fauna.’

It adds: ‘Not only will the stench, the noise and the swarms of flies be sickening, but the additional HGV traffic on country roads will turn a simple journey for us into an absolute nightmare.’

Members of the group have accused former prime minister Liz Truss, who is their local South West Norfolk MP, of effectively snubbing them by not taking up their concerns.

They suggest that she is sympathetic to Cranswick as executives from the firm accompanied her on a trade trip to China to promote UK food and drink when she was Environment Secretary in 2015.’

In the past, Farms Not Factories has produced films to support local people’s campaigns against factory pig farms in Europe, US, Canada and South America, and against plans to build new ones in the UK at Foston Derbyshire and Limavady in N Ireland. In both cases the developers withdrew their applications after numerous requests for further information from the local councils resulting from well-resourced objections from the public. When sending objections its best to focus on damage to protected habitats, nitrate overload, damage to peoples’ health with stench and antibiotic-resistant bacteria, for which there is plenty of science back-up, and infringement of Article 8, ‘people’s right to enjoy their homes without incursions by noise, smell or emissions’. If you would like to object to the above gargantuan pig farm in conjunction with a mega-chicken unit a few hundred yards away, please sign PETA’s petition here, or send your own objections to C Dorgan, Case Officer, Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk. The Wye valley is inundated with factory chicken farms that crush thousands of birds into overcrowded barns while the waste pollutes the river with excess phosphates and ammonia. The protected Atlantic salmon could be extinct in the Wye within six years due to pollution levels, says the Wye Salmon Association.

Read and watch; Welcome to the UK’s Chicken Farm Capital where toxic gas is polluting the air iNews, 26 April 2024;

‘The UK has seen a boom in this type of intensive farming over the past decade, with recent research finding a 20 percent increase in “US-style megafarms” since 2016.

But in recent years the public has become increasingly aware of the environmental damage being caused by Britain’s appetite for cheap lean meat. The most well-known casualty is the River Wye, which runs along the border between England and Wales, and is feared to be dying as a result of agricultural pollution.

But another less visible form of pollution is also ringing alarm bells for environmentalists and those who live in the shadow of these “chicken factories”.

A joint investigation by i and The Bureau of Investigative Journalism has revealed a rise in emissions of ammonia, a potentially harmful pollutant, from poultry farms in regions that have seen a rapid growth in megafarms in recent years.

When ammonia travels in the wind it can mix with industrial and car fumes, creating a form of “particulate matter”, PM 2.5.

These tiny particles lodge in the lungs and bloodstream. They can be toxic to humans and have been found to cause respiratory problems, cardiovascular diseases, cognitive decline and low birth weights.

A Government advisory committee on air pollution has previously found that around 29,000 people die in the UK each year as a result of PM 2.5. PM 2.5 can be derived from other sources that are not ammonia, but one study previously found ammonia from agriculture is responsible for 60 per cent of these particles polluting air in the UK.

Studies have also found increased asthma in children living in areas with high ammonia emissions from agriculture.

While farms are primarily located in rural areas, a 2023 study by University College London researchers found that between 25 and 38 per cent of harmful air pollution in UK cities is the result of ammonia emissions from agriculture. This is because ammonia particles can stay suspended in the atmosphere for up to a couple of weeks so can travel far distances.

Ammonia can also kill plant life when found in high quantities in the air and can be poisonous to fish if too much ends up in rivers. This can happen when manure washes from fields into water courses when it rains, for example.’

Read; Stink or Swim: Ten factory farm corporations are producing more toxic excrement than the UK’s ten largest cities; Briefing by Friends of the Earth and Sustain;

‘Intensive agriculture is the main cause of river pollution incidents in England and is responsible for more pollution entering rivers than water companies. It has been linked to the ecological collapse of the river Wye in Wales and Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland. It is estimated that just ten large agribusinesses are responsible for the bulk of this waste. Collectively, they produce the equivalent of over 120 double decker busloads of excreta per hour – almost double what is produced by the 10 largest UK cities. These agribusinesses concentrate in certain areas of the UK and supply to all the major UK retailers. None have publicly available strategies capable of preventing this waste polluting our rivers and air. The companies named in this report were contacted for further information, and their responses are on the Sustain website. Much greater scrutiny and regulation of polluting agribusinesses is needed to meet targets for nature recovery, air and water pollution and climate change.’

A Summary of why we need to ‘decentralise our food system and empower small- and medium-scale food providers.’ Though focused on the US, economies of scale are a blight across the world.

Read; Food system disasters show the need to downsize and democratise, The Hill, 18 April 2024;

What do 18,000 cows killed on a farm in Texas last year have in common with 820,000 herring killed on salmon farms in British Columbia in 2022?

Answer: The ongoing industrialization of our food system.

We have created a food system that prioritises producing food in mass quantities at low costs. As others have put it,“supersized factory farms create supersized disasters.” Both the cows and the herring were killed in factory farm accidents caused by failures in operation and oversight.

Not only do these dynamics put the fish and livestock that we consume at risk, they also threaten the livelihoods of our nation’s food providers. As food production becomes more concentrated, fewer people are working the land and fishing our waters. That, in turn, has implications on food security — we got a taste of that when global supply chains faltered in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. During that time, robust local and regional food systems proved to be a bright spot in feeding people.

Thankfully, there is hope for local food economies in key pieces of legislation that have been introduced and could become part of the farm bill, specifically, The Farm System Reform Act, Fair Credit for Farmers Act, and Improving Agriculture, Research, Cultivation, Timber, and Indigenous Commodities (ARCTIC) Act. If these bills would become part of that omnibus piece of legislation that governs most facets of our food system, farmers and fishermen both would benefit with increased investments in markets, institutional oversight and infrastructure. Such initiatives would put us on the right track by decentralising our food system and empowering small- and medium-scale food providers.’

Read and Sign; World Bank: Stop Funding Factory Farming, Eko, April 2024;

‘International development banks are funding disastrous factory farming — poisoning our planet and leaving corporations in charge of our food.

Nitrogen pollution from U.S. mega-farms has already created gigantic ‘dead zones’ in the Gulf of Mexico, and it’s happening in Europe too. Now development banks are investing hundreds of millions into the industry to build more factory farms around the world.

But a new global campaign to end funding of industrial animal agriculture is ramping up, and helped persuade the Inter-American Development Bank to drop a $200 million beef industry loan. Now it’s time to target the World Bank — the biggest and most influential development bank of them all.

Tell the World Bank: stop funding industrial animal agriculture

The industrial food system is the leading cause of biodiversity loss via deforestation and synthetic pesticides and fertilisers for animal feed crops. That’s not “development” — it’s a DISASTER.

While many of us try to reduce our meat consumption for climate reasons and animal welfare, our governments indirectly fund the global expansion of monstrous factory farms. According to research by World Animal Protection, leading development banks, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank, IDB Invest, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank Group), invested $4.6B in the sector between 2010 and 2021.

But we’re not starting from zero: World Bank shareholders voted in October 2023 to update the Bank’s mission statement to explicitly include a commitment to addressing climate change, stating it will work “to create a world free of poverty on a liveable planet.”

Now it’s time to push the Bank further — to make the World Bank’s actions match its words.

Tell the World Bank: stop funding industrial animal agriculture

Activists from around the world, including Mexican Indigenous-Ngiwa defender Xananine Ramirez protested the World Bank’s Spring Meeting earlier this month in Washington DC. Media coverage of the impact of factory farming and the links to public development banks is increasing. Let’s all join in and push the World Bank to change before it’s too late!’

‘RSPCA launches immediate investigation and calls on government to end carbon dioxide killings. A worker hit pigs in the face and on their backs with a paddle as they prepared to put them into gas chambers to die, secret filming has revealed.

The video, taken at a slaughterhouse supplying supermarkets Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Aldi, as well as Marks and Spencer, includes rare footage of pigs being suffocated by carbon dioxide (CO2) for up to a minute.

The clip was taken at an abattoir owned and run by Cranswick Country Foods in Watton, Norfolk, and was for a documentary called Pignorant, which aims to highlight how most pigs are killed in UK abattoirs using the gas, which animal-welfare activists say is excruciatingly cruel.’

‘If you have a chicken, one chicken in your backyard, now you have to register with the government your one chicken. This is not a joke. What is the punishment for not registering your one chicken? It is six months prison. “What are you in for? Oh, I got three months for violent assault. What about you at six months for? I didn’t register my chicken. All right. Okay.” And what is the fine? It’s £5,000.

Now they’re saying it’s to protect the poultry industry from your birds. And I’ve got to show you this map in a moment because it was, it made me laugh so hard when I saw.. Someone has a gull, one gull. Another one had a goose, and they’ve registered their one goose. So now people are starting to register. One person’s got a duck. I just don’t know where to start with all of this.’

Lorna Lumsden sent the the above podcast with this comment on the proposed mandatory registration of small poultry flock from 1st October;

‘I see it as an encroachment on free range practice, a Big Brother approach to eliminating competition from factory farming industrial practices by making life as difficult and as bureaucratically complex as possible for small poultry keepers. Doubtless a licence fee will be introduced, if not immediately, it will creep in with some inane excuse about costs. Is someone with 3 chickens in a garden hutch likely to accommodate this bureaucracy? There will also doubtless be endless forms to complete. It is a scheme to discourage good, small-scale practice. dressed up as global infection control.

Free range pets kept in optimum conditions are much more resilient to infection with their strong immune systems, access to fresh air and clean, spacious housing at night. This proposal is bureaucracy Big Brother on steroids . Apparently the consultation process concluded that 75% were against the legislation but the government has gone ahead anyhow. https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/poultry-and-other-captive-birds-registration-in-great-britain/outcome/summary-of-responses-and-government-response) Disgraceful contempt for democracy. Clearly the Factory Farming lobbyists have done their job well.

Will hen rescue trusts feel the pinch? They will have little point if folk simply give up keeping rescue and small heritage flocks of hens.

It won‘t have any noticeable effect on the spread of bird flu which is created and distributed by the obscenity of factory farming practices globally – not just in the UK’.

We ran into the issue of anaerobic digesters when helping local people resist plans to build factory pig farms in their neighbourhoods. The developers were justifying the factory farms because the waste would generate energy in an Anaerobic Digester. What we discovered was that AD’s were a massive scam, attracting huge subsidies and requiring 50% green crops to make them work, while failing to eliminate toxic, antibiotic-resistant bacteria in the waste that would then be pumped onto fields, spreading diseases to people living or even walking nearby.

Read; Biogas From Mega-Dairies Is a Problem, Not a Solution, Modern Farmer, 15th April 2024;

‘At the end of February, the town board of Lind, Wisconsin voted against changing the zoning laws to allow a nearby 600-cow dairy to install an anaerobic digester. These digesters are becoming more common, particularly at larger dairy operations housing thousands of cows, called concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs). This is partially because they have been included as a key ingredient in the Biden administration’s pledge to reduce methane emissions in animal agriculture.

At CAFOs, it is common to pool animal waste in one spot, called a manure lagoon. Anaerobic digestion creates a mixture of gases, which can be used for electricity or further processed into fuel for vehicles. The idea is to take advantage of these large quantities of waste to create something useful and reduce methane emissions, helping the climate along the way.

However, that’s not quite how it works out. In Lind, an overwhelming number of citizens showed up for a public hearing to discuss the change—the Wisconsin Examiner reported that there were so many attendees, they exceeded the capacity of the building and the meeting had to be cancelled. Community organisers, under the group name Citizens Protecting Rural Wisconsin, argued that digesters aren’t the solution that they seem to be.

A new report by Friends of the Earth US and Socially Responsible Agriculture Project (SRAP) backs up that sentiment. The study suggests that methane digesters create incentives for the growth of industrial agriculture, further entrenching food systems that harm both people and the environment.’

Unless the food is labelled Organic or chemical free, it simply cant be trusted. Unless we buy it, our farmers won’t produce it. It isn’t fair that it is not affordable for many but where there is a will, there is a way.

Read; ‘Forever chemicals’ found in more than half of food and drink samples, testing shows Sky News, 9 April 2024;

‘The government should ban 25 pesticides which contain so-called “forever chemicals”, campaigners have said, as the potentially harmful toxins were found in more than half of the tested food and drinks available to Britons.

PFA chemicals (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), toxins which take centuries to break down in the environment, were found in more than 3,300 samples tested by the UK government in 2022.

As PFAs can accumulate in living organisms and have been linked to serious health conditions, campaign group Pan UK has called for the 25 PFA pesticides being used in the UK to be banned, including six classified as “highly hazardous”.

Out of all the items tested, strawberries were found to be the worst-affected as 95% of the 120 tested samples contained PFAs.

The foods and drinks were tested for residues of around 401 pesticides, according to a report from the Environment Department’s advisory committee on pesticide residues (PRiF).’

Yew Tree Farm is Bristol’s last working farm and, as a designated site of nature conservation, it should be saved from yet more house building and development as a cemetery. At the Sunday Tobacco Factory Market, the Yew Tree farmer Catherine Withers sells pork and bacon burgers from her high welfare pigs to queues of Bristolians. The council must stop kow-towing to developers wanting cheap land and insist that all developments are on brownfield sites. Local conservationists, residents and customers are up in arms.

Read; ‘All I want is proper and best practice for this precious and rare habitat’ Catherine Withers, 18 March 2024;

‘Yew Tree Farm escarpment is a protected view from both Clifton Suspension Bridge and Ashton Court Estate, a prominent hillside, and a site of nature conservation interest (SNCI) which should be protected from any harm. Dormice numbers have declined by 70 per cent in 24 years. On this basis, we have just nine years left before they are extinct. To have them on Yew Tree Farm should be treasured.

When considering Yew Tree Farm, all appropriate surveys should have been undertaken. They were not. We are missing up to date and full bat surveys, otter surveys, invertebrate surveys, winter bird and breeding bird surveys, and reptile surveys. This application to expand South Bristol Cemetery should have been refused on this alone. More importantly, on February 4, after outline planning had been approved, we received a Freedom of Information report that confirmed that council officers knew of an active dormouse nest in the meadow at Yew Tree Farm in February 2023.

There is also another confirmed nest in a part of the proposed crematorium site proving that an active and rare colony of the endangered species exists here. This information was not shared with planning committee members or the public in either the meetings in September or November. Why was this information hidden?

The Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 protects dormice and yet we have read that Rees (the outgoing Mayor of Bristol) is encouraging officers not to adhere to this legislation. It is crucial that full summer dormice surveys are carried out from April to September to properly determine dormice activity on the fields.

I pray my grandchildren will be proud of their nanny trying desperately to look after Bristol’s dormice population on this wonderful nature rich farm.I lament that in the last few hours before the pre-election period, Bristol’s outgoing mayor Rees chose his last political statement to be vilifying a grandmother who solely wants proper and best practice for a precious and rare habitat.’

We know that we can start to build up a big platform and then enable more public institutions to benefit.”‘

A good news story of a farmer who feeds us in symbiosis with nature. What’s called land sharing as opposed to land sparing. To reduce the cost, buy a whole block of his organic cheese and share it with your neighbours.

Read; The Rise of the Carbon Farmer, The Wire, 18th April 2024;

‘Farmers around the world are reigniting the less intensive agricultural practices of yesteryear—to improve soil health, raise yields, and trap carbon in the atmosphere back down in the soil.’

Patrick Holden strolls across the field, pausing from time to time to bend and point out a bumblebee, or a white butterfly, or a dung beetle. A wide expanse of blue sky stretches above. Beneath, undulating green hills, sprawling hedgerows, a horizon broken only by the jagged tips of Wales’ Cambrian mountain range. Sun-soaked goodness.

“Can you see that bumblebee working the clover?” he asks, voice breathy with exertion. “The bird life, insects, butterflies, small mammals, and bats … the biodiversity of this place is unbelievable.” This is all here, he says, because he’s farming in harmony with nature.

The secret to this small oasis, Holden says, is the way he works his land. He is one of a growing number of farmers shaking off conventional methods and harnessing practices to rebuild soil health and fertility—cover crops, minimal tilling, managed grazing, diverse crop rotations. It is a reverse revolution in some ways, taking farming back to what it once was, when yield was not king, industrialization not the norm, and small farms dabbled in many things rather than specialising in one.

Holden’s main crops are oats and peas, sown in rotation with grassland to build soil fertility. These are then turned into a “muesli” used as additional feed for his grass-fed cattle and his pigs. The pigs’ manure fertilises the land. The glossy Ayrshire cows are milked and the milk curdled into the farm’s award-winning cheddar cheese. Woven through everything is the intention to work with and mimic nature.

The purported benefits are profound: Healthy soil retains water and nutrients, supports biodiversity, reduces erosion, and produces nutritious food. Soil’s secret sauce is carbon. The more in the soil, the greater its resilience to erosion, flooding, and drought, and the greater the yields for farmers. And numerous studies (from the likes of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to the United Nations) illustrate that the best way to achieve this is through regenerative methods. “People have been farming that way for millennia,” Crawford says. “You could say it’s just good practice. If you follow those principles, you will improve soil health. I see the evidence.” So does Holden, in the flourishing wildlife that calls his land home.’

With cheap imports flooding into the UK, farmers need a basic income to supplement the pittance paid by supermarkets. Meanwhile, we must support our farmers by only buying from local farms that you trust to produce meat and veg to the standards you want. Check out the label in shops or go online and buy from trusted sources like Riverford, Primal Meats or Pipers Farm.

‘We’re excited to share BI4FARMERS first discussion paper “Sowing the Seeds of Stability: The case for basic income for farmers, farmworkers and food producers in the UK ” produced in collaboration with The Basic Income Conversation and progressive think tank Autonomy.

This discussion paper draws on four sessions with farmers and growers about their lived experience and research on basic income and the UK farming sector. It outlines the current challenges in UK farming, how a basic income could uniquely meet the needs of farmers and perhaps most importantly, lays out the key areas and big questions the work to date has highlighted that should form the basis of further work.

– A basic income for farmers would be a regular, unconditional cash payment directly made to farmers and agricultural workers.
In the UK, there has been a comprehensive investigation of potential basic income pilots in Scotland, and in Wales there is an ongoing basic income pilot for care leavers.
In Ireland, a basic income for artists scheme launched in 2022. Over 100 pilots have been proposed in the USA and dozens others globally.’

Ruth West; “Farming went wrong when it was deemed to be a business like any other. Farming isn’t like that. Farmers are there to care for the biosphere, to produce good food, nutritious food, to care for the animals and everything else like that. And it’s a totally different approach to a livelihood. You’ve got a lifestyle that’s wonderful and conducive. You’re producing good food for people. It’s a short supply chain, you know, your customers. This is a whole different scenario. That’s the way that the Oxford Farming Conference would see it; that we need to change our whole farming system to one that’s agro-ecologically based.”

Read; Assange Fate:

On May 20, 2024, the UK court will decide whether to extradite Julian Assange, the Australian founder of WikiLeaks, to the United States, where he faces charges for publishing classified documents revealing US war crimes and human rights abuses. This decision has sparked global attention, with concerns over press freedom and the potential violation of Assange’s rights. Supporters argue that Assange’s actions were in the public interest and that prosecuting him threatens press freedom worldwide. The Australian government and various organisations have called for Assange’s release, with some suggesting the use of diplomatic or military pressure to secure his return to Australia. The decision will be made at the Royal Courts of Justice in London, with supporters urged to gather from 8.30am Mon 20 MAY to show the assembled press and judges entering the court that they demand Julian’s freedom.

Read or listen; Assange’s reprieve is another lie, hiding the real goal of keeping him endlessly locked up; Jonathan Cook; March 26th

‘The interminable and abhorrent saga of Julian Assange’s incarceration for the crime of journalism continues. And once again, the headline news is a lie, one designed both to buy our passivity and to buy more time for the British and US establishments to keep the Wikileaks founder permanently disappeared from view.’

‘Washington’s true intentions are already more than clear: the US spied on Assange’s every move while he was under the protection of the Ecuadorian embassy, violating his lawyer-client privilege; and the CIA plotted to kidnap and assassinate him.

Both are grounds that alone should have seen the case thrown out.

But there is nothing normal – or legal – about the proceedings against Assange. The case has always been about buying time. To disappear Assange from public view. To vilify him. To smash the revolutionary publishing platform he founded to help whistleblowers expose state crimes. To send a message to other journalists that the US can reach them wherever they live should they try to hold Washington to account for its criminality.

And worst of all, to provide a final solution for the nuisance Assange had become for the global superpower by trapping him in an endless process of incarceration and trial that, if it is allowed to drag on long enough, will most likely kill him.

Today’s ruling is most certainly not a “reprieve”. It is simply another stage in a protracted, faux-legal process designed to provide constant justifications for keeping Assange behind bars, and never-ending postponements of judgement day, when either Assange is set free or the British and US justice systems are exposed as hand servants of brutish, naked power.’

Watch; Assange Assurances: An Australian Response Consortiumnews.com, 24th April 2024;

Greg Barns, an Australian lawyer; Federal Senator David Shoebridge; and retired diplomat Alison Broinowski are interviewed by Cathy Vogan.

‘Some members of the Australian legal, political and diplomatic community are troubled by a U.S. assurance that signals Julian Assange would be “potentially very greatly prejudiced” in a U.S. court, as British judges anticipated, given that foreign nationals who acted abroad do not have constitutional rights.

Stating that Assange is able to “seek to rely” on such rights as the First Amendment, the assurance makes no mention of what is “long-settled” law, according to Justice Brett Kavanaugh in the Supreme Court USAID v. Open Society case of 2020. This and other precedents establish that he could be denied these rights.’

Censorship of any journalism that dares to challenge zionist lies is alive and well at LBC.

Watch; Did LBC Fire Sangita Myska for Critcising Israel? Novara Media, 30 April 2024;

‘Broadcaster Sangita Myska hasn’t appeared on LBC since a fiery exchange with Israeli spokesperson Avi Hyman. On Novara Live, @michaeljswalker analysed whether Myska has been fired by LBC for criticising Israel.

Michael Walker; Gita Myska has vanished from the station’s airwaves and no one knows exactly why. She last appeared on the station on the 14 April. That was the day after Iran mounted its missile attack on Israel, which was in response to Israel having bombed its consulate in Syria on that day. Myska conducted this interview with Israeli government spokesperson Avi Hyman.

Gita; What Israel did, by taking that action against Iran, escalated to what is already an incredibly fragile situation.

Avi Hyman; Sangita, that’s an outrageous framing of the reality.

Gita; It’s not an outrageous framing. I’ve just been speaking to somebody who is a diplomat to Iran from the UK government. That’s not an outrageous framing of it. What Israel did was strike what is considered in diplomatic circles the sovereign territory of Iran, whether we like it or not. And there was undoubtedly going to be a blowback. So did Israel game out what was going to happen next?

Avi Hyman; Firstly, I’m not going to speak directly to that strike. What I can say definitively, and this is why it’s outrageous, I can say definitively, is that that wasn’t an embassy, it wasn’t a consulate, it wasn’t any type of diplomatic mission.

Gita; It’s been widely reported as that.

Avi Hyman; That’s what Iran says is that’s what Iran says. So would you like to copy and paste?

Gita; Are you suggesting every single news organisation in the world has got that wrong?

Avi Hyman; No, I’m suggesting that the Iranians have an interest to say that that was a diplomatic mission when we know definitively it wasn’t. Okay, because they then want to give you the response that you’ve just copied and pasted, with all due respect,

Michael Walker; Sangita Myska’s framing of the situation was not outrageous, as the spokesperson said. But Myska hasn’t been on LBC since. The Metro newspaper has approached both LBC and Myska for comment, though nobody has said why the host is off air. Listeners, though, are drawing their own conclusions. A change.org petition to reinstate Meiske was launched last week, and it’s already gained over 18,000 signatures. Politicians have been demanding answers, too. This was from Labour’s John McDonnell, ‘Sangita Myska serves as a beacon of fair and balanced professional journalism. This decision smacks of censorship.’

Please sign the Change.org petition to re-instate Gita Myska.

Tucker Carlson talks about how politicians are threatened and manipulated by unelected powers. He talks in terms of the US, but it can, and does, happen in other countries too. Is that why our politicians act against the wishes of the electorate so often?

Watch: Tucker Carlson Drops A Bone-Chilling Reality from Joe Rogan via VigilantFox, ‘X’, 20th April 2024;

“Members of Congress are terrified of the intel agencies. I’m not guessing at that. They’ve told me that, including people who run the intel committee.”

“I said to somebody, a very powerful person, the other day, in a conversation in my kitchen, an elected official — holds a really senior position… But I was like, ‘All these people are controlled. They’ve all got weird s*x lives, and all these things they’re hiding, and they’re being blackmailed by the intel agencies.’ And he said, and I’m quoting, ‘I know.’ I was like, okay, so at this point, we’re just sort of admitting that’s real? Like, why do we allow that to continue?”

Assassination must be the ultimate tool of the Deep State. Donald Trump has information but he’s keeping it quiet.

Watch: You promised you would release the records of the JFK assassination. Judge Napolitano, 21 March 2024;

0:33 Judge Napolitano: “I said (to Donald Trump), you promised you would release the records of the JFK assassination. He said to me “Judge, if they showed you what they showed me, you wouldn’t have released it either.” And I said “Who’s they, and what did they show you?” And then he said “Judge, someday when we’re on the phone” – and then he raised his voice – “and there aren’t 15 people listening to the phone call” – back to a normal voice – “I’ll tell you.”

“Oh my God I mean this makes it sound even worse. Who are they? Probably somebody in the intelligence Community. What did they show him? JFK’s brains blown out?”

Jeffrey Sachs: “This is it. You know, it was said by one person that after the Kennedy assassination there has been no president, they have only been factotums of the system since then. it may well be the most decisive event in modern American history.”

Germany sinks into an Orwellian nightmare where militarised police close down free speech with violence, imprisonment and deportations from the country.

Watch or Read; Yanis Varoufakis Banned from Germany as Berlin Police Raid & Shut Down Palestinian Conference Democracy Now, 16 April 2024;

Amy Goodman – presenter; ‘As Germany intensifies its crackdown on pro-Palestinian voices, we speak with Greek economist and politician Yanis Varoufakis, one of the planned speakers at a conference in Berlin last weekend that was forcibly shut down by police. The Palestine Congress was scheduled to be held for three days, but police stormed the venue as the first panellist spoke. Germany’s Interior Ministry had also banned some conference speakers from even entering the country, including Varoufakis, the Palestinian British surgeon Ghassan Abu-Sittah and the Palestinian researcher Salman Abu Sitta. “This is not about protecting Jewish lives and Jews from antisemitism. It’s all about protecting the right of Israel to commit any war crime of its choice,” says Varoufakis.’

YANIS VAROUFAKIS: ‘To give you a vignette, Amy, of the absurdity – which would have been funny if it wasn’t so tragic – of what went on during the morning. Just before the police burst in, as you described so accurately, there was a young man who — an attendee of the congress, a member of the Jewish Voice for Peace, which together with the MERA25, DiEM25, we co-organized the Palestine Congress. And this young man, as he approached the police cordon – there were two-and-a-half thousand policemen preventing our attendees from attending the congress – anyway, he was approaching, and he had a little placard that he had written with his own hand, and it read “Jews against genocide.” And for that, he was apprehended, arrested, manhandled. And while the police were manhandling him, he turned around humorfully, or half-jokingly, and said to them, “Would it have been all right with you if it said ‘Jews in favor of genocide’?” at which point, of course, they were far more angered and manhandled him even more fiercely. I’m conveying this to you, Amy, and to our listeners and viewers because this shows the absurdity of the whole thing.

The police entered the building, the venue, a few minutes before I was due to deliver my talk via video link. As a result, what I did was, I recorded my talk, and I posted it online from Greece, from Athens, where I’m even now. And the next day, I found out that a ban, as you put it, was slapped on me by the German authorities, a ban that harks back to laws against Nazism, a law that has only been used recently for ISIS operatives. That was used against me.’

In a mockery of the so called ‘Free Press’, The New York Times continues its long tradition of bias, spin and misinformation, presumably to appease their zionist funders, and to make sure that the pro-zionist corporations don’t withdraw their advertising accounts.

Read; LEAKED NYT GAZA MEMO TELLS JOURNALISTS TO AVOID WORDS “GENOCIDE,” “ETHNIC CLEANSING,” AND “OCCUPIED TERRITORY” The Intercept, 15 April 2024;

‘THE NEW YORK TIMES instructed journalists covering Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip to restrict the use of the terms “genocide” and “ethnic cleansing” and to “avoid” using the phrase “occupied territory” when describing Palestinian land, according to a copy of an internal memo obtained by The Intercept.

The memo also instructs reporters not to use the word Palestine “except in very rare cases” and to steer clear of the term “refugee camps” to describe areas of Gaza historically settled by displaced Palestinians expelled from other parts of Palestine during previous Israeli–Arab wars. The areas are recognized by the United Nations as refugee camps and house hundreds of thousands of registered refugees.

The memo — written by Times standards editor Susan Wessling, international editor Philip Pan, and their deputies — “offers guidance about some terms and other issues we have grappled with since the start of the conflict in October.”

While the document is presented as an outline for maintaining objective journalistic principles in reporting on the Gaza war, several Times staffers told The Intercept that some of its contents show evidence of the paper’s deference to Israeli narratives.

In January, The Intercept published an analysis of New York Times, Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times coverage of the war from October 7 through November 24 — a period mostly before the new Times guidance was issued. The Intercept analysis showed that the major newspapers reserved terms like “slaughter,” “massacre,” and “horrific” almost exclusively for Israeli civilians killed by Palestinians, rather than for Palestinian civilians killed in Israeli attacks.

The analysis found that, as of November 24, the New York Times had described Israeli deaths as a “massacre” on 53 occasions and those of Palestinians just once. The ratio for the use of “slaughter” was 22 to 1, even as the documented number of Palestinians killed climbed to around 15,000.

The latest Palestinian death toll estimate stands at more than 33,000, including at least 15,000 children — likely undercounts due to Gaza’s collapsed health infrastructure and missing persons, many of whom are believed to have died in the rubble left by Israel’s attacks over the past six months.’

Watch; David Webb/Great Taking: Legal Framework Set to Seize ALL Our Assets: What You Need to Know 22 April 2024;

David Webb; ‘The power behind all of this is the private control of the central banks. And when you look around the world, they are all privately controlled. You are not allowed to know, actually who controls the Federal Reserve and how it is controlled. We know that it is controlled somehow by a set of banks. So there is some kind of an ownership structure that extends through the banks that own and control the Fed. But something like this is done in all central banks around the world. If you notice, any country that has attempted to have a national bank is literally attacked and destroyed. They’re not allowed to exist.

So it is linked with the war machine, this private control of money. The intelligence agencies, the militaries globally, would not be able to function as they are if they weren’t linked with this money creation power. We now know that when we were kids, perhaps we thought that the money you borrowed from the bank is someone else’s, of savings that they’re giving you. It’s a zero sum game. I think we now know, with the scale of the money created during the COVID period, that that is not the case. The scale outstrips any real world activity, and it’s just created out of thin air. So this is the power that controls everything. They control all political parties, all governments, all the major corporations, the media. And this was the case leading into the 20th century. In this period when the velocity of money was collapsing, that is basically a collapse of their control system.

The money is a very sophisticated control system because it requires almost no energy input. People are directed by chasing money incentives. But this power, through chronic overuse, when it reaches this point, where no matter how much money is created, it’s not translating into actual economic growth, then it goes into a financial bubble, and then you get the major collapse of the whole system. Then they must have a plan to stay in control through that collapse, which will require physical control over people through the reset, because the money control system has broken down. So this is why you have a period of terrible instability.

So as we were entering the 20th century, the velocity of money was collapsing. Then the Qing dynasty collapsed. It’s a global phenomenon that ended dynastic rule in China. Then in the period 1914 and 1918, the Turk, Ottoman Empire collapsed, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Russian Empire, Germany was destroyed, and the British Empire had passed its zenith and was really collapsing at that point. So it’s a global collapse, and the people that controlled the banking power through that, managed to stay in control, and they did it by subjugating populations. It’s not about taking their money, it’s not about taking their stuff, which they don’t need. It’s about suppression and subjugation. And that’s the lesson when you look at this period in the 1930s. And that is what they have planned for this kind of a cycle again, and they’ve set up for it. So this plan to take all collateral globally and to collapse the system in a kind of controlled demolition, where they end up controlling everything – this design was set in motion over 50 years ago.’

The Australian bank Macquarie, aka The Vampire Kangaroo, the main lender behind the Wiltshire Solar Panel scandal, led a consortium that owned Thames Water when it was borrowing money to pay shareholder dividends rather than investing new capital, which might have prevented the present scenario where Thames Water is about to go bankrupt with debts of £18.3 billion, is overcharging consumers and regularly dumping sewage into rivers.

Read; What next for Thames Water? Financial Times, 29 March 2023;

‘When the former prime minister Margaret Thatcher privatised the water monopolies in 1989, she wiped out their debt. Since then, Thames Water’s group borrowings have grown to £18.3bn as the company passed from owner to owner. By 2006, when the Australian asset management firm Macquarie bought Thames Water from the Germany utility group RWE, the water company had £3.4bn in debt. By the time Macquarie sold its final stake in Thames Water in 2017, the company had spent £11bn from customer bills on infrastructure. But far from injecting any new capital in the business — one of the original justifications for privatisation — £2.7bn had been taken out in dividends and £2.2bn in loans, according to research by the Financial Times.

Meanwhile, the pension deficit grew from £18mn in 2006 to £380mn in 2017. Thames Water’s debt also increased steeply from £3.4bn in 2007 to £10.8bn at the point of sale. Now Thames Water says it will not be able to deliver its turnaround plan if it does not receive more cash from shareholders. More than half of Thames Water’s debt is index-linked, according to rating agency S&P, burdening it with higher interest repayments as inflation soared over the past 18 months. The utility may also face large fines as part of the Environment Agency’s criminal investigation into alleged failings at sewage treatment works.

Thames Water is politically controversial for two reasons. First, it is part of a hugely unpopular industry that regularly ejects sewage into Britain’s beaches and rivers. Second, critics see the highly indebted behemoth as proof that water privatisation was a huge mistake.

Although neither Labour nor the Conservatives are calling for renationalisation, there is growing pressure from the public, as 69 per cent of people believe water companies should be nationalised, according to a YouGov poll in June last year.’

Covid/Vaccines Scam and Pandemic Treaty

The WHO seem to be backing down in their attempts at world domination as they have changed their recommendations to no longer being binding. Should we trust the WHO now? Absolutely not! However, it’s good to know that public pressure is working. You’ll see more of it reported below this article from Peter Imanuelsen, aka Peter Sweden.

Read: HUGE: The WHO is BACKING DOWN on the pandemic treaty Peter Imanuelsen, The Peter Sweden Substack, 22nd April 2024;

‘In the latest draft of the WHO pandemic treaty, they appear to be BACKING DOWN, removing some of the most draconian rules. This doesn’t mean that everything is all good, but this is definitely a good start and a massive victory for freedom.’

‘ . . when you look at Article 18 in the pandemic treaty and see what kind of recommendations the WHO could come up with, things get pretty scary.

For example, they can recommend the following.

– require medical examinations;
– review proof of vaccination or other prophylaxis;

– require vaccination or other prophylaxis;
– implement quarantine or other health measures for suspect persons;
– implement isolation and treatment where necessary of affected persons;
– implement tracing of contacts of suspect or affected persons.

This means in reality that countries could have been required to vaccinate people, implement vaccine passports and put people in quarantine if the WHO said so.

Because Article 13A.1 has been removed, it seems that these recommendations are no longer binding. They are still there, but countries aren’t bound to have to follow them.’

We must get informed and support campaigns to exit the WHO and its latest abomination, the Pandemic Agreement that will remove human rights protections, enforce censorship and digital passports, require governments to push a single “official” narrative, and enable the WHO to declare “pandemics” on a whim.

Watch: The WHO Pandemic Agreement is a “soft coup” Dr Meryl Nass at the European Parliament, Wide Awake Media on ‘X’, 12th April 2024;

Dr. Meryl Nass: “We’re undergoing a soft coup, and the idea is to create a whole new set of laws and ignore the existing human rights laws and other laws under the pretext of pandemic preparedness and the biosecurity agenda the WHO is developing through all its nations. But with the WHO Directorate and the United States in charge, a pandemic treaty and amendments to the existing international health regulations that will remove the human rights protections currently embedded in the IHRS (International Human Rights Standards), will enforce surveillance, censorship, get rid of freedom of speech, require governments to censor and only push a single narrative. Also, we will be subject, if they can make this work, to vaccines developed in 100 days, which the organisation CEPI (The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations) is planning to do. And one of the people who founded CEPI was Jeremy Farrar, who is now the chief scientist at the WHO.

To bring this forward, other things that amendments do is to bind the state, so there are no longer recommendations, but enforceable edicts, provide a liability shield, get rid of intellectual property rights, move supplies from one country to another, enforce digital passports. And the Director General of WHO can demand that a pandemic or a potential pandemic exists. He can just declare it with no standards, and then countries around the world will have to obey. Also, the WHO will tell you what drugs you can and can’t use in your nation. Once a pandemic is declared, obviously the budget will increase. One Health is another part of this. One Health is a concept that was created to enable the WHO, with these documents, to take over jurisdiction of everything in the world by saying that climate change, animals, plants, water systems, ecosystems are all central to health. Also embedded in this concept is a peculiar notion that humans are no longer of greater value than animals.”

Here, we vow to protect our children, to protect Japan. Andrew Bridgen finally got his parliamentary motion on the COVID-19 pandemic response and trends in excess deaths. The Hansard report is here and below is Andrew Bridgen’s opening speech. (The full debate can be watched here.)

Watch: UK Parliament – Andrew Bridgen MP – Trends in Excess Deaths.

Andrew Bridgen: “We are witnesses to the greatest medical scandal in this country in living memory, possibly ever. The excess deaths in 2022 and 2023 is that scandal. Its causes are complex, but the novel and untested medical treatment described as a COVID vaccine is a large part of the problem.”

“I say it in all seriousness, this debate and others like it, is going to be pored over by future generations. And they will be genuinely agog that the evidence has been ignored for so long, and that genuine concerns were disregarded and those raising them were gaslit, smeared and vilified. And you don’t need any science training at all to be horrified by officials deliberately hiding key data in this scandal. And that’s exactly what’s going on. Madam Deputy Speaker, the Office of National Statistics used to release weekly data on deaths per hundred thousand in vaccinated and unvaccinated populations. It no longer does that, and no one will explain why. The public has a right to that data. Madam Deputy Speaker, there have been calls from serious experts whose requests either amplified repeatedly in this House for what’s called record level data to be anonymized and disclosed for analysis. And this would allow meaningful analysis of the deaths after vaccination and settle the issue of whether these experimental treatments are responsible for the increase in excess deaths once and for all.

Far more extensive and detailed data has already been released to the pharma companies from publicly funded bodies. Jenny Harris, head of the UK Health Security Agency, said this anonymized aggregate death by vaccination status is commercially sensitive and shouldn’t be published. The public is being denied this data. This is unacceptable, Madam Deputy Speaker. Yet again, data is hidden with impunity, just like the post office scandal. Professor Harris has also endorsed a recent massive change in the calculation of the baseline population level used by the ONS to calculate excess deaths. And it’s incredibly complex and opaque. And by sheer coincidence, it now appears to show that there’s a massive excess of deaths in 2020 and 2021, and now a minimal excess deaths in 2023. Under the old calculation method, tried and tested for decades, the excess death rate in 2023 was an astonishing 5%, long after the pandemic was over. And when you would expect a deficit in deaths because so many people had sadly died in previous years, 20,000 premature deaths are now being airbrushed away in 2023 alone, with a new normal baseline in March.”

BOMBSHELL: AstraZeneca ADMITTED side effect of covid vaccine

Massive news as the pharmaceutical giant has admitted in court that their Covid19 vaccine can cause rare blood clotting side effect. PETER IMANUELSEN, 29th April, 2024;

‘This is absolutely huge news.

AstraZeneca has just admitted IN COURT that their covid injection can indeed cause a deadly side effect that causes blood clots.

They are currently being sued in a class action lawsuit from victims that have suffered after being lied to by the “experts” about “safe and effective”, with lawyers saying that the AstraZeneca vaccine is DEFECTIVE.

It is in this lawsuit that AstraZeneca admitted that their covid vaccine “can, in very rare cases, cause TTS”.

There we have it – The TRUTH is FINALLY beginning to come out after all these years!

It is short for Thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome, but it is also known as vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT).

Those are very long and fancy words, but essentially what it means is that a person gets BOTH blood clots and low blood platelet counts.

Meaning that people can get both blood clots AND internal bleeding at the same time.’

MIT has been a leader in the technocratic transhumanist actualization of creating technology that fuse humans with machines. Notable technocratic transhumanists are Ray Kurzweil and Ido Bachelet – the first discusses nanobots and nanotechnology as the key technological platform to achieve the singularity and human-machine fusion and the latter actually developed the nanobots, collaborated with Pfizer and was happy to have billions of bots in one syringe.

I show all the time in interviews so people understand the correlation between the Pfizer C19 bioweapons and the self assembly nanotechnology and nanorobots currently found in every human being. Where are the nanobots that Ido Bachelet talked about?

Russia / Ukraine conflict

RUSSIA

If Ukraine loses the war before the US election, Biden will have that result added to his list of vote-losing failures. That is why the US government is insisting on sending more military assistance to Ukraine.

Watch: Preventing Ukraine collapse during US election The Duran, 21st April.

11 minutes: Alexander Mercouris: “The game for me was given away by a statement made by the CIA director, William Burns. He says ‘if Ukraine doesn’t get more support, there’s a real chance that before the end of this year, Ukraine will collapse’. Whereas if he is given more military support, he is confident that it can see 2024 through what happens at the end of the year. What happens, to be precise? In November, is the election. So this whole thing is about preventing a Ukrainian collapse before the election.”

If Ukraine loses in the NATO proxy war with Russia, “it will be the end of Western hegemony”, lamented former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Ben Norton explains the geopolitics of the conflict, and how most of the Global South has not joined the Global North in opposing Moscow.

Watch; If Ukraine loses war, it will be ‘end of Western hegemony’ Ben Norton, Geopolitical Economy Report, 23rd April 2024;

3.30: “Here you have Boris Johnson coming out publicly and saying well this is actually a war to save Western hegemony this also explains why Boris Johnson did everything he could to prevent peace and to kill peace talks between Russia and Ukraine back when he was prime minister and since he left office in fact the Ukrainian media has reported that Boris Johnson played a key role in pressuring Ukraine to oppose any peace talks with Russia.”

5:42: “Boris Johnson was sent to kill any possibility of peace to destroy the possibility of peace talks and this article notes that three days after Boris Johnson left Kiev Putin went public and said talks with Ukraine quote “had turned into a dead end”.”

10.37: “The war in Ukraine has really been a wakeup call for the West on many fronts. In fact, back in 2022, Newsweek published an article titled “Nearly 90% of the world is not following us on Ukraine” and this article was written by two former US ambassadors top officials from the US state department and the Pentagon and they acknowledged in this article that when it comes to the war in Ukraine, 87% of the world’s population has not been following the West.”

12.16: “87% of the world population in the global South has not joined them in the proxy war against Russia. Most countries in the world are neutral. The vast majority are neutral, but instead of accepting the decline of Western hegemony and trying to live more peacefully with the rest of the world, what we see is that the West is doubling down and now there are many calls for Europe to send troops to Ukraine to join directly in the war against Russia to turn the proxy war into a direct war against Russia!”

Below is an illuminating discussion about how economic globalisation became the mantra mandated on the world by Western imperialist powers and has led to the wars they are waging in the Middle East and Russia today.

Watch; End of the Globalists w/ Jay Dyer; The Duran; 30 Apr 2024

“Let’s start with globalism itself. What is it? There was this sort of selling point some decades ago after the cold war that under the guise of Economics we might achieve this new peaceful order. If you go back to the enlightenment there’s a little known Treatise that Emanuel Kant wrote that I think is very influential. He wrote in that treatise that, when we had full on Laissez-faire free trade etc, when that was fully realised, we would have what he basically calls, ‘A New World Order’; a kind of global peace, based around Homo economicus; that man, seen only as an economic unit. If viewed in that way, and if understood in that way, if that’s the case, which I think they just all sort of assumed at that time; David Ricardo and Adam Smith and all these characters, that really that would be the way that we would achieve this future order. They had a lot of opposition from what I believe was kind of their dialectical opposition as the Western ideology progresses towards the rise of things like socialism after the Jacobin and the Communists come about.”

“The hope is the Democratic capitalist liberal order, that would be then preferred and promoted and mandated on the entire world. So is that really a solution? Is it really the final stage of Fukiyama type stuff. I don’t think so. I think it’s unsustainable. He says basically that the two enemies that would have to be combated by the Atlanticist Establishment would be the Austro Hungarian Empire and Russia. These two would have to be taken out. It’s a sort of continuation of The Great Game and that’s what we’re living out. I think that world reality right now, as we see this conflict through both the Middle Eastern conflicts and the conflict in the Ukraine, they both kind of reflect the older British imperial strategy and structure going back to Mender and people like that. So that’s what we’re living through. That’s The Hope according to the Atlanticist establishment but ultimately I think that’s pretty deceptive. The Hope is very much tied to Malthusian ideology. It has this humanitarian cloak that’s really pushing a lot of subversive ideas in all these other countries.”

The EU’s foreign-policy chief, Josep Borrell, has acknowledged that the “era of Western dominance has indeed definitively ended”. He wrote this in a blog on the official website of the EU’s diplomatic service on the 25th February 2024;.

The text included: “Improving our relations with the ‘Global South’” is one of the four main tasks on EU’s geopolitical agenda”. And, “Many in the ‘Global South’ accuse us of ‘double standards’.”

Well, many in the Global South are correct, so the EU will need plenty of good luck, and money to throw around to improve those relations!

CHINA

Two high ranking US government officials in the Trump administration wrote an article in the April 2024 edition of US Foreign Affairs magazine laying out US plans for a cold and hot war with China.

Listen: Cold War 2: US officials call to overthrow China’s gov’t Geopolitical Economy Report, Apple Podcasts Preview, 18th April

Ben Norton debunks the deceptions of the warmongers in Washington:

6.12: “They say the US should not manage its competition with China. It should win it. And they say, how does winning look? Well, they say that the Chinese people should overthrow the Communist Party and have new models of government. So they’re openly calling for overthrowing the Chinese government. And in this article, they say that we need greater friction with China, so they want to make relations worse, not better. They don’t want diplomacy, they want more conflict. They say that the US should adopt rhetoric and policies that may feel uncomfortably confrontational. And they say that the US must rapidly increase US defence capabilities, that the US must sever China’s access to Western technology – so, continue waging this tech war. And they say that a cold war is already being waged and rather than denying the existence, Washington should own it and win it. So, like the original Cold War, the new Cold War will not be won through half measures or timid rhetoric. And they say that the US should oppose the discredited detente policies of the 1970s”

Please donate

Forgive me for pointing out that, while we receive some one-off donations, I am funding Farms Not Factories myself, and if we are to continue to fight the cruel, antibiotic-led factory farm system, we will need some regular donations from like-minded people. Please consider a monthly subscription of £2/month and help us support a network of smaller scale, humane and healthy UK pig farms, local abattoirs and butchers.

“Our message is simple, we want to help bring an end to this dangerous, inhumane system. Vote for real farming over factory farming.”
– Tracy Worcester, Director
